apostasy_n from_o the_o unity_n and_o fellowship_n of_o the_o gospel_n who_o way_n do_v not_o tend_v to_o peace_n but_o strife_n and_o self-separation_n he_o fervent_o preach_v the_o cross_n of_o christ_n and_o press_v the_o necessity_n of_o obedience_n through_o it_o and_o unto_o watchfulness_n in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n he_o preach_v faith_n in_o the_o power_n of_o god_n and_o the_o sufficient_o make_v manifest_a so_o that_o i_o need_v not_o trouble_v myself_o to_o insert_v they_o here_o and_o thereby_o its_o evident_a enough_o that_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n be_v not_o infallible_a five_o again_o if_o a._n s._n or_o any_o other_o can_v prove_v that_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n have_v always_o remain_v since_o christ_n time_n yet_o as_o aforesaid_a that_o be_v not_o a_o sufficient_a argument_n to_o prove_v her_o infallible_a or_o that_o she_o can_v fail_v nor_o cease_v for_o consider_v the_o dragon_n that_o old_a serpent_n call_v the_o devil_n who_o be_v a_o murderer_n from_o the_o beginning_n who_o give_v power_n to_o the_o beast_n that_o carry_v the_o whore_n that_o drink_v the_o saint_n blood_n that_o say_v she_o shall_v see_v no_o sorrow_n be_v before_o the_o day_n of_o christ_n appearance_n in_o the_o flesh_n yet_o the_o dragon_n be_v not_o infallible_a but_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n be_v uphold_v by_o the_o murderer_n or_o carry_v by_o the_o true_a church_n as_o it_o stand_v in_o the_o apostle_n day_n for_o the_o apostle_n in_o his_o day_n say_v let_v every_o man_n be_v full_o persuade_v in_o his_o own_o conscience_n rom._n 14.5_o and_o do_v not_o go_v about_o to_o force_v people_n to_o conform_v to_o such_o thing_n that_o they_o be_v not_o persuade_v of_o in_o their_o conscience_n nor_o to_o compel_v they_o by_o outward_a law_n to_o conform_v thereunto_o but_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n do_v not_o admit_v that_o every_o one_o shall_v walk_v or_o act_v according_a as_o they_o be_v persuade_v in_o their_o own_o conscience_n but_o go_v about_o by_o outward_a law_n to_o compel_v they_o to_o conform_v to_o that_o which_o she_o call_v her_o holy_a ordinance_n and_o institution_n which_o many_o for_o conscience_n drink_v of_o her_o cup_n of_o abomination_n then_o to_o be_v sure_o she_o will_v drink_v their_o blood_n witness_v the_o blood_n she_o have_v drink_v for_o above_o this_o thousand_o year_n pass_v of_o they_o that_o can_v not_o for_o conscience_n sake_n towards_o god_n conform_v to_o her_o ordinance_n and_o therefore_o she_o have_v err_v from_o that_o spirit_n which_o be_v in_o the_o true_a church_n and_o from_o the_o apostle_n doctrine_n and_o be_v still_o in_o the_o error_n second_o in_o the_o true_a church_n in_o the_o apostle_n day_n every_o one_o as_o he_o have_v receive_v the_o gift_n of_o have_v the_o pre-eminence_n and_o so_o my_o dear_a friend_n as_o i_o say_v unto_o you_o let_v he_o be_v your_o example_n to_o walk_v by_o of_o who_o spirit_n you_o have_v receive_v a_o measure_n to_o be_v a_o guide_n rule_n and_o counsellor_n unto_o you_o and_o none_o vary_v from_o the_o leading_n thereof_o in_o any_o wise_a nor_o by_o any_o mean_n for_o than_o you_o wander_v or_o go_v into_o darkness_n and_o so_o lose_v your_o way_n of_o peace_n and_o then_o trouble_n will_v come_v in_o upon_o you_o and_o desperation_n will_v be_v ready_a to_o get_v up_o in_o your_o mind_n or_o contrariwise_o a_o spirit_n of_o conceitedness_n will_v carry_v away_o the_o mind_n into_o a_o motion_n or_o profession_n of_o the_o truth_n out_o of_o the_o life_n of_o it_o and_o will_v lead_v thou_o to_o talk_v of_o former_a experience_n when_o thou_o have_v lose_v the_o thing_n by_o and_o through_o which_o thou_o gain_v that_o experience_n which_o thou_o once_o have_v and_o which_o thou_o now_o talk_v of_o and_o so_o thou_o will_v grow_v into_o a_o form_n and_o profession_n of_o truth_n without_o the_o power_n and_o life_n of_o it_o and_o this_o be_v not_o a_o sacrifice_n acceptable_a or_o agreeable_a unto_o the_o mind_n of_o god_n but_o contrariwise_o altogether_o disagreeable_a unto_o his_o mind_n and_o holy_a spirit_n and_o his_o soul_n hate_v it_o and_o have_v no_o pleasure_n therein_o wherefore_o my_o dear_a friend_n dwell_v and_o watch_v in_o the_o light_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n unto_o which_o from_o the_o darkness_n you_o have_v be_v turn_v that_o therein_o every_o one_o may_v be_v keep_v in_o a_o true_a and_o clear_a sense_n and_o discern_v of_o his_o own_o present_a state_n and_o stand_v and_o there_o the_o power_n of_o god_n be_v feel_v which_o go_v over_o that_o which_o will_v drive_v into_o unbelief_n or_o desperation_n in_o the_o time_n of_o trouble_n and_o this_o same_o power_n or_o god_n will_v also_o keep_v down_o the_o aspire_a mind_n that_o will_v be_v exalt_v above_o the_o cross_n and_o will_v intrude_v into_o thing_n which_o be_v not_o reveal_v of_o god_n and_o will_v be_v puff_v up_o therewith_o and_o glory_n therein_o all_o such_o glory_v be_v vain_a and_o this_o be_v the_o enemy_n that_o will_v not_o have_v christ_n to_o reign_v over_o he_o neither_o will_v it_o be_v subject_a to_o the_o high_a power_n but_o will_v despise_v the_o authority_n of_o god_n and_o speak_v evil_a of_o dignity_n and_o this_o must_v be_v slay_v for_o this_o spirit_n have_v not_o the_o mind_n of_o christ_n neither_o will_v walk_v as_o christ_n do_v nor_o have_v he_o for_o its_o example_n but_o will_v be_v
