they_o so_o in_o the_o 17._o of_o jere._n 11._o verse_n as_o the_o partridge_n sit_v on_o egg_n and_o hatch_v they_o not_o so_o he_o that_o get_v riches_n and_o not_o by_o right_a shall_v leave_v they_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o day_n and_o at_o his_o end_n shall_v be_v a_o fool_n he_o applaud_v himself_o for_o the_o present_a in_o what_o he_o have_v get_v but_o at_o the_o end_n he_o therefore_o we_o must_v now_o propound_v those_o thing_n that_o may_v help_v to_o take_v off_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n from_o the_o earth_n eleven_o consideration_n to_o take_v off_o man_n heart_n from_o earthly-mindedness_a first_o consider_v this_o that_o all_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o earth_n that_o thy_o mind_n and_o heart_n be_v upon_o if_o thou_o can_v possess_v they_o all_o as_o thy_o own_o yet_o there_o be_v not_o so_o much_o good_a in_o they_o as_o to_o countervail_v the_o evil_n of_o the_o least_o sin_n not_o of_o the_o least_o sin_n of_o thought_n thy_o heart_n be_v mudling_a upon_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o think_v that_o thou_o shall_v be_v blessed_v if_o thou_o bid_v thus_o and_o thus_o as_o other_o have_v let_v i_o tell_v thou_o if_o thou_o have_v but_o mind_v and_o plod_v about_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o earth_n that_o be_v one_o consideration_n a_o second_o consideration_n a_o second_o be_v this_o that_o may_v take_v off_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n from_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o earth_n that_o the_o chief_a thing_n that_o be_v in_o the_o earth_n yea_o name_n what_o terrene_a excellency_n possible_o a_o man_n may_v be_v crown_v with_o under_o heaven_n have_v be_v the_o portion_n of_o reprobate_n heretofore_o and_o be_v to_o this_o day_n and_o shall_v be_v the_o portion_n of_o multitude_n who_o god_n hate_v and_o have_v set_v apart_o to_o glorify_v his_o infinite_a justice_n upon_o eternal_o shall_v thy_o mind_n and_o heart_n be_v set_v upon_o such_o thing_n as_o be_v the_o portion_n of_o reprobate_n will_v a_o reprobate_n portion_n content_v thou_o will_v it_o serve_v thou_o be_v thou_o satisfy_v with_o dog_n meat_n if_o it_o will_v not_o content_v thou_o why_o be_v it_o that_o thy_o mind_n be_v so_o much_o upon_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o earth_n it_o may_v be_v thou_o that_o be_v poor_a and_o mean_a in_o the_o world_n thy_o mind_n be_v upon_o some_o little_a matter_n thou_o can_v never_o expect_v to_o have_v any_o great_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n and_o yet_o thou_o mind_v they_o as_o if_o that_o there_o be_v thy_o portion_n and_o thy_o happiness_n some_o small_a pittance_n to_o furnish_v thy_o house_n to_o provide_v for_o thyself_o and_o thy_o poor_a family_n oh_o friend_n if_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o thou_o to_o get_v the_o empire_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n under_o thy_o foot_n yet_o thou_o shall_v get_v no_o more_o than_o have_v be_v the_o portion_n of_o such_o as_o god_n have_v hate_v and_o if_o so_o be_v that_o kingdom_n and_o empire_n have_v be_v the_o portion_n of_o reprobate_n why_o do_v thou_o
