it_o prove_v not_o incurable_a by_o continuance_n i_o make_v this_o seasonable_a application_n and_o first_o i_o admonish_v those_o who_o do_v not_o think_v themselves_o oblige_v to_o the_o use_n of_o those_o indifferent_a thing_n not_o to_o reject_v other_o who_o think_v themselves_o bind_v up_o in_o conscience_n to_o their_o observance_n but_o to_o receive_v they_o to_o their_o communion_n and_o not_o to_o quarrel_v with_o other_o man_n resolution_n and_o persuasion_n as_o to_o such_o thing_n but_o to_o direct_v their_o own_o life_n by_o what_o in_o conscience_n they_o be_v persuade_v be_v lawful_a or_o unlawful_a about_o such_o matter_n in_o case_n the_o thing_n indifferent_a in_o their_o nature_n be_v leave_v also_o indifferent_a in_o their_o use_n verse_n 2._o for_o he_o who_o be_v sufficient_o instruct_v in_o his_o christian_a liberty_n make_v use_n of_o his_o christian_a liberty_n and_o make_v no_o scruple_n at_o all_o about_o such_o thing_n neither_o do_v he_o place_v any_o religion_n in_o they_o further_o then_o to_o express_v his_o obedience_n to_o lawful_a superior_n which_o be_v not_o the_o least_o part_n of_o christian_a religion_n whereas_o he_o who_o be_v weak_a erroneous_a neither_o let_v the_o scrupulous_a and_o erroneous_a reject_v and_o cast_v out_o of_o his_o communion_n those_o who_o be_v better_a instruct_v in_o the_o nature_n of_o their_o christian_a liberty_n see_v god_n have_v admit_v they_o into_o his_o church_n and_o receive_v they_o as_o servant_n into_o his_o family_n verse_n 4._o and_o what_o commission_n can_v any_o pretend_v to_o judge_n as_o to_o the_o nature_n of_o meat_n and_o day_n which_o christian-law_n christian_n who_o right_o understand_v their_o christian_a liberty_n will_v cheerful_o obey_v certain_o when_o both_o side_n do_v what_o they_o do_v mere_o out_o of_o conscience_n and_o to_o do_v a_o thing_n please_v to_o god_n this_o be_v well_o do_v for_o no_o man_n be_v to_o do_v what_o himself_o like_v best_a but_o what_o he_o think_v to_o god_n be_v most_o acceptable_a verse_n 8._o for_o our_o life_n and_o death_n be_v very_o inconsiderable_a but_o as_o by_o they_o we_o may_v serve_v god_n so_o ought_v we_o by_o it_o which_o inconvenience_n must_v needs_o be_v very_o dangerous_a verse_n 9_o for_o though_o the_o be_v there_o or_o not_o be_v there_o be_v not_o of_o itself_o of_o any_o great_a moment_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n yet_o this_o care_n will_v befit_v every_o christian_a so_o to_o use_v his_o own_o liberty_n as_o not_o to_o be_v a_o occasion_n of_o sin_n or_o of_o continuance_n in_o sin_n to_o other_o by_o confirm_v they_o in_o their_o sinful_a course_n verse_n 10._o for_o if_o any_o man_n who_o through_o a_o erroneous_a conscience_n go_v to_o a_o idol-feast_n see_v another_o at_o the_o same_o feast_n who_o know_v within_o himself_o a_o idol_n to_o be_v nothing_o and_o eat_v not_o out_o of_o any_o religious_a opinion_n but_o only_o as_o of_o ordinary_a meat_n will_v not_o he_o by_o this_o mean_n be_v confirm_v to_o go_v on_o in_o his_o erroneous_a course_n verse_n 11._o so_o that_o the_o christian_a of_o a_o erroneous_a conscience_n shall_v go_v on_o in_o his_o sin_n and_o be_v in_o danger_n to_o be_v ruin_v by_o reason_n of_o the_o other_o practise_v who_o presume_v upon_o his_o knowledge_n and_o so_o go_v confident_o to_o the_o idol_n as_o a_o mere_a vanity_n and_o thing_n of_o nought_o not_o at_o all_o consider_v the_o erroneous_a conscience_n of_o his_o weak_a brother_n and_o so_o he_o make_v himself_o guilty_a not_o only_o of_o uncharitableness_n to_o his_o brother_n but_o of_o injury_n to_o christ_n in_o betray_v a_o soul_n to_o ruin_v for_o the_o save_n of_o which_o christ_n die_v verse_n 12._o and_o be_v it_o grant_v that_o for_o one_o who_o understand_v his_o christian_a liberty_n to_o be_v present_a at_o a_o idol-feast_n be_v not_o impiety_n against_o god_n yet_o be_v it_o a_o act_n of_o great_a uncharitableness_n against_o the_o weak_a brethren_n in_o bring_v they_o to_o a_o confirmation_n in_o those_o sinful_a practice_n wherein_o through_o error_n they_o be_v already_o and_o so_o it_o may_v be_v a_o impiety_n and_o sin_n against_o god_n too_o who_o be_v concern_v in_o they_o verse_n 13._o therefore_o if_o to_o eat_v a_o feast_n in_o a_o idol-temple_n or_o any_o use_n of_o my_o liberty_n in_o the_o same_o kind_n be_v a_o occasion_n of_o confirm_v any_o christian_n in_o a_o erroneous_a sinful_a practice_n or_o of_o bring_v he_o to_o do_v any_o thing_n which_o be_v unlawful_a i_o will_v be_v sure_a to_o deny_v myself_o
