contrary_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o this_o sacrament_n and_o to_o the_o institution_n of_o christ_n the_o papist_n 2._o this_o holy_a synod_n declare_v and_o teach_v that_o laic_n and_o clerk_n not_o consecrate_a be_v by_o no_o divine_a precept_n bind_v to_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n under_o both_o kind_n and_o that_o it_o may_v in_o no_o sort_n be_v doubt_v without_o prejudice_n to_o faith_n but_o that_o the_o communion_n of_o one_o kind_n be_v sufficient_a to_o salvation_n 2._o if_o any_o one_o shall_v say_v that_o by_o god_n command_v all_o the_o faithful_a of_o christ_n ought_v to_o actual_a and_o there_o be_v none_o other_o satisfaction_n for_o sin_n but_o that_o alone_a wherefore_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o mass_n in_o the_o which_o it_o be_v common_o say_v that_o the_o priest_n do_v offer_v christ_n for_o the_o quick_a and_o the_o dead_a to_o have_v remission_n of_o pain_n or_o guilt_n be_v blasphemous_a fable_n &_o dangerous_a deceit_n the_o presbyterian_o 2._o in_o this_o sacrament_n christ_n be_v not_o offer_v up_o to_o his_o father_n nor_o any_o real_a sacrifice_n make_v at_o all_o for_o remission_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o quick_a or_o dead_a but_o only_o a_o commemoration_n of_o that_o one_o offer_v up_o of_o himself_o by_o himself_o upon_o the_o cross_n once_o for_o all_o and_o a_o spiritual_a oblation_n of_o all_o possible_a praise_n unto_o god_n for_o the_o same_o so_o that_o the_o popish_a sacrifice_n of_o the_o mass_n as_o they_o call_v it_o be_v most_o abominable_o injurious_a to_o christ_n one_o only_a sacrifice_n the_o alone_a propitiation_n for_o all_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o elect._n the_o papist_n ●_o in_o this_o divine_a sacrifice_n of_o the_o mass_n the_o same_o christ_n be_v contain_v and_o unbloody_o sacrifice_v who_o once_o offer_v
