be_v not_o a_o man_n woman_n or_o child_n among_o we_o but_o have_v its_o share_n &_o benefit_n from_o the_o creation_n as_o well_o as_o those_o jew_n have_v and_o therefore_o we_o in_o these_o day_n &_o all_o people_n to_o this_o world_n end_n have_v and_o shall_v have_v as_o good_a cause_n to_o keep_v a_o thankful_a remembrance_n of_o the_o creation_n as_o ever_o any_o nation_n or_o people_n have_v but_o if_o we_o join_v both_o these_o together_o as_o first_o that_o it_o be_v a_o duty_n lie_v upon_o we_o to_o magnify_v the_o name_n of_o god_n in_o this_o his_o so_o great_a a_o work_n of_o still_o to_o be_v in_o use_n if_o none_o other_o as_o fit_v may_v be_v find_v out_o but_o other_o as_o fit_v for_o that_o use_n may_v be_v find_v out_o as_o the_o lord_n day_n for_o herein_o we_o may_v keep_v a_o memory_n of_o the_o creation_n against_o this_o i_o have_v these_o reason_n 1._o the_o lord_n day_n or_o sunday_n be_v as_o unfit_a to_o keep_v memory_n of_o the_o creation_n as_o the_o sabbath_n day_n or_o saturday_n be_v in_o their_o account_n unfit_a to_o keep_v memory_n of_o the_o redemption_n 2._o the_o day_n which_o be_v set_v a_o part_n to_o celebrate_v the_o memory_n be_v the_o only_a fit_a day_n for_o this_o purpose_n now_o the_o lord_n day_n be_v so_o far_o from_o any_o similitude_n with_o god_n rest_v day_n which_o be_v on_o the_o seven_o &_o last_o day_n of_o the_o week_n genes_n 2_o 3._o as_o it_o be_v the_o first_o day_n &_o begin_n of_o the_o week_n 3._o suppose_v that_o man_n can_v invent_v some_o other_o day_n as_o fit_a as_o the_o seven_o day_n appoint_v by_o god_n will_v they_o reject_v god_n choice_n for_o one_o of_o their_o own_o can_v they_o show_v we_o some_o other_o day_n as_o fit_v in_o god_n account_n they_o shall_v speak_v to_o some_o purpose_n but_o to_o reject_v that_o mean_n appoint_v of_o god_n because_o they_o can_v find_v a_o other_o which_o please_v they_o as_o well_o be_v audaciouse_a presumption_n why_o by_o like_a reason_n may_v they_o not_o as_o well_o change_v the_o element_n in_o the_o sacrament_n for_o other_o as_o well_o may_v they_o reject_v christ_n choice_n as_o god_n choice_n but_o happy_o some_o may_v object_v that_o some_o help_n for_o the_o keep_n in_o memory_n of_o the_o creation_n be_v abolish_v as_o for_o example_n the_o sabbath_n day_n for_o all_o sabbath_n be_v abolish_v in_o col._n 2.16.17_o hereunto_o i_o answer_v that_o the_o folly_n of_o this_o objection_n have_v former_o be_v answer_v here_o therefore_o a_o word_n or_o two_o shall_v be_v fufficient_a 1._o it_o be_v to_o be_v the_o sabbath_n day_n and_o it_o be_v lawful_a for_o a_o man_n to_o work_v in_o quench_v of_o a_o fire_n on_o the_o sabbath_n day_n nevertheless_o a_o soft_a heart_n and_o tender_a conscience_n will_v be_v full_a of_o pricking_n in_o the_o time_n of_o his_o flight_n and_o whilst_o he_o be_v at_o work_n now_o the_o reason_n hereof_o be_v not_o because_o these_o his_o action_n be_v sinefull_a but_o because_o he_o do_v what_o he_o will_v not_o do_v upon_o this_o day_n if_o it_o can_v be_v avoid_v and_o because_o he_o neglect_v the_o special_a service_n of_o god_n all_o that_o time_n which_o he_o will_v much_o rather_o have_v be_v employ_v about_o furthermore_o david_n when_o he_o eat_v the_o sewbread_n it_o can_v not_o but_o grieve_v he_o that_o he_o be_v cast_v upon_o