the_o king_n prohibit_v the_o retain_v any_o english_a book_n or_o write_n concern_v matter_n against_o the_o holy_a and_o bless_a sacrament_n of_o the_o altar_n or_o for_o maintenance_n of_o the_o anabaptist_n or_o other_o book_n abolish_v by_o the_o king_n proclamation_n forbid_v any_o thing_n to_o be_v teach_v contrary_a to_o the_o king_n instruction_n etc._n etc._n under_o severe_a penalty_n in_o which_o there_o be_v this_o far_a clause_n and_o be_v it_o far_o enact_v that_o the_o king_n majesty_n our_o say_a sovereign_n lord_n that_o now_o be_v king_n henry_n the_o eight_o may_v at_o reign_n be_v the_o 37_o hen._n 8._o cap._n 17._o 17._o which_o act_n recite_v that_o the_o archbishop_n bishop_n archdeacon_n and_o other_o ecclesiastical_a person_n have_v no_o manner_n of_o jurisdiction_n ecclesiastical_a but_o by_o under_z and_o from_o the_o king_n enact_n that_o all_o person_n as_o well_o lay_v as_o marry_v man_n be_v doctor_n of_o the_o civil_a law_n may_v lawful_o execute_v and_o exercise_v all_o manner_n of_o jurisdiction_n and_o all_o censure_n and_o coertion_n appertain_v to_o or_o in_o any_o wise_a concern_v the_o same_o etc._n etc._n any_o law_n hen._n 8._o cap._n 8._o and_o 32_o hen._n 8._o cap._n 25._o and_o a_o power_n of_o dispense_v with_o the_o canon_n law_n by_o the_o statute_n of_o 25_o hen._n 8._o cap._n 21._o yet_o think_v it_o convenient_a at_o least_o to_o have_v the_o concurrence_n of_o his_o parliament_n in_o break_v through_o those_o ordinance_n and_o constitution_n whereby_o layman_n and_o marryed-man_n be_v disable_v
