the_o bishop_n and_o be_v now_o at_o a_o point_n to_o be_v deliver_v out_o of_o this_o world_n it_o so_o happen_v that_o two_o or_o three_o day_n before_o his_o hart_n be_v lumpish_a and_o desolate_a of_o all_o spiritual_a consolation_n feel_v in_o himself_o no_o aptness_n nor_o willingness_n but_o rather_o a_o heaviness_n and_o dulness_n of_o spirit_n comfort_n full_a of_o much_o discomfort_n to_o bear_v that_o bitter_a cross_n of_o martyrdom_n ready_a now_o to_o be_v lay_v upon_o he_o whereupon_o he_o fear_v in_o himself_o lest_o the_o lord_n have_v utter_o withdraw_v his_o wont_a favour_n from_o he_o make_v his_o moan_n to_o this_o austen_n his_o friend_n above_o remember_v signify_v unto_o he_o how_o earnest_o he_o have_v pray_v day_n and_o night_n unto_o the_o lord_n and_o yet_o can_v receive_v no_o motion_n nor_o sense_n of_o any_o comfort_n from_o he_o unto_o who_o the_o say_v austen_n answer_v again_o will_v and_o desire_v he_o patient_o to_o wait_v the_o lord_n pleasure_n and_o how_o so_o ever_o his_o present_a feel_v be_v yet_o see_v his_o cause_n be_v just_a and_o true_a he_o exhort_v he_o constant_o to_o stick_v to_o the_o same_o &_o to_o play_v the_o man_n seruant●_n nothing_o misdoubt_v but_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o good_a time_n will_v visit_v he_o and_o satisfy_v his_o desire_n with_o plenty_n of_o consolation_n whereof_o he_o say_v he_o be_v right_o certain_a and_o sure_a &_o therefore_o desire_v he_o when_o so_o ever_o any_o such_o feel_n of_o god_n heavenly_a mercy_n shall_v begin_v to_o touch_v his_o hart_n that_o then_o he_o will_v show_v some_o signification_n thereof_o whereby_o he_o may_v witness_v with_o he_o the_o same_o and_o so_o depart_v from_o he_o the_o next_o day_n when_o the_o time_n come_v of_o his_o martyrdom_n as_o he_o be_v go_v to_o the_o place_n and_o be_v now_o come_v to_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o stake_n although_o all_o the_o night_n before_o pray_v for_o strength_n and_o courage_n he_o can_v feel_v none_o sudden_o he_o be_v so_o mighty_o replenish_v with_o god_n holy_a comfort_n and_o heavenly_a joy_n that_o he_o cry_v out_o clap_v his_o hand_n to_o austen_n &_o say_v in_o these_o word_n austen_n he_o be_v come_v he_o be_v come_v lord_n etc._n etc._n &_o that_o with_o such_o joy_n and_o alacrity_n as_o one_o seem_v rather_o to_o be_v rise_v from_o some_o deadly_a
