the_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n that_o the_o say_a estatute_n of_o repeal_n force_n a_o repeal_n of_o the_o statute_n of_o 1_o m._n 2._o and_o the_o book_n of_o common_a prayer_n shall_v be_v in_o force_n and_o every_o thing_n therein_o contain_v only_o concern_v the_o say_a book_n and_o the_o service_n administration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n rite_n and_o ceremony_n contain_v or_o appoint_v in_o or_o by_o the_o say_a book_n shall_v be_v void_a and_o of_o none_o effect_n from_o and_o after_o the_o feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o saint_n john_n baptist_n next_o come_v and_o that_o the_o say_a book_n with_o the_o order_n of_o service_n and_o of_o the_o administration_n of_o sacrament_n rite_n and_o ceremony_n with_o the_o alteration_n and_o addition_n therein_o add_v and_o appoint_v by_o this_o estatute_n shall_v stand_v and_o be_v from_o and_o after_o the_o say_a feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o saint_n john_n baptist_n in_o full_a force_n and_o effect_n baptist_n next_o come_v be_v bind_v to_o say_v and_o use_v the_o matin_n evensong_n celebration_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n and_o administration_n of_o each_o of_o the_o sacrament_n and_o all_o the_o common_a and_o open_a prayer_n 6._o the_o alteration_n of_o the_o book_n set_v forth_o 5_o &_o 6_o ed._n 6._o in_o such_o order_n and_o form_n as_o be_v mention_v in_o the_o say_a book_n so_o authorize_v by_o parliament_n in_o the_o say_v five_o and_o six_o year_n of_o the_o reign_n of_o king_n edward_n the_o six_o with_o one_o alteration_n or_o addition_n of_o certain_a lesson_n to_o be_v use_v on_o every_o sunday_n in_o the_o year_n and_o the_o form_n of_o the_o litany_n alter_v and_o correct_v and_o two_o sentence_n only_o add_v in_o the_o delivery_n of_o the_o sacrament_n to_o the_o communicant_n and_o none_o other_o or_o otherwise_o prayer_n the_o forfeiture_n of_o those_o which_o use_v any_o other_o service_n than_o the_o book_n of_o common_a prayer_n and_o that_o if_o any_o manner_n of_o parson_n vicar_n or_o other_o whatsoever_o minister_n that_o ought_v or_o shall_v sing_v or_o say_v common_a prayer_n mention_v in_o the_o say_a book_n or_o minister_v the_o sacrament_n from_o and_o after_o the_o feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o saint_n john_n baptist_n next_o come_v refuse_v to_o use_v the_o say_v common_a prayer_n or_o to_o administer_v the_o sacrament_n in_o such_o cathedral_n or_o parish_n church_n or_o other_o place_n as_o he_o shall_v use_v to_o minister_v the_o same_o in_o such_o order_n and_o form_n as_o they_o be_v mention_v and_o set_v forth_o in_o the_o say_a book_n or_o shall_v wilful_o or_o obstinate_o stand_v in_o the_o same_o use_v any_o other_o rite_n ceremony_n order_n form_n or_o manner_n of_o celebrate_v the_o lord_n supper_n open_o or_o privy_o or_o matin_n evensong_n administration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n or_o other_o open_a prayer_n then_o be_v mention_v and_o set_v forth_o in_o the_o say_a book_n open_a prayer_n in_o and_o throughout_o this_o act_n be_v mean_v that_o prayer_n which_o be_v for_o other_o to_o come_v unto_o or_o hear_v either_o in_o common_a church_n prayer_n the_o penalty_n for_o deprave_v the_o book_n of_o common_a prayer_n or_o private_a chapel_n or_o oratory_n common_o call_v the_o service_n of_o the_o church_n or_o shall_v preach_v declare_v or_o speak_v any_o thing_n in_o the_o derogation_n or_o deprave_v