subject_a to_o change_v impropriety_n and_o many_o defect_n as_o by_o the_o true_a intention_n and_o purpose_n of_o the_o party_n especial_o the_o promiser_n now_o what_o be_v the_o whole_a intent_n and_o purpose_n of_o these_o party_n when_o they_o mutual_o bind_v themselves_o in_o such_o sort_n as_o in_o the_o case_n propound_v be_v lay_v down_o no_o reasonable_a man_n can_v be_v ignorant_a even_o this_o and_o no_o other_o to_o give_v as_o good_a assurance_n as_o they_o can_v devise_v either_o to_o other_o and_o to_o receive_v the_o like_a assurance_n again_o that_o the_o thing_n by_o intendment_n to_o be_v take_v as_o tend_v to_o the_o selfsame_a purpose_n without_o look_v at_o any_o further_a thing_n &_o clear_o where_o the_o promiser_n have_v no_o intention_n to_o bind_v himself_o to_o god_n but_o to_o man_n only_o the_o promise_n so_o make_v be_v no_o vow_n whatsoever_o formality_n of_o word_n may_v be_v use_v in_o the_o make_n of_o it_o sect._n 4._o neither_o be_v the_o examination_n of_o this_o point_n a_o curiosity_n either_o in_o it_o self_n fruitless_a or_o impertinent_a to_o the_o case_n in_o hand_n for_o albeit_o in_o that_o which_o seem_v to_o be_v the_o very_a main_a point_n of_o all_o viz._n the_o power_n of_o bind_v the_o conscience_n there_o be_v no_o material_a difference_n between_o a_o vow_n and_o a_o ordinary_a promise_n a_o lawful_a promise_n
