learn_v 1._o the_o visible_a church_n not_o entertain_v communion_n with_o god_n nor_o emprove_n her_o spiritual_a advantage_n may_v fall_v into_o provocation_n nothing_o inferior_a for_o number_n and_o heinousness_n to_o the_o iniquity_n of_o nation_n about_o she_o for_o there_o be_v also_o three_o transgression_n of_o judah_n and_o four_o as_o if_o they_o have_v strive_v with_o the_o profane_a nation_n to_o have_v as_o many_o and_o gross_a sin_n as_o they_o 2._o if_o god_n do_v not_o spare_v heathen_n who_o sin_n without_o law_n and_o have_v but_o little_a knowledge_n of_o god_n or_o his_o will_n far_o less_o will_v he_o spare_v his_o people_n who_o be_v as_o lewd_a as_o they_o therefore_o be_v that_o same_o sentence_n just_o pronounce_v against_o judah_n for_o the_o three_o transgression_n of_o judah_n and_o for_o four_o i_o will_v not_o turn_v away_o the_o punishment_n thereof_o 3._o the_o contempt_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v the_o great_a sin_n of_o the_o church_n comparable_a to_o the_o heinous_a debording_n of_o other_o as_o be_v a_o great_a sin_n of_o itself_o to_o contemn_v the_o authority_n of_o the_o great_a lord_n and_o the_o great_a mercy_n offer_v to_o themselves_o upon_o obedience_n to_o his_o word_n and_o a_o sad_a aggravation_n of_o all_o their_o other_o transgression_n therefore_o in_o place_n of_o the_o atrocious_a crime_n lay_v to_o the_o charge_n of_o heathen_n judah_n be_v in_o particular_a challenge_v for_o this_o because_o they_o have_v despise_v the_o law_n of_o the_o lord_n 4._o when_o man_n do_v not_o make_v conscience_n of_o keep_v close_o by_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n in_o their_o conversation_n and_o worship_n but_o do_v walk_v as_o they_o listen_v and_o do_v corrupt_a religion_n by_o their_o device_n god_n do_v just_o reckon_v that_o to_o be_v a_o contempt_n of_o his_o word_n therefore_o it_o be_v subjoined_n by_o way_n of_o confirmation_n and_o explication_n of_o the_o former_a challenge_n and_o have_v not_o keep_v his_o commandment_n for_o albeit_o man_n may_v profess_v a_o respect_n to_o the_o word_n when_o yet_o their_o carriage_n be_v loose_a and_o they_o dare_v follow_v their_o one_o device_n in_o the_o matter_n of_o religion_n yet_o such_o practice_n be_v upon_o the_o matter_n a_o contempt_n of_o it_o and_o it_o will_v come_v at_o last_o to_o a_o express_a contempt_n for_o when_o the_o word_n inculcate_n their_o duty_n upon_o they_o and_o yet_o they_o resolve_v to_o go_v on_o they_o can_v but_o at_o last_o loath_a and_o hate_v it_o 5_o albeit_o man_n will_v not_o want_v pretext_n and_o shift_n to_o palliate_v their_o ill_a course_n and_o harden_v they_o in_o they_o notwithstanding_o the_o admonition_n of_o the_o word_n yet_o all_o these_o be_v but_o deceive_a lie_n and_o snare_n to_o mislead_v they_o and_o will_v be_v so_o far_o from_o justify_v a_o sinful_a course_n that_o they_o heighten_v god_n quarrel_n against_o it_o and_o against_o sinner_n because_o of_o it_o for_o it_o be_v add_v as_o a_o part_n of_o the_o quarrel_n and_o their_o lie_n cause_v they_o to_o err_v where_o by_o lie_v i_o do_v not_o so_o much_o understand_v their_o idol_n and_o fair_a expectation_n in_o serve_v they_o which_o do_v draw_v they_o away_o as_o their_o pretence_n and_o excuse_n whereof_o they_o want_v not_o abundance_n and_o that_o be_v a_o
