suppose_v he_o to_o be_v forsake_v of_o his_o brand_n we_o may_v allege_v some_o example_n even_o of_o our_o time_n but_o that_o if_o will_v be_v think_v a_o odious_a matter_n to_o touch_v by_o name_n the_o misery_n &_o infelicity_n of_o any_o and_o saul_n and_o such_o like_a do_v then_o first_o of_o all_o begin_v to_o quail_v when_o as_o become_v irksome_a to_o every_o one_o they_o grow_v into_o contempt_n and_o be_v forsake_v of_o all_o their_o subject_n as_o saul_n also_o himself_o i._n sam._n 22._o complain_v that_o all_o man_n have_v conspire_v against_o he_o and_o cling_v rather_o to_o and_o society_n of_o man_n know_v unto_o they_o and_o he_o do_v no_o less_o gallant_o in_o the_o other_o part_n lie_v forth_o every_o thing_n touch_v the_o deliverance_n and_o exaltation_n of_o the_o poor_a and_o it_o be_v a_o very_a fine_a resemblance_n or_o similitude_n wherein_o he_o say_v that_o he_o make_v they_o family_n like_o a_o flock_n of_o sheep_n he_o signify_v by_o this_o similitude_n that_o they_o which_o be_v late_o abject_n and_o outcast_n be_v now_o promote_v and_o enlarge_v and_o not_o only_o they_o themselves_o advance_v to_o honour_n but_o also_o that_o their_o whole_a family_n do_v grow_v up_o and_o spread_v abroad_o no_o otherwise_o then_o flock_n of_o sheep_n be_v wont_v to_o increase_v which_o continual_o through_o one_o supply_n of_o young_a one_o follow_v a_o other_o be_v multiply_v &_o increase_v which_o increasement_n and_o multiplication_n ought_v to_o be_v number_v amongst_o the_o excellent_a blessing_n of_o god_n and_o what_o thing_n more_o notable_a or_o glorious_a can_v be_v speak_v of_o any_o than_o that_o a_o man_n by_o his_o own_o proper_a virtue_n mount_v to_o high_a estate_n and_o beside_o make_v his_o whole_a house_n and_o family_n more_o noble_a and_o famous_a as_o david_n ennoble_v and_o commend_v to_o his_o whole_a posterity_n the_o family_n of_o jesse_n and_o tribe_n of_o juda_n etc._n etc._n and_o there_o be_v also_o manifold_a doctrine_n propound_v unto_o we_o in_o this_o example_n 1_o we_o learn_v that_o riches_n power_n dignity_n principality_n and_o whatsoever_o else_o be_v of_o this_o sort_n be_v give_v only_o and_o alone_o of_o god_n 2_o that_o none_o be_v place_v in_o so_o high_a a_o degree_n but_o that_o they_o be_v in_o danger_n of_o fall_v and_o be_v at_o all_o time_n to_o fear_n and_o suspect_v the_o same_o 3_o that_o we_o be_v never_o at_o any_o time_n to_o stay_v upon_o the_o unstable_a thing_n of_o this_o world_n but_o only_o upon_o god_n in_o who_o hand_n be_v all_o thing_n and_o who_o wise_o rule_v and_o order_v all_o thing_n 4_o that_o the_o first_o step_n to_o ruin_n and_o overthrow_v in_o great_a man_n be_v if_o they_o begin_v once_o to_o be_v contemn_v of_o their_o subject_n or_o ally_n 5_o and_o certain_a it_o be_v that_o this_o very_a contempt_n come_v to_o pass_v by_o the_o will_n or_o procurement_n of_o god_n for_o sin_n god_n so_o move_v the_o heart_n of_o man_n as_o he_o move_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o israelite_n to_o forsake_v saul_n 6_o that_o there_o follow_v this_o contempt_n many_o other_o danger_n and_o discommodity_n as_o flight_n bannishment_n etc._n etc._n after_o which_o sort_n also_o we_o have_v see_v prince_n to_o be_v cast_v out_o by_o their_o subject_n compel_v to_o wander_v and_o stray_n to_o and_o fro_o to_o live_v of_o other_o man_n devotion_n etc._n etc._n final_o also_o to_o despair_v 7_o wherefore_o that_o prince_n and_o great_a estate_n ought_v to_o labour_v and_o endeavour_n that_o they_o may_v rather_o of_o their_o commons_o be_v belove_v then_o fear_v 8_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n subject_n ought_v to_o know_v that_o they_o be_v not_o for_o small_a cause_n to_o contemn_v or_o forsake_v the_o magistrate_n until_o by_o the_o singular_a example_n for_o the_o prophet_n meaning_n in_o this_o verse_n be_v that_o all_o sort_n of_o man_n as_o well_o good_a as_o bad_a shall_v be_v stir_v up_o by_o the_o consideration_n of_o such_o alteration_n in_o man_n matter_n to_o take_v thereby_o some_o wholesome_a doctrine_n to_o the_o profitable_a instruction_n of_o their_o conscience_n and_o he_o will_v have_v the_o godly_a to_o rejoice_v but_o the_o wicked_a to_o be_v terrify_v and_o induce_v to_o humility_n he_o say_v all_o iniquity_n for_o all_o the_o woorker_n of_o iniquity_n by_o the_o figure_n a●tonomasia_fw-la
