xi_o other_o there_o be_v who_o will_v severe_a these_o clause_n whilst_o they_o will_v glad_o say_v to_o die_v be_v gain_n but_o not_o to_o live_v be_v christ_n one_o be_v ask_v whether_o he_o have_v rather_o be_v croesus_n or_o socrates_n his_o answer_n be_v he_o will_v be_v rich_a croesus_n in_o his_o life_n and_o good_a socrates_n at_o his_o death_n you_o know_v who_o prayer_n it_o be_v numb_a themselves_o death_n be_v a_o loss_n but_o to_o those_o that_o live_v to_o christ_n it_o be_v a_o gain_n adrian_n be_v wont_a to_o say_v that_o death_n be_v the_o rich_a man_n fear_n and_o the_o poor_a man_n desire_n and_o this_o i_o may_v well_o apply_v here_o death_n either_o be_v or_o may_v be_v the_o bad_a man_n fear_n but_o the_o good_a man_n wish_n or_o to_o use_v st._n ambrose_n his_o expression_n it_o be_v a_o haven_n to_o the_o just_a but_o a_o shipwreck_n to_o the_o guilty_a to_o the_o good_a a_o bed_n of_o repose_n but_o to_o the_o wicked_a a_o rack_n of_o torture_n the_o man_n who_o live_v to_o the_o world_n say_v to_o death_n as_o ahab_n to_o elijah_n 1_o king_n 21.20_o have_v thou_o find_v i_o oh_o my_o enemy_n but_o he_o who_o live_v to_o christ_n may_v say_v to_o it_o as_o david_n of_o ahimaz_n 2_o sam._n 18.27_o it_o come_v with_o good_a tiding_n xiii_o and_o now_o will_v you_o on_o the_o one_o hand_n see_v the_o reason_n why_o you_o be_v so_o fearful_a of_o for_o those_o fear_n of_o death_n it_o be_v not_o without_o reason_n that_o st._n paul_n say_v 1_o cor._n 15.56_o the_o sting_n of_o death_n be_v sin_n since_o death_n be_v only_o venomous_a and_o deadly_a to_o they_o who_o live_v in_o sin_n on_o the_o other_o hand_n will_v you_o see_v the_o way_n to_o a_o joyful_a end_n will_v you_o have_v comfort_n in_o and_o gain_n after_o death_n oh_o let_v it_o be_v your_o study_n to_o live_v to_o christ_n it_o be_v our_o saviour_n counsel_n to_o his_o disciple_n mat._n 6.25_o take_v no_o thought_n for_o your_o life_n let_v i_o alter_v it_o a_o little_a take_v no_o thought_n for_o your_o death_n but_o for_o your_o life_n let_v your_o care_n be_v to_o advance_v christ_n in_o your_o life_n and_o it_o will_v be_v his_o care_n to_o confer_v the_o gain_n
