further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o in_o every_o action_n suit_n indictment_n information_n or_o prosecution_n wherein_o or_o whereby_o the_o person_n or_o person_n which_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v appoint_v by_o his_o majesty_n for_o manage_v his_o custom_n or_o the_o officer_n of_o his_o majesty_n custom_n or_o any_o officer_n or_o officer_n person_n or_o person_n authorize_v by_o his_o majesty_n to_o put_v in_o execution_n the_o act_n of_o parliament_n for_o increase_a and_o encourage_v of_o navigation_n their_o deputy_n or_o servant_n or_o any_o other_o act_v in_o aid_n of_o they_o have_v be_v be_v or_o shall_v be_v sue_v indict_v prosecute_v or_o molest_v it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a for_o all_o and_o every_o the_o say_a person_n their_o heir_n executor_n and_o administrator_n to_o plead_v the_o general_a issue_n evidence_n and_o to_o give_v this_o for_o other_o act_n relate_v to_o custom_n or_o navigation_n in_o evidence_n and_o to_o give_v this_o say_a matter_n shall_v be_v depend_v and_o the_o judge_n of_o the_o say_a court_n be_v hereby_o strict_o enjoin_v and_o require_v to_o admit_v the_o same_o and_o to_o acquit_v and_o indemnify_v they_o and_o every_o of_o they_o of_o and_o from_o all_o such_o suit_n indictment_n information_n or_o prosecution_n for_o or_o concern_v any_o matter_n or_o thing_n act_v or_o do_v in_o the_o due_a and_o necessary_a performance_n and_o execution_n of_o their_o respective_a trust_n and_o employment_n therein_o be_v it_o hereby_o also_o enact_v for_o avoid_v of_o fraudulent_a composition_n that_o if_o any_o seizer_n informer_n for_o avoid_v fraudulent_a composition_n by_o informer_n informer_n or_o officer_n as_o aforesaid_a shall_v not_o prosecute_v to_o effect_v for_o the_o bring_n to_o trial_n and_o condemnation_n the_o ship_n good_n and_o merchandise_n by_o they_o seize_v or_o inform_v against_o that_o then_o and_o in_o every_o such_o case_n it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a to_o or_o for_o any_o of_o the_o person_n or_o person_n which_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v appoint_v by_o his_o majesty_n for_o manage_v his_o custom_n or_o the_o officer_n of_o the_o custom_n or_o other_o person_n or_o person_n depute_v by_o they_o or_o thereunto_o authorize_v by_o the_o lord-treasurer_n or_o vnder-treasurer_n to_o make_v seizure_n of_o or_o inform_v against_o such_o good_n and_o merchandise_n or_o seizure_n or_o inquisition_n be_v or_o shall_v be_v so_o take_v or_o return_v mention_v only_o in_o brief_a the_o date_n of_o the_o say_v write_v or_o commission_n and_o shall_v deliver_v the_o say_v copy_n well_o and_o true_o examine_v and_o attest_v under_o his_o or_o their_o hand_n to_o the_o engrosser_n of_o the_o say_v great_a roll_n and_o that_o all_o such_o of_o the_o say_a seizure_n and_o inquisition_n as_o now_o be_v return_v into_o any_o of_o their_o respective_a office_n shall_v be_v deliver_v before_o the_o first_o day_n of_o february_n next_o come_v and_o that_o all_o such_o other_o seizure_n as_o shall_v hereafter_o be_v return_v or_o certify_v into_o their_o respective_a office_n shall_v be_v deliver_v so_o examine_v and_o attest_v as_o aforesaid_a to_o the_o say_a in_o any_o of_o the_o respective_a office_n shall_v be_v also_o deliver_v by_o the_o first_o day_n of_o the_o next_o term_n after_o such_o retorn_v make_v act._n the_o penalty_n upon_o officer_n for_o do_v any_o thing_n against_o this_o act._n or_o such_o fine_n or_o amerciament_n so_o set_v or_o impose_v that_o so_o