supply_v by_o curate_n that_o be_v allow_v preacher_n every_o benefice_a man_n license_v by_o the_o law_n of_o this_o realm_n upon_o urgent_a occasion_n of_o other_o service_n not_o to_o reside_v upon_o his_o benefice_n shall_v cause_v his_o cure_n to_o be_v supply_v by_o a_o curate_n that_o be_v a_o sufficient_a and_o license_v preacher_n if_o the_o worth_n of_o the_o benefice_n will_v bear_v it_o but_o whosoever_o have_v two_o benefice_n shall_v maintain_v a_o preacher_n license_v in_o the_o benefice_n where_o he_o do_v not_o reside_v except_o he_o preach_v himself_o at_o both_o of_o they_o usual_o xlviii_o none_o to_o be_v curate_n but_o allow_v by_o the_o bishop_n no_o curate_n or_o minister_n shall_v be_v permit_v to_o serve_v in_o any_o place_n without_o examination_n and_o admission_n of_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n or_o ordinary_a of_o the_o place_n have_v episcopal_a jurissdiction_n in_o write_v under_o his_o hand_n and_o seal_n have_v respect_n to_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o cure_n and_o meetness_n of_o the_o party_n and_o the_o say_a curate_n and_o minister_n if_o they_o remove_v from_o one_o diocese_n to_o another_o shall_v not_o be_v by_o any_o honesty_n ability_n and_o conformity_n to_o the_o ecclesiastical_a law_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n nor_o any_o shall_v serve_v more_o than_o one_o church_n or_o chapel_n upon_o one_o day_n except_o that_o chapel_n be_v a_o member_n of_o the_o parish_n church_n or_o unite_v thereunto_o and_o unless_o the_o say_a church_n or_o chapel_n where_o such_o a_o minister_n shall_v serve_v in_o two_o place_n be_v not_o able_a in_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o bishop_n or_o ordinary_a as_o aforesaid_a to_o maintain_v a_o curate_n xlix_o minister_n not_o allow_v preacher_n may_v not_o expound_v no_o person_n whatsoever_o not_o examine_v and_o approve_v by_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n or_o not_o license_v as_o be_v aforesaid_a for_o a_o sufficient_a or_o convenient_a preacher_n shall_v take_v upon_o he_o to_o expound_v in_o his_o own_o cure_n or_o elsewhere_o any_o scripture_n or_o matter_n of_o doctrine_n but_o shall_v only_o study_v to_o read_v plain_o and_o apt_o without_o gloss_v or_o add_v the_o homily_n already_o set_v forth_o or_o hereafter_o to_o be_v publish_v by_o lawful_a authority_n for_o the_o confirmation_n of_o the_o true_a faith_n and_o for_o the_o good_a instruction_n and_o edification_n of_o the_o people_n l._n stranger_n not_o admit_v to_o preach_v without_o show_v their_o licence_n neither_o the_o minister_n church_n warden_n nor_o any_o other_o officer_n of_o the_o church_n shall_v suffer_v any_o man_n to_o preach_v within_o their_o church_n or_o chapel_n but_o such_o as_o by_o show_v their_o licence_n to_o preach_v shall_v appear_v unto_o they_o to_o be_v sufficient_o authorize_v thereunto_o as_o be_v aforesaid_a li._n stranger_n not_o admit_v to_o preach_v in_o cathedral_n church_n without_o sufficient_a authority_n the_o dean_n precedent_n and_o residentiaries_n of_o any_o cathedral_n or_o collegiate_n church_n shall_v suffer_v no_o stranger_n to_o preach_v unto_o the_o people_n in_o their_o church_n except_o they_o be_v allow_v by_o the_o archbishop_n of_o the_o province_n or_o by_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o same_o diocese_n or_o by_o either_o of_o the_o university_n and_o if_o any_o in_o his_o sermon_n shall_v publish_v any_o doctrine_n either_o strange_a or_o disagree_v from_o the_o word_n of_o god_n or_o from_o any_o of_o the_o article_n of_o religion_n agree_v upon_o in_o the_o convocation_n house_n anno_fw-la 1562._o or_o from_o the_o book_n of_o common_a prayer_n the_o dean_n or_o the_o resident_n shall_v by_o their_o letter_n subscribe_v with_o some_o of_o their_o hand_n that_o hear_v he_o so_o soon_o as_o may_v be_v give_v notice_n of_o the_o same_o to_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n that_o he_o may_v determine_v the_o matter_n and_o take_v such_o order_n of_o all_o preacher_n which_o come_v to_o their_o church_n from_o any_o other_o place_n be_v note_v in_o a_o book_n which_o they_o shall_v have_v ready_a for_o that_o purpose_n wherein_o every_o preacher_n shall_v subscribe_v his_o name_n the_o day_n wherein_o he_o preach_v and_o the_o name_n of_o the_o bishop_n of_o who_o he_o have_v licence_n to_o preach_v liii_o no_o public_a opposition_n between_o preacher_n if_o any_o preacher_n shall_v in_o the_o pulpit_n particular_o or_o namely_o of_o purpose_n impugn_v or_o confute_v any_o doctrine_n deliver_v by_o any_o other_o preacher_n in_o the_o same_o church_n or_o in_o any_o church_n near_o adjoin_v before_o he_o have_v acquaint_v the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n therewith_o and_o receive_v order_n what_o to_o do_v in_o that_o case_n because_o upon_o such_o public_a and_o dissent_v and_o contradict_v there_o may_v grow_v much_o offence_n and_o disquietness_n unto_o the_o people_n the_o churchwarden_n or_o party_n grieve_v shall_v forthwith_o signify_v the_o same_o to_o the_o say_a bishop_n and_o not_o suffer_v the_o say_a preacher_n any_o more_o to_o occupy_v that_o place_n which_o he_o have_v once_o abuse_v except_o
