by_o the_o precedent_n and_o fellow_n of_o the_o say_a college_n for_o the_o time_n be_v assemble_v in_o court_n or_o convocation_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o such_o their_o licence_n or_o admittance_n be_v attest_v by_o letter_n testimoniall_n of_o the_o say_a precedent_n and_o fellow_n of_o the_o say_a college_n for_o the_o time_n be_v seal_v with_o the_o common_a seal_n of_o the_o same_o or_o in_o any_o other_o of_o our_o court_n of_o record_n within_o the_o jurisdiction_n whereof_o the_o offence_n aforesaid_a shalbée_v commit_v according_a to_o the_o due_a course_n of_o law_n to_o say_a faculty_n or_o use_v the_o art_n or_o mystery_n of_o a_o apothecary_n or_o the_o trade_n or_o craft_n of_o a_o druggist_n distiller_n preparer_n or_o seller_n of_o any_o oil_n water_n or_o medicine_n for_o gain_v as_o aforesaid_a or_o that_o shall_v sell_v or_o put_v to_o sale_n any_o stuffe_n drug_n oil_n water_n or_o medicine_n or_o other_o thing_n whatsoever_o use_v or_o to_o be_v use_v for_o medicine_n either_o simple_a or_o compound_v at_o or_o in_o any_o place_n or_o place_n within_o our_o say_a city_n of_o london_n and_o westminster_n or_o suburb_n thereof_o or_o within_o seven_o mile_n of_o the_o same_o by_o fines_n amerciament_n and_o imprisonment_n and_o by_o other_o lawful_a way_n and_o mean_n or_o any_o of_o they_o according_a as_o the_o nature_n and_o quality_n aforesaid_a or_o of_o any_o other_o person_n or_o person_n that_o now_o do_v or_o hereafter_o shall_v put_v or_o set_v to_o sale_n any_o medicine_n drug_n water_n oil_n or_o stuff_v use_v or_o to_o be_v use_v for_o medicine_n within_o the_o aforesaid_a city_n or_o suburb_n of_o london_n and_o westminster_n or_o within_o seven_o mile_n thereof_o and_o then_o and_o there_o to_o search_v view_n try_v examine_v and_o see_v the_o say_v medicine_n ware_n drug_n water_n oil_n medicine_n and_o stuff_v of_o such_o apothecary_n druggist_n distiller_n preparer_n or_o seller_n of_o water_n oil_n or_o medicine_n or_o other_o person_n or_o person_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o to_o examine_v they_o upon_o oath_n oath_n or_o without_o oath_n as_o they_o shall_v think_v best_a concern_v the_o receipt_n and_o composition_n thereof_o and_o all_o such_o medicine_n ware_n drug_n water_n oil_n and_o stuff_n as_o the_o say_a censor_n or_o any_o three_o of_o they_o as_o aforesaid_a shall_v find_v to_o be_v defective_a corrupt_a or_o not_o meet_v or_o convenient_a to_o be_v minister_v or_o use_v in_o medicine_n for_o the_o corrupt_v health_n of_o man_n body_n they_o the_o say_v censor_n or_o any_o three_o of_o they_o shall_v or_o may_v take_v burn_v or_o otherwise_o destroy_v the_o same_o or_o cause_n to_o be_v take_v burn_v or_o otherwise_o destroy_v according_a to_o their_o discretion_n and_o in_o case_n any_o opposition_n or_o denial_n shalbée_v make_v so_o that_o by_o occasion_n thereof_o such_o entry_n search_n and_o examination_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a can_v be_v make_v according_a to_o the_o true_a intent_n and_o meaning_n of_o these_o present_n that_o then_o and_o so_o often_o and_o in_o every_o such_o case_n every_o person_n and_o person_n so_o oppose_v or_o deny_v and_o suburb_n of_o london_n and_o westminster_n or_o within_o seven_o mile_n thereof_o all_o or_o any_o such_o apothecary_n druggist_n distiller_n preparer_n or_o seller_n of_o such_o water_n oil_n or_o medicine_n as_o aforesaid_a or_o any_o other_o person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o use_v the_o art_n or_o mystery_n of_o a_o apothecary_n or_o druggist_n or_o the_o trade_n or_o craft_n of_o a_o distiller_n preparer_n or_o seller_n of_o water_n oil_n or_o medicine_n or_o that_o shall_v put_v or_o set_v to_o sale_n any_o stuffe_n drug_n water_n oil_n medicine_n or_o other_o thing_n whatsoever_o apt_a fit_a or_o use_v for_o medicine_n either_o simple_a or_o compound_v within_o the_o aforesaid_a city_n and_o suburb_n of_o london_n or_o within_o seven_o mile_n from_o the_o same_o and_o if_o such_o person_n