beggar_n ourselves_o we_o may_v just_o suppose_v a_o denial_n of_o god_n hand_n when_o we_o ask_v bread_n of_o he_o if_o we_o deny_v other_o when_o they_o ask_v bread_n of_o we_o 2._o because_o we_o that_o our_o care_n can_v procure_v we_o aequè_fw-la miser_n qui_fw-la omne_fw-la concupiscit_fw-la ac_fw-la qui_fw-la nihil_fw-la possidet_fw-la the_o first_o reason_n why_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v solicitous_a about_o such_o thing_n but_o rely_v upon_o god_n goodness_n stand_v thus_o he_o that_o will_v give_v a_o jewel_n will_v not_o deny_v a_o farthing_n he_o give_v you_o life_n without_o provide_v for_o particular_a fowl_n but_o for_o all_o in_o general_n 5._o it_o be_v not_o say_v for_o fowl_n but_o for_o fowl_n of_o the_o air_n to_o show_v that_o for_o divers_a fowl_n that_o be_v not_o upon_o their_o repentance_n a_o mote_n in_o the_o eye_n will_v make_v it_o weep_v but_o hypocrite_n take_v no_o notice_n of_o the_o tear_n but_o of_o the_o sin_n thou_o see_v thy_o brother_n sin_n but_o thou_o know_v nor_o his_o sigh_n and_o groan_n nor_o tear_n in_o secret_a david_n defile_v his_o bed_n but_o he_o wash_v his_o couch_n with_o his_o tear_n brother_n cye_z 1._o he_o be_v thy_o brother_n thy_o brotherly_a love_n shall_v cover_v a_o multitude_n of_o sin_n it_o may_v be_v the_o reason_n why_o our_o saviour_n name_v the_o word_n brother_n be_v because_o that_o those_o that_o general_o speak_v ill_a of_o other_o use_v to_o pretend_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o friendship_n and_o love_n and_o then_o add_v their_o slander_n which_o like_o a_o antidote_n give_v with_o discern_v not_o his_o own_o he_o that_o be_v so_o much_o abroad_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o stranger_n at_o home_n beam_n 1._o thou_o be_v worse_o than_o he_o because_o he_o be_v but_o a_o more_o thou_o a_o beam_n 2._o he_o may_v consider_v his_o mote_n and_o bewail_v it_o for_o aught_o thou_o know_v but_o thou_o consider_v not_o thy_o beam_n one_o special_a use_n we_o shall_v make_v of_o another_o vice_n to_o look_v unto_o ourselves_o of_o great_a it_o may_v be_v he_o sin_v not_o against_o so_o much_o mean_n so_o many_o mercy_n so_o that_o that_o very_a sin_n which_o be_v but_o a_o mote_n in_o be_v in_o thy_o own_o eye_n how_o will_v thou_o say_v etc._n etc._n how_o that_o be_v how_o can_v thou_o have_v the_o face_n to_o say_v when_o thou_o be_v guilty_a of_o the_o same_o sin_n as_o plato_n disease_n be_v not_o so_o much_o disenable_v to_o cure_v another_o that_o be_v sick_a of_o the_o same_o as_o one_o that_o have_v a_o infirmity_n in_o his_o sight_n for_o against_o he_o there_o lie_v a_o double_a objection_n 1._o if_o you_o can_v cure_v i_o why_o can_v you_o not_o yourself_o 2._o the_o eye_n be_v a_o tender_a place_n and_o needs_o therefore_o in_o all_o actual_a operation_n concern_v it_o to_o have_v a_o lady_n hand_n but_o a_o hawk_n eye_n verse_n 5._o thou_o hypocrite_n first_o cast_v out_o the_o beam_n out_o of_o thy_o own_o eye_n and_o then_o shall_v thou_o see_v clear_o to_o cast_v out_o the_o mote_n out_o of_o thy_o brother_n eye_n thou_o hypocrite_n etc._n etc._n 1_o no_o great_a sign_n of_o hypocrisy_n then_o to_o be_v curious_a in_o the_o espy_v out_o of_o other_o fault_n and_o yet_o at_o the_o same_o time_n to_o indulge_v great_a in_o ourselves_o 2._o no_o minister_n in_o the_o world_n so_o fit_a to_o reprove_v and_o cure_v other_o as_o those_o that_o have_v experience_n of_o the_o way_n of_o cure_n of_o their_o own_o sin_n and_o he_o be_v fit_a 1._o because_o he_o have_v more_o skill_n 2._o he_o will_v do_v it_o with_o more_o tenderness_n and_o compassion_n 3._o we_o must_v not_o despise_v