they_o may_v be_v all_o charge_v in_o the_o sheriff_n account_n respective_o and_o the_o mint_n or_o mint_n penalty_n penalty_n then_o the_o party_n or_o party_n offend_v shall_v be_v liable_a by_o action_n of_o debt_n or_o in_o the_o case_n to_o pay_v the_o value_n of_o the_o gold_n or_o silver_n bring_v in_o and_o not_o enter_v and_o deliver_v according_a to_o the_o true_a intent_n and_o meaning_n and_o direction_n of_o this_o act_n as_o aforesaid_a with_o damage_n and_o cost_v to_o the_o party_n or_o party_n grieve_v and_o shall_v be_v forejudged_n from_o he_o or_o their_o place_n or_o office_n and_o if_o such_o preference_n be_v undue_o make_v by_o any_o of_o he_o or_o their_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n clerk_n or_o clerk_n without_o direction_n or_o privity_n of_o he_o or_o their_o master_n or_o master_n than_o such_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n clerk_n or_o clerk_n only_o shall_v be_v liable_a to_o such_o action_n damage_n and_o cost_v as_o aforesaid_a and_o be_v for_o ever_o after_o uncapable_a of_o serve_v or_o bear_v office_n in_o any_o mint_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n provide_v always_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v interpret_v any_o undue_a preference_n to_o incur_v any_o penalty_n in_o point_n of_o delivery_n of_o money_n coin_v if_o the_o officer_n or_o officer_n preference_n what_o shall_v not_o be_v a_o undue_a preference_n or_o their_o deputy_n or_o clerk_n shall_v deliver_v out_o or_o pay_v any_o money_n coin_v to_o any_o person_n or_o person_n that_o do_v come_v and_o demand_v the_o same_o upon_o subsequent_a entry_n before_o other_o that_o do_v not_o come_v to_o demand_v their_o money_n in_o their_o order_n and_o course_n so_o as_o there_o be_v so_o much_o money_n reserve_v as_o will_v satisfy_v they_o which_o shall_v not_o be_v otherwise_o dispose_v of_o but_o keep_v for_o they_o and_o for_o the_o more_o orderly_a and_o clear_a performance_n thereof_o be_v it_o enact_v and_o it_o be_v hereby_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o master-worker_n of_o his_o majesty_n mint_n or_o mint_n for_o the_o time_n be_v shall_v at_o the_o time_n of_o the_o delivery_n and_o entry_n of_o any_o gold_n or_o silver_n in_o the_o say_a mint_n or_o mint_n give_v unto_o the_o bringer_n or_o bringer_n in_o thereof_o to_o be_v coin_v a_o bill_n under_o his_o hand_n denote_v the_o weight_n fineness_n and_o value_v thereof_o together_o with_o the_o day_n and_o order_n of_o its_o delivery_n into_o the_o say_a mint_n or_o mint_n and_o for_o the_o further_a encouragement_n and_o assurance_n of_o such_o as_o shall_v bring_v any_o gold_n or_o silver_n into_o his_o majesty_n say_a mint_n or_o mint_n to_o be_v coin_v be_v it_o enact_v coin_a there_o shall_v be_v no_o seizure_n or_o forfeiture_n etc._n etc._n of_o any_o gold_n or_o silver_n bring_v in_o to_o be_v coin_a and_o it_o be_v hereby_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o no_o confiscation_n forfeiture_n seizure_n attachment_n stop_v or_o restraint_n whatsoever_o shall_v be_v make_v in_o the_o say_a mint_n or_o mint_n of_o any_o gold_n or_o silver_n bring_v in_o to_o be_v coin_v for_o or_o by_o reason_n of_o any_o embargo_n breach_n of_o the_o peace_n letter_n of_o mart_n or_o reprisal_n or_o war_n with_o any_o foreign_a nation_n or_o upon_o any_o other_o account_n or_o pretence_n whatsoever_o but_o that_o all_o gold_n and_o silver_n bring_v into_o any_o of_o his_o majesty_n mint_n or_o mint_n within_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n to_o be_v coin_v