of_o the_o say_a book_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v or_o of_o any_o part_n thereof_o and_o shall_v be_v thereof_o lawful_o convict_v according_a to_o the_o law_n of_o this_o realm_n by_o verdict_n of_o twelve_o man_n or_o by_o his_o own_o confession_n or_o by_o the_o notorious_a evidence_n of_o the_o fact_n shall_v loose_v and_o forfeit_a to_o the_o queen_n highness_n her_o heir_n and_o successor_n for_o his_o first_o offence_n the_o profit_n of_o all_o his_o spiritual_a benefice_n or_o promotion_n come_v or_o arise_v in_o one_o whole_a year_n next_o after_o his_o this_o present_a in_o any_o college_n seminary_n house_n or_o place_n in_o any_o part_n beyond_o the_o sea_n to_o the_o end_n to_o be_v instruct_v or_o strengthen_v in_o the_o popish_a religion_n which_o shall_v not_o make_v return_n into_o this_o realm_n or_o some_o of_o his_o majesty_n dominion_n within_o one_o year_n next_o come_v after_o the_o end_n of_o this_o session_n of_o parliament_n pay_v the_o twenty_o pound_n per_fw-la month_n into_o the_o exchequer_n and_o the_o king_n make_v no_o election_n to_o take_v the_o two_o three_o part_n of_o his_o estate_n in_o lieu_n thereof_o in_o secret_a whereby_o the_o day_n of_o their_o marriage_n birth_n and_o burial_n can_v be_v certain_o know_v recusant_n stat._n sect._n 15._o marriage_n of_o popish_a recusant_n be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n that_o every_o man_n be_v or_o which_o shall_v be_v a_o popish_a recusant_n convict_v and_o who_o shall_v be_v hereafter_o marry_v otherwise_o then_o in_o some_o open_a church_n or_o chappel_n and_o otherwise_o then_o according_a to_o the_o order_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n by_o a_o minister_n lawful_o authorize_v which_o he_o stand_v so_o charge_v for_o if_o he_o pay_v not_o the_o twenty_o pound_n per_fw-la month_n so_o recover_v the_o king_n or_o informer_n have_v the_o ordinary_a remedy_n after_o judgement_n by_o process_n of_o capias_fw-la against_o they_o both_o both_o and_o the_o intent_n of_o the_o act_n be_v no_o more_o then_o that_o the_o husband_n shall_v pay_v for_o the_o recusancy_n of_o his_o wife_n or_o the_o wife_n be_v imprison_v and_o if_o in_o this_o case_n the_o privy_a counsellor_n bishop_n or_o justice_n of_o peace_n shall_v have_v power_n to_o imprison_v the_o wife_n unless_o the_o say_a oath_n aforesaid_a in_o the_o say_v respective_a court_n or_o court_n aforesaid_a in_o the_o next_o term_n after_o such_o he_o or_o their_o admittance_n or_o admittance_n into_o the_o life_n all_o and_o every_o ecclesiastical_a and_o spiritual_a promotion_n benefice_n and_o office_n and_o every_o temporal_a and_o lay-promotion_n and_o office_n which_o he_o have_v sole_o at_o the_o time_n of_o such_o refusal_n make_v and_o that_o the_o whole_a title_n interest_n and_o incumdency_n in_o every_o such_o promotion_n benefice_n and_o other_o office_n as_o against_o such_o person_n only_o so_o refuse_v during_o his_o life_n shall_v clear_o cease_v and_o be_v void_a as_o though_o the_o party_n so_o refuse_v be_v dead_a and_o that_o also_o all_o and_o every_o such_o person_n and_o person_n so_o refuse_v to_o take_v the_o say_a oath_n shall_v immediate_o after_o such_o refusal_n be_v from_o thenceforth_o during_o his_o life_n disable_v to_o retain_v or_o exercise_v any_o ecclesiastical_a benefice_n promotion_n dignity_n or_o office_n or_o ministry_n or_o that_o shall_v be_v by_o your_o highness_n your_o heir_n or_o successor_n prefer_v or_o promote_v to_o