write_v to_o timothy_n about_o prayer_n in_o general_a and_o prescribe_v no_o form_n of_o prayer_n it_o be_v therefore_o just_o argue_v that_o we_o be_v to_o use_v no_o set_a form_n of_o prayer_n at_o all_o so_o the_o same_o apostle_n exhort_v the_o church_n to_o sing_v and_o not_o prescribe_v any_o form_n of_o psalm_n hence_o it_o follow_v that_o he_o allow_v not_o the_o sing_n of_o david_n for_o worship_n do_v never_o forbid_v himself_o to_o devise_v and_o appoint_v for_o we_o what_o form_n of_o worship_n himself_o please_v either_o in_o the_o old_a testament_n or_o in_o the_o new_a and_o some_o of_o those_o scripture_n prove_v also_o that_o they_o who_o have_v receive_v any_o gift_n though_o outward_a gift_n of_o wealth_n and_o honour_n shall_v improve_v and_o employ_v they_o to_o the_o good_a of_o the_o church_n but_o none_o of_o they_o prove_v that_o all_o the_o edification_n of_o the_o church_n shall_v be_v carry_v on_o by_o the_o personal_a and_o proper_a gift_n of_o the_o present_a member_n of_o the_o church_n for_o than_o the_o church_n shall_v not_o be_v edify_v now_o in_o these_o day_n by_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o penman_n of_o scripture_n whether_o apostle_n prophet_n or_o evangelist_n which_o be_v express_o repugnant_a to_o some_o of_o the_o scripture_n allege_v by_o you_o for_o in_o eph._n 4.8_o to_o 13._o and_o in_o 1_o cor._n 12._o it_o be_v express_o
