they_o my_o people_n which_o be_v not_o my_o people_n and_o her_o belove_a which_o be_v not_o belove_v annot._n this_o verse_n be_v a_o repetition_n of_o i_o prophecy_n of_o the_o call_n and_o choice_n of_o the_o gentile_n through_o say_v as_o if_o the_o apostle_n shall_v have_v say_v you_o house_n of_o israel_n think_v it_o not_o strange_a that_o the_o gentile_n shall_v be_v heir_n of_o from_o the_o next_o verse_n which_o be_v as_o follow_v verse_n 26._o and_o it_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o in_o the_o place_n where_o it_o be_v say_v unto_o they_o you_o be_v not_o my_o people_n there_o shall_v they_o be_v call_v the_o child_n of_o the_o live_a god_n annot._n from_o whence_o we_o may_v see_v that_o the_o whole_a scope_n of_o the_o apostle_n discourse_n in_o this_o chapter_n be_v to_o prove_v that_o although_o the_o jew_n be_v the_o elder_a people_n according_a to_o the_o denomination_n of_o god_n in_o reference_n to_o the_o gentile_n which_o be_v the_o young_a or_o prodigal_a son_n and_o for_o a_o time_n without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n yet_o god_n have_v a_o appoint_a time_n to_o call_v they_o through_o his_o grace_n in_o the_o gospel_n unto_o sonship_n and_o also_o to_o cast_v off_o the_o jew_n for_o their_o rebellion_n the_o which_o be_v account_v the_o elder_a brother_n which_o always_o do_v abide_v in_o their_o father_n house_n the_o which_o will_v appear_v more_o plain_o in_o the_o next_o verse_n which_o be_v thus_o read_v verse_n 27._o isaiah_n also_o cry_v concern_v israel_n though_o the_o number_n of_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n be_v as_o the_o sand_n on_o the_o sea_n a_o remnant_n of_o they_o shall_v be_v save_v annot._n from_o this_o verse_n we_o may_v learn_v that_o god_n be_v righteous_a in_o all_o his_o way_n and_o will_v by_o no_o mean_n clear_v the_o guilty_a although_o his_o mercy_n be_v extend_v to_o thousand_o that_o love_n he_o and_o keep_v his_o commandment_n but_o if_o they_o forsake_v he_o although_o they_o be_v the_o dear_o belove_v of_o his_o soul_n he_o will_v give_v they_o into_o the_o hand_n of_o their_o enemy_n and_o call_v his_o servant_n by_o another_o name_n hence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o god_n cast_v off_o the_o rebellious_a son_n of_o the_o house_n of_o israel_n and_o choose_v the_o humble_a among_o they_o together_o with_o the_o penitent_a believe_a gentile_n and_o call_v they_o by_o another_o name_n viz._n the_o child_n of_o god_n by_o faith_n in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o this_o be_v god_n determination_n that_o in_o isaac_n the_o seed_n shall_v be_v call_v and_o thus_o in_o his_o wisdom_n and_o power_n he_o make_v some_o of_o the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n vessel_n to_o honour_n even_o such_o as_o be_v obedient_a to_o the_o voice_n of_o his_o call_v through_o christ_n &_o other_o of_o the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n he_o make_v vessel_n to_o dishonour_v even_o such_o as_o do_v reject_v his_o call_n and_o say_v we_o will_v not_o come_v 22.3_o come_v mat._n 22.3_o but_o we_o will_v walk_v every_o one_o in_o the_o imagination_n of_o our_o heart_n and_o be_v stubborn_a before_o the_o lord_n so_o then_o as_o the_o potter_n have_v power_n to_o choose_v out_o of_o his_o lump_n of_o clay_n that_o which_o be_v flexble_a and_o yield_a to_o be_v
