he_o do_v think_v that_o he_o shall_v have_v merit_v some_o thing_n if_o he_o have_v fulfil_v this_o condition_n but_o out_o of_o pertinacy_n and_o stomach_n because_o his_o predecessor_n have_v more_o or_o out_o of_o the_o pride_n of_o his_o heart_n contemn_v this_o gift_n as_o too_o small_a and_o mean_a for_o a_o man_n of_o that_o worth_n which_o he_o take_v himself_o to_o be_v now_o the_o same_o be_v to_o be_v say_v concern_v eternal_a life_n which_o god_n offer_v unto_o we_o upon_o condition_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o repentance_n for_o the_o exact_v of_o this_o condition_n do_v neither_o make_v eternal_a life_n to_o be_v any_o whit_n the_o less_o the_o free_a gift_n of_o god_n nor_o do_v it_o any_o whit_n diminish_v or_o destroy_v our_o bond_n of_o thankfulness_n to_o god_n for_o this_o his_o unspeakable_a and_o unconceivable_a blessing_n and_o benefit_n sect_n ix_o although_o salvation_n be_v not_o promise_v to_o any_o but_o upon_o condition_n of_o faith_n and_o repentance_n yet_o the_o lord_n have_v absolute_o promise_v to_o his_o elect_a grace_n to_o perform_v both_o these_o yet_o notwithstanding_o because_o i_o will_v not_o willing_o conceal_v any_o part_n of_o the_o truth_n i_o do_v free_o grant_v that_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v in_o some_o sort_n absolute_a that_o be_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o grace_n promise_v by_o god_n unto_o his_o such_o faith_n or_o confidence_n be_v a_o affection_n of_o the_o sensitive_a part_n or_o faculty_n of_o the_o soul_n therefore_o no_o sure_a note_n of_o salvation_n hereunto_o i_o answer_v that_o affection_n be_v not_o only_o in_o the_o sensitive_a appetite_n but_o also_o in_o the_o will_n for_o wherefore_o else_o be_v it_o that_o the_o will_n be_v say_v to_o be_v appetitus_fw-la objection_n answer_v and_o some_o case_n of_o conscience_n resolve_v these_o thing_n i_o have_v thus_o discuss_v the_o more_o large_o that_o man_n may_v not_o deceive_v themselves_o with_o a_o false_a faith_n which_o can_v never_o bring_v any_o true_a comfort_n to_o their_o soul_n but_o in_o the_o end_n will_v plunge_v they_o into_o perdition_n everlasting_a now_o there_o remain_v nothing_o but_o that_o i_o answer_v such_o other_o objection_n and_o resolve_v such_o doubt_n as_o be_v raise_v against_o this_o doctrine_n whereas_o then_o we_o do_v teach_v the_o child_n of_o god_n to_o reason_n thus_o for_o their_o comfort_n whosoever_o repent_v and_o believe_v in_o christ_n his_o sin_n be_v pardon_v by_o god_n and_o he_o shall_v undoubted_o be_v save_v but_o i_o do_v thus_o repent_v and_o believe_v therefore_o my_o sin_n be_v pardon_v and_o i_o shall_v through_o god_n mercy_n be_v eternal_o save_v object_n against_o this_o it_o be_v first_o object_v that_o our_o repentance_n and_o any_o man_n be_v bind_v upon_o a_o great_a penalty_n to_o go_v to_o any_o place_n or_o other_o without_o stumble_v or_o fall_v if_o he_o do_v but_o once_o trip_v and_o stumble_v in_o his_o journey_n he_o incur_v that_o penalty_n and_o even_o so_o in_o like_a manner_n because_o the_o law_n require_v universal_a obedience_n of_o we_o and_o curse_v we_o if_o we_o break_v but_o any_o one_o commandment_n thereof_o therefore_o if_o we_o shall_v commit_v but_o one_o sin_n in_o all_o our_o life_n there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o salvation_n by_o the_o law_n but_o a_o fearful_a expectation_n be_v say_v to_o walk_v to_o such_o or_o such_o a_o place_n although_o he_o take_v many_o a_o fall_n if_o he_o do_v not_o lie_v still_o but_o rise_v again_o present_o and_o never_o cease_v go_v until_o he_o come_v thither_o so_o although_o as_o st._n james_n say_v 3.2_o jam._n 3.2_o we_o do_v in_o many_o thing_n offend_v all_o that_o be_v take_v many_o fall_n while_o we_o be_v in_o our_o journey_n towards_o heaven_n yet_o if_o we_o do_v not_o lie_v still_o in_o any_o sin_n but_o rise_v up_o again_o speedy_o by_o repentance_n and_o proceed_v in_o our_o obedience_n to_o god_n commandment_n we_o may_v true_o be_v say_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o righteousness_n and_o shall_v in_o the_o end_n come_v to_o heaven_n through_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n jesus_n but_o it_o may_v here_o be_v say_v object_n there_o be_v many_o good_a soul_n that_o labour_n and_o strive_v constant_o and_o continual_o to_o repent_v &_o believe_v and_o yet_o they_o be_v so_o trouble_v with_o doubt_n and_o fear_n which_o do_v
