continuance_n of_o the_o present_a rebellion_n of_o our_o unnatural_a countryman_n and_o of_o the_o invasion_n from_o the_o irish_a and_o the_o great_a expense_n that_o they_o must_v sustain_v for_o suppress_v of_o the_o same_o and_o carry_v on_o of_o the_o war_n and_o how_o necessary_a and_o incumbent_a it_o be_v to_o they_o that_o some_o solid_a &_o settle_a way_n be_v provide_v for_o the_o constant_a maintenance_n of_o the_o force_n horse_n &_o foot_n have_v therefore_o conclude_v that_o six_o thousand_o foot_n twelve_o hundred_o horse_n two_o hundred_o and_o ten_o dragooner_n shall_v be_v entertain_v and_o keep_v upon_o pay_n towards_o the_o prosecution_n of_o the_o war_n against_o these_o rebel_n and_o invader_n until_o the_o same_o by_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o god_n of_o host_n he_o bring_v to_o a_o happy_a end_n have_v therefore_o think_v fit_a to_o statute_n and_o ordain_v like_a as_o for_o that_o effect_n they_o enact_v and_o ordain_v that_o ilk_fw-mi shire_n and_o burgh_n within_o this_o kingdom_n shall_v be_v liable_a and_o oblige_v in_o payment_n of_o the_o particular_a sum_n of_o money_n and_o that_o monthly_a and_o with_o the_o suspension_n underwritten_a for_o the_o entertainment_n of_o the_o force_n horse_n foot_n and_o dragooner_n above_o write_v and_o that_o for_o the_o space_n of_o nine_o month_n whereof_o the_o most_o part_n of_o the_o first_o month_n be_v already_o assign_v by_o a_o former_a act_n towards_o the_o payment_n of_o the_o regiment_n which_o serve_v at_o philip-hauch_a begin_v the_o first_o term_n payment_n from_o the_o ten_o of_o january_n last-by-past_a and_o so_o forth_o after_o the_o expire_a of_o that_o month_n to_o continue_v for_o other_o eight_o month_n thereafter_o until_o the_o ten_o of_o october_n next_o ensue_v but_o because_o the_o most_o part_n of_o that_o month_n maintenance_n be_v either_o assign_v or_o pay_v and_o that_o the_o force_n abovemention_v be_v ordain_v to_o pay_v all_o their_o entertainment_n and_o take_v no_o free_a quarter_n which_o the_o estate_n have_v ordain_v to_o be_v refound_v unto_o they_o at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o month_n after_o their_o engagement_n therefore_o it_o be_v statute_n and_o ordain_v that_o for_o payment_n of_o their_o by-gone_a month_n the_o shire_n and_o burrows_n shall_v ready_o pay_v and_o deliver_v to_o sir_n john_n weemes_n of_o bogie_n general_n commissar_n and_o collector_n of_o this_o kingdom_n who_o be_v hereby_o appoint_v to_o pay_v the_o regiment_n their_o several_a proportion_n of_o monthly_a maintenance_n according_a to_o the_o well_o of_o shire_n as_o parish_n and_o clerk_n of_o shire_n for_o that_o effect_n shall_v have_v such_o fee_n as_o be_v allow_v in_o the_o act_n of_o convention_n make_v anent_o the_o in-gathering_a of_o the_o loan_n and_o tax_v and_o that_o to_o be_v uplift_v out_o of_o the_o say_a shire_n and_o parish_n within_o the_o same_o by_z and_z attour_n the_o monthly_a maintenance_n and_o the_o burgh_n to_o be_v free_a in_o respect_n they_o collect_v their_o proportion_n upon_o their_o own_o charge_n and_o with_o power_n to_o the_o say_a general_n commissar_n and_o collector_n foresay_a to_o appoint_v a_o clerk_n of_o collection_n who_o he_o shall_v be_v please_v to_o nominate_v and_o for_o who_o he_o shall_v be_v answerable_a which_o clerk_n of_o collection_n so_o to_o be_v appoint_v for_o imlpement_n of_o every_o head_n and_o article_n thereof_o shall_v be_v raise_v and_o direct_a at_o the_o instance_n of_o the_o say_a sir_n john_n weymes_n general_n commissar_n and_o collector_n foresay_a against_o the_o subcollector_n of_o shire_n magistrate_n of_o burrows_n collector_n of_o parish_n heritor_n fewars_n liferenters_n and_o other_o adebt_v in_o payment_n of_o their_o several_a proportion_n of_o the_o maintenance_n now_o impose_v with_o reservation_n of_o the_o suspension_n underwritten_a in_o the_o same_o manner_n and_o with_o the_o same_o provision_n and_o certification_n
