to_o the_o bishop_n and_o there_o be_v so_o many_o &_o so_o good_a reason_n allege_v in_o a_o short_a letter_n of_o a_o priest_n for_o that_o matter_n that_o no_o man_n that_o will_v be_v rule_v by_o reason_n will_v either_o doubt_n of_o the_o power_n of_o regulars_n to_o here_o confession_n or_o think_v that_o my_o lord_n bishop_n himself_o be_v so_o learned_a a_o man_n can_v doubt_v of_o it_o &_o therefore_o they_o may_v well_o think_v he_o mean_v that_o but_o by_o the_o by_o and_o aim_v at_o another_o matter_n principal_o and_o so_o they_o answer_v that_o which_o seem_v to_o they_o the_o principal_a matter_n more_o large_o and_o touch_v the_o other_o but_o brief_o now_o for_o regulars_n to_o ask_v his_o lordship_n approbation_n where_o the_o matter_n be_v so_o manifest_a be_v whole_o unnecessary_a beside_o that_o though_o his_o lordship_n shall_v give_v it_o under_o his_o hand_n and_o seal_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v no_o prejudice_n to_o they_o it_o be_v like_a they_o know_v it_o may_v be_v prejudicial_a in_o some_o respect_n or_o other_o for_o the_o very_o ask_v it_o as_o necessary_a argue_v a_o dependency_n but_o for_o his_o lordship_n approbation_n which_o this_o divine_a bishop_n in_o every_o particular_a diocese_n or_o country_n for_o if_o it_o be_v so_o then_o shall_v those_o 10._o pope_n from_o pius_n 4._o to_o paulus_n 5._o have_v offend_v grievous_o in_o not_o virtue_n of_o religion_n to_o hold_v they_o so_o where_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n of_o doubt_n for_o say_v he_o it_o suffice_v that_o they_o be_v oblige_v to_o obey_v their_o lawful_a pastor_n and_o that_o they_o have_v no_o reasonable_a cause_n to_o doubt_v but_o that_o the_o bishop_n of_o clalcedon_n be_v such_o to_o they_o and_o so_o conclude_v that_o they_o err_v exceed_o if_o they_o think_v especial_o hear_v of_o diverse_a thing_n do_v by_o my_o lord_n of_o chalcedon_n officer_n as_o excommunicate_v of_o some_o and_o threaten_a other_o as_o also_o come_v to_o see_v the_o letter_n
