same_o city_n borowe_n or_o town_n corporate_a any_o thing_n or_o clause_n before_o mention_v and_o express_v in_o this_o act_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o provide_v always_o that_o this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v shall_v not_o extend_v to_o any_o lawful_a reteyninge_n or_o covenaunte_n have_v or_o make_v before_o the_o make_n of_o this_o act_n but_o that_o all_o and_o every_o the_o party_n to_o such_o reteyninge_n or_o covenaunte_n shall_v and_o may_v have_v the_o same_o and_o like_a avantage_n of_o such_o reteyninge_n &_o covenaunte_n and_o of_o the_o subject_n afore_o mention_v that_o shall_v take_v the_o same_o in_o the_o ship_n or_o other_o vessel_n of_o the_o say_a subject_n as_o it_o be_v abovesaid_a otherwise_o then_o by_o agreement_n of_o shire_n city_n or_o borough_n where_o the_o say_a offence_n shall_v be_v commit_v by_o the_o sheriff_n or_o his_o minister_n if_o it_o shall_v fortune_n to_o be_v without_o any_o city_n or_o town_n corporate_a and_o if_o it_o happen_v to_o be_v within_o any_o such_o city_n or_o town_n corporat_fw-la then_o by_o the_o say_a head_n officer_n or_o officer_n of_o such_o city_n or_o town_n corporate_a or_o by_o his_o or_o their_o minister_n and_o there_o to_o have_v both_o his_o ear_n nail_v and_o from_o thenceforth_o to_o be_v discredit_v and_o disable_v for_o ever_o to_o be_v swear_v in_o any_o of_o the_o court_n of_o record_v aforesaid_a untyll_o such_o time_n as_o the_o judgement_n shall_v be_v reverse_a and_o thereupon_o to_o recover_v his_o damage_n in_o manner_n and_o form_n before_o mention_v the_o one_o moiety_n of_o all_o which_o sum_n of_o money_n good_n &_o cattelle_n to_o be_v forfeit_v in_o manner_n and_o form_n aforesaid_a to_o be_v to_o the_o queen_n our_o every_o the_o defaulte_n and_o offence_n perpetrate_v commit_v or_o do_v contrary_a to_o this_o act_n by_o inquisition_n presentment_n bill_n or_o information_n before_o they_o exhibit_v or_o proclamation_n of_o this_o estatute_n or_o of_o the_o effect_n thereof_o to_o thintent_v no_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v be_v ignorant_a or_o miscognisaunt_a of_o the_o penalty_n herein_o contain_v provide_v also_o that_o this_o act_n nor_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v shall_v not_o extend_v to_o any_o spiritual_a or_o ecclesiastical_a court_n or_o court_n within_o this_o realm_n person_n upon_o who_o any_o process_n out_o of_o any_o of_o the_o court_n of_o record_v within_o this_o realm_n or_o wales_n shall_v be_v serve_v to_o testify_v or_o depose_v concern_v any_o cause_n or_o matter_n depend_v in_o any_o of_o the_o same_o court_n and_o have_v tender_v unto_o he_o or_o they_o according_a to_o his_o or_o their_o countenance_n or_o calling_n such_o reasonable_a sum_n