shall_v true_o and_o with_o all_o convenient_a speed_n be_v coin_v and_o deliver_v out_o to_o the_o respective_a bringer_n or_o bringer_n in_o thereof_o their_o executor_n administrator_n or_o assign_v according_a to_o the_o rule_n and_o direction_n of_o this_o act._n and_o whereas_o it_o can_v be_v reasonable_o expect_v that_o the_o expense_n waste_v and_o charge_v in_o assay_v melt_v down_o and_o coinage_n be_v bear_v by_o your_o majesty_n and_o for_o the_o further_a encouragement_n of_o coinage_n be_v it_o enact_v and_o it_o be_v hereby_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a import_v a_o imposition_n set_v upon_o wine_n vinegar_n cider_n or_o beer_n import_v that_o for_o every_o tun_n of_o wine_n vinegar_n cider_n or_o béer_o that_o shall_v be_v import_v or_o bring_v into_o the_o port_n of_o london_n or_o into_o any_o other_o port_n créek_v or_o place_n within_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n dominion_n of_o wales_n or_o from_o all_o other_o money_n by_o they_o collect_v and_o levy_v upon_o the_o same_o commodity_n or_o upon_o any_o other_o commodity_n or_o merchandize_n whatsoever_o and_o to_o be_v by_o the_o say_a collector_n or_o collector_n respective_o so_o answer_v and_o pay_v quarterly_o into_o the_o receipt_n of_o the_o exchequer_n of_o your_o majesty_n your_o heir_n and_o successor_n there_o also_o to_o be_v keep_v distinct_a and_o apart_o from_o all_o other_o money_n arise_v by_o the_o custom_n or_o by_o any_o other_o way_n or_o revenue_n whatsoever_o which_o say_v duty_n they_o be_v hereby_o enjoin_v to_o receive_v and_o pay_v according_a to_o the_o several_a direction_n of_o this_o act_n without_o any_o salary_n or_o fee_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v and_o declare_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o manner_n of_o wine_n vinegar_n cider_n béer_o brandy-wine_n and_o strong-water_n import_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v pay_v their_o several_a and_o respective_a duty_n impose_v by_o this_o act_n and_o upon_o nonpayment_n thereof_o shall_v be_v liable_a to_o such_o and_o the_o same_o pain_n penalty_n and_o forfeiture_n as_o in_o and_o by_o the_o late_a act_n for_o tonnage_n and_o poundage_n and_o for_o fraud_n be_v enact_v and_o appoint_v upon_o nonpayment_n of_o the_o duty_n by_o the_o say_a act_n impose_v upon_o good_n and_o merchandise_n of_o the_o same_o nature_n with_o those_o mention_v in_o this_o act._n provide_v always_o and_o it_o be_v hereby_o enact_v that_o for_o what_o of_o the_o aforesaid_a commodity_n shall_v be_v transport_v into_o any_o part_n beyond_o the_o sea_n within_o the_o term_n and_o space_n of_o one_o year_n after_o the_o importation_n thereof_o that_o the_o duty_n pay_v by_o this_o act_n for_o the_o same_o shall_v be_v repay_v by_o the_o respective_a collector_n of_o the_o custom_n for_o the_o time_n be_v and_o it_o be_v hereby_o further_o enact_v that_o no_o money_n leviable_a and_o payable_a by_o this_o act_n shall_v be_v apply_v or_o convert_v to_o any_o use_n or_o use_n whatsoever_o mint_n money_n leviable_a upon_o this_o act_n shall_v be_v employ_v only_o to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o mint_n other_o then_o to_o the_o defray_v the_o charge_n or_o expense_n of_o the_o mint_n or_o mint_n and_o of_o the_o assay_v melt_v down_o waste_v and_o coinage_n of_o gold_n and_o silver_n and_o the_o encouragement_n of_o the_o bring_n in_o of_o gold_n and_o silver_n into_o the_o say_a mint_n or_o mint_n there_o to_o be_v coin_v into_o the_o current_a coin_n of_o this_o kingdom_n nor_o shall_v
