and_o send_v he_o away_o without_o do_v any_o harm_n to_o his_o people_n morever_o he_o do_v thus_o use_v variety_n of_o judgement_n and_o manner_n of_o working_n to_o comfort_v his_o own_o people_n who_o otherways_o because_o of_o many_o exigence_n they_o be_v bring_v into_o will_v not_o know_v which_o way_n to_o turn_v themselves_o to_o look_v for_o safety_n for_o many_o time_n his_o church_n and_o people_n be_v so_o beset_v about_o with_o enemy_n and_o cruel_a tyrant_n that_o there_o be_v not_o the_o least_o hope_n of_o deliverance_n leave_v unto_o they_o to_o man_n think_v but_o only_o that_o they_o trust_v in_o the_o lord_n know_v that_o he_o be_v both_o able_a and_o know_v how_o to_o deliver_v they_o notwithstanding_o of_o all_o their_o foe_n in_o this_o distress_n be_v the_o israelite_n at_o the_o red_a sea_n which_o way_n to_o betake_v themselves_o they_o know_v not_o to_o the_o sight_n of_o man_n there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o safety_n for_o they_o 14.13_o exod._n 14.13_o yet_o moses_n who_o know_v that_o god_n have_v more_o way_n than_o one_o to_o destroy_v their_o enemy_n and_o deliver_v they_o comfort_v they_o and_o bid_v they_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o at_o all_o to_o withstand_v they_o all_o that_o he_o and_o his_o people_n can_v do_v be_v to_o lift_v up_o their_o eye_n to_o heaven_n weak_a strength_n to_o make_v resistance_n to_o such_o a_o army_n 20.12_o 2_o cro._n 20.12_o to_o any_o man_n think_v know_v that_o the_o lord_n be_v able_a and_o know_v how_o to_o work_v their_o deliverance_n though_o they_o know_v not_o and_o so_o do_v god_n work_v for_o they_o and_o send_v a_o spirit_n of_o disunity_n among_o their_o enemy_n whereby_o they_o destroy_v one_o another_o 25._o 2_o chro._n 20.23_o 24_o 25._o and_o leave_v no_o other_o service_n for_o they_o to_o perform_v then_o to_o gather_v the_o spoil_n so_o gracious_o work_v for_o their_o good_a by_o such_o mean_n as_o they_o think_v not_o of_o and_o not_o only_o to_o comfort_v his_o people_n but_o to_o keep_v they_o in_o awful_a reverence_n towards_o he_o for_o the_o dear_a of_o god_n child_n will_v go_v neâ—r_n to_o forget_v he_o if_o he_o do_v not_o sometime_o put_v they_o in_o mind_n of_o their_o duty_n by_o correct_v they_o by_o sundry_a sort_n of_o correction_n 8.2_o deut._n 8.2_o thus_o he_o deal_v with_o the_o israelite_n in_o the_o wilderness_n they_o be_v afflict_v with_o hunger_n and_o have_v no_o other_o bread_n but_o what_o the_o lord_n give_v they_o from_o heaven_n 3._o ver._n 3._o that_o they_o may_v know_v that_o man_n live_v not_o by_o bread_n alone_o but_o by_o every_o word_n that_o proceed_v out_o of_o the_o mouth_n of_o the_o lord_n 15._o ver._n 15._o and_o he_o lead_v they_o through_o the_o bypath_n of_o the_o wilderness_n into_o place_n where_o they_o know_v not_o which_o way_n to_o take_v or_o whither_o to_o go_v 16._o ver._n 16._o and_o deprive_v they_o of_o water_n and_o affright_v they_o with_o fiery_a serpent_n etc._n etc._n and_o all_o this_o he_o do_v to_o humble_v they_o and_o to_o prove_v they_o and_o to_o keep_v they_o in_o obedience_n to_o he_o who_o other_o way_n perhaps_o will_v have_v forget_v he_o and_o have_v attribute_v all_o to_o their_o own_o power_n and_o strength_n for_o this_o all_o man_n be_v prone_a to_o do_v and_o therefore_o do_v he_o always_o exercise_v they_o in_o affliction_n that_o they_o may_v be_v ever_o more_o ready_a to_o under_o go_v patient_o what_o ever_o they_o shall_v endure_v and_o may_v in_o what_o state_n soever_o they_o bâ—_n learn_v to_o be_v content_a and_o that_o they_o may_v continual_o watch_v because_o they_o know_v not_o either_o in_o what_o hour_n or_o in_o what_o manner_n he_o will_v send_v affliction_n upon_o they_o again_o he_o use_v variety_n of_o punishment_n that_o none_o may_v through_o any_o policy_n know_v which_o way_n to_o escape_v his_o hand_n man_n who_o be_v always_o careful_a to_o free_v himself_o from_o that_o whiâ—hiâ—e_n think_v be_v troublesome_a purpose_n see_v gen_n 11.3_o 4_o 5_o 6_o 7_o 8_o to_o this_o purpose_n invent_v many_o way_n and_o mean_n to_o provide_v for_o his_o own_o safety_n nature_n be_v always_o sâ—â—â—ions_n to_o preserve_v itself_o and_o therefore_o we_o see_v how_o to_o sedâ—â—â—_n themselves_o against_o the_o stratagem_n of_o war_n man_n have_v 〈◊〉_d mean_v whereby_o they_o remain_v
