receive_v you_o but_o not_o to_o doubtful_a disputation_n for_o one_o believe_v that_o he_o may_v eat_v all_o thing_n another_o who_o be_v weak_a eat_v herb_n let_v not_o he_o that_o eat_v despise_v he_o that_o eat_v not_o and_o let_v not_o he_o which_o eat_v not_o judge_v he_o that_o eat_v for_o god_n have_v receive_v he_o one_o man_n esteem_v one_o day_n above_o another_o another_o esteem_v every_o day_n alike_o let_v every_o man_n be_v full_o persuade_v in_o his_o own_o mind_n etc._n etc._n see_v rom._n 8._o 1_o 5_o etc._n etc._n my_o friend_n some_o unruly_a and_o some_o unskilful_a person_n of_o our_o time_n who_o will_v be_v account_v strong_a faithful_a and_o wise_a under_o the_o profession_n of_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n within_o have_v endeavour_v to_o strain_n and_o wrest_v this_o last_o cite_v scripture_n thereby_o to_o justify_v and_o cover_v themselves_o in_o the_o practise_n of_o some_o thing_n which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o truth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n as_o also_o in_o the_o omit_v and_o neglect_v of_o some_o thing_n which_o the_o light_n of_o jesus_n have_v lead_v the_o faithful_a into_o not_o only_o the_o elder_n or_o age_a in_o christ_n but_o the_o young_a also_o in_o bear_v with_o weakness_n we_o be_v of_o the_o apostle_n mind_n and_o concern_v eat_v of_o herb_n or_o any_o sort_n of_o food_n or_o meat_n we_o will_v have_v all_o who_o profess_v the_o light_n of_o christ_n jesus_n to_o wait_v diligent_o in_o it_o that_o by_o it_o their_o understanding_n may_v be_v clear_v that_o they_o may_v see_v as_o the_o apostle_n do_v and_o be_v persuade_v as_o he_o and_o many_o more_o be_v and_o be_v that_o there_o be_v nothing_o unclean_a of_o itself_o that_o so_o out_o of_o weakness_n they_o may_v grow_v strong_a in_o the_o lord_n the_o same_o apostle_n who_o take_v this_o care_n that_o they_o may_v not_o judge_v one_o another_o about_o meat_n drink_n and_o day_n hear_v what_o he_o further_o say_v concern_v these_o thing_n when_o some_o among_o the_o christian_n will_v or_o do_v command_v to_o abstain_v from_o meat_n and_o will_v have_v it_o receive_v as_o a_o principle_n or_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n in_o his_o church_n than_o the_o apostle_n judge_v it_o and_o rank_n it_o as_o one_o of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o devil_n see_v tim._n 4._o 1_o 2_o 3._o observe_v whilst_o the_o abstain_v from_o meat_n in_o the_o before_o mention_v sense_n be_v practise_v as_o a_o weakness_n which_o it_o real_o be_v through_o shortness_n of_o understanding_n he_o bear_v with_o it_o and_o exhort_v other_o so_o to_o do_v say_v eat_v thing_n sacrifice_v unto_o it_o and_o their_o conscience_n therein_o and_o thereby_o be_v defile_v the_o christian_n who_o know_v there_o be_v no_o other_o god_n but_o one_o be_v warn_v by_o the_o apostle_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o sit_v in_o the_o idol_n temple_n at_o meat_n with_o those_o who_o eat_v their_o meat_n unto_o the_o idol_n lest_o their_o so_o do_v shall_v embolden_v those_o ignorant_a idolater_n to_o persist_v in_o their_o ignorance_n and_o idolatry_n for_o though_o some_o may_v say_v they_o do_v not_o eat_v it_o to_o the_o idol_n as_o the_o idolater_n do_v but_o for_o strength_n and_o sustenance_n to_o the_o outward_a man_n yet_o this_o will_v not_o answer_v the_o counsel_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o apostle_n nor_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n in_o their_o
