A mighty Man is not delivered by much Strength An Horse is a vain thing for Safety Is 8.8 Neither shall he deliver any by his great Strength There is no Man that hath power over the Spirit Eccl. 8.8 to retain the Spirit neither hath he power in the day of Death and there is no discharge or casting off Weapons in that War neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it O our God! 2 Chr. 20.12 wilt thou not judge them for we have no might against this great Company that cometh against us Neither know we what to do but our desires are upon thee VI. The Christian Soldier should place his Trust and Confidence on the Wisdom and Strength of Almighty God BE strong in the Lord Eph. 6.10 Job 12 13. and in the power of his Might with him is Wisdom and Strength he hath Counsel and Understanding The God of Israel is he that giveth Strength and Power unto his People Ps 68.35 Ps 46.1.5 God is our Refuge and Strength Ps 46.1.5 a very present help in Trouble God is in the midst of her she should not be moved
