we_o enter_v into_o the_o day_n have_v no_o mean_n to_o prevent_v the_o execution_n of_o most_o sinful_a action_n but_o by_o thy_o own_o most_o gracious_a work_n holy_a fear_n and_o godly_a obedience_n in_o our_o heart_n wherefore_o love_a father_n i_o come_v this_o morning_n into_o thy_o holy_a presence_n from_o which_o i_o can_v hide_v i_o and_o upon_o the_o knee_n of_o my_o heart_n i_o unfeigned_o entreat_v thou_o that_o as_o it_o have_v please_v thou_o this_o night_n to_o preserve_v i_o and_o give_v i_o comfortable_a rest_n and_o sleep_v in_o safety_n so_o thou_o will_v be_v please_v to_o watch_v over_o i_o this_o day_n that_o no_o danger_n befall_v i_o either_o in_o body_n soul_n or_o any_o thing_n belong_v unto_o i_o but_o that_o i_o may_v be_v so_o lead_v under_o the_o pavilion_n of_o thy_o protection_n guide_v by_o thy_o spirit_n that_o neither_o in_o thought_n word_n or_o deed_n i_o may_v offend_v thou_o endeavour_v to_o perform_v all_o holy_a and_o heavenly_a duty_n unto_o thou_o my_o god_n who_o for_o all_o thy_o mercy_n require_v only_o pure_a and_o sincere_a obedience_n which_o be_v also_o thy_o gift_n for_o none_o by_o his_o own_o power_n can_v think_v a_o good_a thought_n much_o less_o lord_n work_v any_o thing_n please_v unto_o thou_o but_o the_o contrary_a therefore_o disclaim_v i_o all_o my_o own_o merit_n and_o cleave_v only_o unto_o thy_o mercy_n in_o jesus_n christ_n humble_o beseech_v thou_o for_o his_o sake_n to_o take_v charge_n of_o i_o this_o day_n prevent_v the_o malicious_a intention_n of_o satan_n and_o his_o minister_n mortify_v i_o own_o sinful_a affection_n and_o infuse_v into_o my_o heart_n all_o divine_a grace_n that_o my_o way_n this_o day_n may_v nothing_o savour_v of_o sin_n but_o of_o sanctity_n and_o as_o i_o have_v by_o thou_o safe_o pass_v this_o night_n so_o i_o may_v begin_v continue_v and_o end_v this_o day_n and_o all_o the_o day_n of_o my_o life_n in_o thy_o faith_n fear_n and_o obedience_n and_o that_o in_o all_o my_o action_n whereunto_o i_o be_o bind_v by_o my_o place_n and_o calling_n i_o may_v so_o walk_v and_o so_o perform_v they_o as_o that_o thy_o blessing_n may_v accompany_v whatsoever_o i_o endeavour_n give_v i_o lord_n a_o upright_a heart_n ask_v and_o let_v i_o ever_o receive_v counsel_n from_o thou_o to_o be_v guide_v in_o whatsoever_o i_o purpose_v that_o so_o
