and_o authority_n to_o administer_v a_o oath_n to_o any_o person_n or_o witness_n in_o order_n to_o the_o examination_n or_o trial_n of_o any_o of_o the_o offence_n aforesaid_a and_o in_o the_o absence_n of_o a_o judge-advocate_n the_o court-martial_a shall_v have_v full_a power_n and_o authority_n to_o appoint_v any_o person_n to_o administer_v a_o oath_n to_o the_o purpose_n aforesaid_a provide_v also_o and_o it_o be_v further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n or_o thing_n therein_o contain_v shall_v not_o in_o any_o manner_n of_o wise_a extend_v to_o give_v unto_o the_o lord_n admiral_n of_o england_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o to_o any_o his_o vice-admirals_n judge_n or_o judge_n of_o the_o admiralty_n his_o or_o their_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n or_o to_o any_o other_o the_o officer_n or_o minister_n of_o the_o admiralty_n or_o to_o any_o other_o have_v or_o claim_v any_o admiral_n power_n jurisdiction_n or_o authority_n within_o this_o realm_n and_o wales_n nor_o any_o other_o the_o king_n dominion_n any_o other_o power_n right_o jurisdiction_n pre-eminence_n or_o authority_n than_o he_o or_o they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o lawful_o have_v have_v or_o have_v or_o aught_o to_o have_v and_o enjoy_v before_o the_o make_n of_o this_o act_n other_o than_o for_o such_o of_o the_o offence_n specify_v in_o the_o several_a article_n contain_v in_o this_o act_n as_o hereafter_o shall_v be_v do_v upon_o the_o main_a sea_n or_o in_o ship_n or_o vessel_n be_v and_o hover_v in_o the_o main_a stream_n of_o great_a river_n only_o beneath_o the_o bridge_n of_o the_o same_o river_n nigh_o to_o the_o sea_n within_o the_o jurisdiction_n of_o the_o admiralty_n and_o in_o none_o other_o place_n whatsoever_o and_o commit_v only_o by_o such_o person_n as_o shall_v be_v in_o actual_a service_n and_o pay_v in_o his_o majesty_n fleet_n or_o ship_n of_o war._n finis_fw-la