such_o necessity_n as_o that_o he_o must_v eat_v that_o which_o be_v not_o lawful_a for_o he_o to_o eat_v and_o david_n when_o he_o spare_v the_o life_n of_o joab_n which_o he_o shall_v have_v take_v away_o it_o can_v not_o but_o be_v a_o corzive_n to_o his_o conscience_n so_o often_o as_o he_o see_v that_o murderer_n live_v and_o the_o apostle_n when_o they_o observe_v those_o thing_n command_v in_o the_o ceremonial_a law_n in_o circumcise_n &_o shave_v the_o head_n and_o the_o like_a they_o know_v that_o these_o thing_n be_v abolish_v they_o can_v not_o but_o do_v it_o with_o check_v and_o unquiet_a conscience_n in_o some_o respect_n and_o yet_o these_o be_v not_o evil_a conscience_n nor_o these_o actiones_fw-la sin_n but_o they_o be_v mark_n of_o soften_a heart_n and_o tender_a conscience_n and_o so_o be_v it_o with_o the_o check_n in_o conscience_n which_o we_o can_v but_o have_v in_o some_o respect_n so_o often_o as_o we_o neglect_v the_o lord_n sabbath_n they_o be_v note_n of_o soft_a heart_n &_o tender_a conscience_n plain_o betray_v that_o we_o will_v much_o rather_o sanctify_v the_o lord_n sabbath_n if_o it_o be_v in_o our_o power_n furthermore_o whereas_o you_o ask_v i_o what_o you_o shall_v do_v in_o this_o case_n i_o answer_v even_o all_o you_o can_v do_v to_o the_o utmost_a of_o your_o power_n to_o get_v out_o of_o this_o necessity_n that_o so_o you_o may_v have_v your_o heart_n desire_v in_o sanctification_n of_o the_o lord_n sabbath_n for_o no_o man_n will_v lay_v still_o under_o a_o necessity_n any_o long_a than_o he_o needs_o must_v a_o poor_a man_n will_v get_v far_o as_o thin_a occationes_fw-la and_o cale_a will_v permit_v that_o so_o it_o may_v run_v from_o man_n to_o man_n till_o at_o length_n it_o may_v come_v unto_o the_o magistrate_n who_o office_n it_o be_v to_o make_v reformation_n and_o so_o to_o loosen_v thou_o from_o thy_o necessity_n of_o profane_v the_o lord_n sabbath_n any_o long_o indeed_o it_o be_v fit_a we_o shall_v have_v prick_v day_n have_v none_o as_o for_o itself_o now_o our_o new_a sabbatharian_n will_v not_o keep_v the_o lord_n day_n still_o in_o this_o sense_n but_o if_o they_o will_v take_v any_o advantage_n from_o our_o dispensation_n and_o from_o our_o keep_v the_o lord_n day_n with_o they_o they_o must_v keep_v it_o in_o this_o sense_n for_o in_o this_o sense_n the_o old_a sabbathatians_n do_v keep_v the_o lord_n day_n we_o honour_v the_o sabbath_n day_n as_o our_o king_n and_o we_o esteem_v the_o lord_n day_n in_o its_o room_n but_o as_o a_o deputy_n that_o for_o the_o time_n occupi_v the_o place_n of_o the_o king_n and_o who_o we_o honour_v not_o for_o his_o own_o sake_n but_o for_o the_o king_n who_o place_n he_o possess_v so_o we_o honour_v the_o lord_n day_n for_o the_o sabbath_n day_n sake_n which_o go_v last_o before_o the_o lord_n day_n and_o in_o room_n whereof_o the_o lord_n day_n stand_v as_o a_o deputy_n for_o the_o present_a necessity_n 2._o

teach_v they_o they_o can_v plead_v that_o christ_n can_v not_o convenient_o come_v at_o his_o disciple_n er_o enough_o in_o the_o morning_n to_o have_v mind_v they_o of_o it_o for_o he_o rise_v very_o er_o etc._n etc._n neither_o want_v he_o mean_v to_o have_v send_v they_o word_n of_o it_o for_o he_o send_v they_o word_n by_o mary_n magdalene_n that_o they_o shall_v go_v down_o into_o