any_o temporal_a or_o lay-office_n ministry_n or_o service_n within_o this_o realm_n or_o in_o any_o your_o highness_n dominion_n before_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v take_v upon_o he_o or_o they_o to_o shall_v have_v any_o office_n or_o ministry_n in_o any_o ecclesiastical_a court_n of_o this_o realm_n under_o any_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n in_o any_o the_o time_n or_o reign_v aforesaid_a or_o the_o say_v next_o assizes_n or_o general_a goal_n delivery_n to_o be_v hold_v in_o the_o same_o county_n and_o if_o at_o the_o say_v next_o assize_n or_o goal_n delivery_n the_o same_o offender_n so_o proclaim_v shall_v not_o make_v appearance_n of_o record_n that_o then_o upon_o such_o default_n record_v the_o same_o shall_v be_v as_o sufficient_a a_o conviction_n in_o law_n of_o the_o say_a within_o the_o pardon_n and_o the_o forfeiture_n due_a upon_o such_o conviction_n be_v thereby_o pardon_v for_o the_o debt_n be_v not_o due_a to_o the_o queen_n by_o judgement_n but_o upon_o present_a parliament_n that_o if_o any_o that_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v a_o recusant_n shall_v submit_v or_o reform_v he_o or_o herself_o and_o become_v obedient_a to_o the_o law_n and_o ordinance_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n and_o repair_v to_o the_o church_n and_o continue_v there_o during_o the_o time_n of_o the_o divine_a service_n and_o sermon_n according_a to_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o the_o statute_n in_o that_o behalf_n in_o the_o say_v late_a queen_n time_n make_v and_o provide_v that_o then_o every_o such_o person_n for_o and_o during_o such_o time_n as_o he_o or_o she_o shall_v so_o continue_v in_o such_o conformity_n and_o obedience_n shall_v from_o thenceforth_o be_v free_v and_o discharge_v of_o and_o from_o any_o the_o penalty_n and_o loss_n which_o the_o same_o person_n may_v otherwise_o sustain_v and_o bear_v in_o respect_n or_o by_o reason_n of_o such_o person_n recusancy_n according_a to_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o the_o statute_n in_o that_o behalf_n it_o have_v be_v doubt_v whether_o these_o word_n do_v refer_v only_o to_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o recusants_n conformity_n or_o to_o the_o time_n likewise_o when_o it_o be_v to_o be_v do_v as_o well_o as_o to_o the_o manner_n for_o if_o they_o refer_v to_o the_o time_n than_o the_o recusant_n be_v still_o bind_v notwithstanding_o this_o statute_n to_o conform_v before_o judgement_n according_a to_o the_o statute_n of_o 23_o eliz._n cap._n 1._o 1_o stat._n 23_o eliz._n 1_o or_o his_o conformity_n afterward_o shall_v not_o discharge_v he_o of_o the_o penalty_n but_o the_o better_a opinion_n be_v that_o by_o these_o word_n according_a to_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o the_o statute_n be_v to_o be_v intend_v only_o that_o the_o recusant_n must_v conform_v in_o such_o manner_n as_o be_v there_o appoint_v but_o as_o to_o the_o time_n the_o general_a word_n here_o have_v enlarge_v the_o time_n limit_v by_o 23_o eliz._n sufficient_a if_o the_o recusant_n conform_v after_o judgement_n it_o be_v sufficient_a for_o this_o statute_n be_v make_v in_o further_a favour_n of_o the_o recusant_n so_o that_o now_o if_o he_o conform_v after_o judgement_n it_o be_v time_n enough_o and_o he_o shall_v be_v discharge_v of_o all_o penalty_n in_o respect_n of_o his_o recusancy_n and_o if_o a_o information_n tam_fw-la pro_fw-la domino_fw-la rege_fw-la quam_fw-la