or_o person_n so_o summon_v or_o warn_v as_o aforesaid_a upon_o reasonable_a summons_n and_o garnishment_n to_o he_o or_o they_o in_o that_o behalf_n make_v have_v no_o reasonable_a cause_n to_o the_o contrary_n shall_v not_o according_o make_z his_o or_o their_o personal_a appearance_n before_o the_o precedent_n and_o appear_v censor_n or_o vice-president_n and_o censor_n of_o the_o college_n aforesaid_a in_o the_o absence_n of_o the_o precedent_n or_o any_o three_o of_o they_o for_o the_o time_n be_v as_o aforesaid_a at_o such_o time_n and_o place_n as_o by_o the_o say_a precedent_n and_o censor_n or_o vice-president_n and_o censor_n or_o any_o three_o of_o they_o as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v reasonable_o limit_v or_o appoint_v than_o we_o do_v by_o these_o present_v declare_v that_o it_o shall_v and_o may_v be_v lawful_a to_o and_o for_o the_o aforesaid_a precedent_n and_o censor_n or_o vice-president_n and_o censor_n or_o any_o three_o of_o person_n summon_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v make_v he_o or_o their_o personal_a appearance_n before_o the_o aforesaid_a precedent_n and_o censor_n or_o vice-president_n and_o censor_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o any_o three_o of_o they_o as_o aforesaid_a at_o such_o time_n and_o place_n as_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v lymit_v or_o appoint_v and_o then_o and_o there_o it_o shall_v appear_v unto_o the_o say_a precedent_n and_o censor_n or_o vice-president_n and_o censor_n or_o any_o three_o of_o they_o as_o aforesaid_a that_o the_o say_a person_n or_o person_n so_o appeare_v then_o or_o of_o late_a have_v put_v or_o set_v to_o sale_n any_o ware_n drug_n water_n medicine_n oil_n medicine_n or_o stuff_v defective_a corrupt_v or_o not_o meet_v or_o convenient_a to_o be_v minister_v in_o medicine_n for_o the_o health_n of_o man_n body_n or_o that_o any_o such_o person_n or_o person_n so_o summon_v and_o appeare_v as_o aforesaid_a then_o or_o of_o late_a have_v make_v or_o compound_v or_o deliver_v out_o any_o medicine_n either_o simple_a or_o compound_v differ_v from_o and_o not_o agreeable_a in_o name_n etc._n nature_n and_o quantity_n unto_o the_o prescript_n or_o direction_n deliver_v unto_o the_o say_a person_n or_o person_n before_o the_o make_v compound_v or_o delivery_n of_o the_o say_a medicine_n then_o the_o say_a precedent_n and_o censor_n or_o vice-president_n and_o censor_n in_o the_o absence_n of_o the_o precedent_n or_o any_o three_o of_o they_o for_o the_o time_n be_v whereof_o the_o precedent_n or_o in_o his_o absence_n the_o vice-president_n to_o be_v one_o shall_v have_v full_a power_n and_o authority_n to_o impose_v a_o reasonable_a penalty_n fine_n and_o amerciament_n upon_o all_o offence_n and_o every_o person_n and_o person_n so_o offend_v so_o as_o the_o same_o penalty_n fine_n and_o amerciament_n for_o any_o one_o fault_n or_o offence_n exceed_v not_o at_o any_o one_o time_n the_o sum_n of_o three_o pound_n of_o lawful_a english_a satisfaction_n and_o payment_n of_o the_o same_o fine_a so_o impose_v upon_o he_o for_o the_o same_o offence_n and_o forasmuch_o as_o we_o be_v well_o satisfy_v in_o ourself_o and_o hold_v it_o most_o reasonable_a and_o requisite_a that_o a_o like_a care_n and_o consideration_n shall_v be_v have_v and_o take_v of_o all_o our_o good_a subject_n inhabit_v or_o resident_a in_o other_o the_o diocese_n and_o part_n of_o this_o our_o realm_n of_o england_n not_o herein_o abovemention_v nor_o provide_v for_o in_o matter_n concern_v the_o good_a and_o health_n of_o their_o body_n which_o to_o effect_n well_o qualify_v person_n admit_v to_o exercise_n and_o practice_v in_o physic_n in_o the_o part_n of_o this_o our_o kingdom_n without_o our_o say_a city_n of_o london_n and_o westminster_n and_o the_o lymitt_v of_o seven_o mile_n aforesaid_a our_o will_n and_o pleasure_n be_v and_o we_o do_v by_o these_o present_n for_o we_o our_o heir_n and_o successor_n grant_v constitute_v and_o ordain_v that_o all_o and_o every_o they_o person_n and_o person_n whatsoever_o now_o or_o hereafter_o willing_a or_o desirous_a to_o exercise_v or_o practice_v physic_n in_o any_o the_o part_n of_o this_o our_o kingdom_n without_o the_o city_n and_o lymitt_n aforesaid_a do_v and_o shall_v before_o he_o or_o they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o respective_o make_v any_o open_a profession_n thereof_o offer_v and_o submit_v themselves_o to_o the_o examination_n and_o trial_n as_o to_o their_o several_a ability_n and_o qualification_n requisite_a in_o that_o faculty_n of_o the_o precedent_n and_o elect_v or_o vice-president_n and_o elect_v in_o the_o absence_n examine_v of_o the_o precedent_n of_o the_o college_n aforesaid_a or_o any_o four_o of_o they_o for_o the_o time_n be_v whereof_o the_o precedent_n or_o in_o his_o absence_n the_o vice-president_n for_o the_o time_n be_v to_o be_v always_o one_o to_o the_o end_n that_o such_o person_n and_o person_n as_o on_o such_o examination_n or_o trial_n shall_v appear_v to_o be_v able_a and_o qualify_v for_o the_o exercise_n of_o that_o faculty_n may_v be_v approve_v and_o allow_v of_o by_o tryer_n testimonial_a in_o write_v under_o the_o particular_a hand_n of_o the_o person_n respective_o so_o examine_v and_o approve_a they_o and_o we_o do_v hereby_o will_n and_o require_v and_o by_o these_o present_n for_o we_o our_o heir_n and_o successor_n give_v and_o grant_v unto_o the_o precedent_n and_o elect_v of_o the_o college_n aforesaid_a and_o in_o the_o absence_n of_o the_o precedent_n to_o the_o vice-president_n and_o elect_v of_o the_o same_o college_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o any_o four_o of_o they_o whereof_o the_o precedent_n or_o in_o his_o absence_n the_o vice-president_n for_o the_o time_n be_v to_o be_v one_o from_o time_n to_o time_n to_o receive_v send_v for_o and_o call_v before_o they_o all_o and_o every_o such_o person_n and_o person_n that_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v willing_a or_o desirous_a or_o shall_v begynn_v or_o venture_v to_o exercise_n etc._n or_o practice_v in_o the_o say_a faculty_n of_o physic_n within_o any_o the_o part_n of_o this_o our_o realm_n of_o england_n without_o the_o city_n and_o lymitt_v aforesaid_a and_o they_o and_o every_o of_o they_o well_o faithful_o and_o exact_o to_o examine_v and_o make_v trial_n of_o their_o several_a and_o respective_a qualification_n and_o ability_n as_o to_o the_o say_a faculty_n of_o physic_n and_o the_o exercise_n and_o practice_n thereof_o and_o to_o allow_v licence_n and_o approve_v of_o such_o and_o so_o many_o of_o they_o as_o shall_v be_v by_o the_o say_v examiner_n respective_o as_o aforesaid_a adjudge_v able_a and_o qualify_v for_o that_o profession_n and_o thereupon_o to_o make_v and_o give_v unto_o they_o and_o every_o of_o they_o so_o approve_v of_o as_o aforesaid_a a_o testimonial_a in_o write_v under_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o examiner_n respective_o as_o aforesaid_a and_o alsoe_o to_o refuse_v suppress_v and_o reject_v all_o and_o every_o such_o person_n and_o person_n as_o to_o unfit_a the_o say_v examiner_n respective_o appoint_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v from_o time_n to_o time_n appear_v to_o be_v insufficient_a or_o not_o due_o qualify_v for_o the_o exercise_n of_o that_o faculty_n and_o further_a by_o all_o just_a and_o lawful_a way_n and_o mean_v possible_a in_o the_o future_a to_o the_o utmost_a of_o their_o power_n to_o prevent_v or_o timely_a to_o reform_v and_o correct_v the_o abuse_n irregularity_n and_o enormity_n aforesaid_a in_o all_o and_o every_o the_o part_n of_o this_o our_o realm_n without_o our_o say_a city_n of_o london_n and_o westminster_n and_o lymitt_v of_o seven_o mile_n aforesaid_a and_o our_o further_a will_n and_o pleasure_n be_v and_o we_o do_v by_o these_o present_n for_o we_o our_o heir_n and_o successor_n grant_v constitute_v and_o ordain_v that_o no_o person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o except_o university_n he_o or_o they_o be_v a_o
