from_o what_o they_o purpose_v four_o sometime_o by_o his_o providence_n he_o take_v off_o the_o object_n against_o which_o they_o intend_v to_o sin_n thus_o god_n preserve_v st._n peter_n from_o herod_n ambitious_a rage_n he_o intend_v the_o next_o morning_n to_o put_v he_o to_o death_n but_o that_o very_a night_n god_n send_v his_o angel_n to_o work_v his_o escape_n and_o thereby_o hinder_v the_o execution_n of_o that_o wicked_a purpose_n and_o thus_o in_o all_o age_n god_n many_o time_n hide_v his_o child_n from_o the_o fury_n of_o wicked_a man_n that_o their_o wrath_n against_o they_o of_o the_o devil_n policy_n in_o fit_v they_o with_o opportunity_n and_o occasion_n of_o sin_v and_o of_o god_n providence_n in_o cause_v some_o immergent_fw-la affair_n or_o some_o other_o strange_a and_o unexpected_a accident_n to_o interpose_v so_o that_o he_o have_v either_o gracious_o take_v away_o our_o power_n or_o take_v away_o the_o object_n of_o our_o lust_n or_o divert_v we_o when_o we_o be_v in_o the_o pursuit_n of_o they_o to_o this_o we_o owe_v much_o of_o the_o innocency_n and_o in_o some_o respect_v blamelessness_n of_o our_o life_n that_o we_o have_v not_o be_v a_o second_o god_n preserve_v from_o sin_n by_o his_o restrain_v grace_n now_o this_o restrain_v grace_n be_v that_o which_o be_v common_a and_o vouchsafe_v to_o wicked_a man_n as_o well_o as_o good_a indeed_o god_n by_o it_o deal_v in_o a_o secret_a way_n with_o the_o very_a heart_n of_o a_o sinner_n and_o though_o he_o do_v not_o change_v the_o habitual_a yet_o he_o change_v the_o present_a actual_a disposition_n of_o it_o so_o as_o not_o only_o by_o external_a check_n lay_v upon_o man_n lust_n but_o by_o internal_a persuasion_n motive_n and_o argument_n they_o be_v take_v off_o the_o prosecution_n of_o those_o very_a sin_n which_o yet_o remain_v in_o they_o unmortified_a and_o reign_a thus_o esau_n come_v out_o against_o his_o brother_n jacob_n with_o a_o troop_n of_o two_o hundred_o ruffian_n intend_v doubtless_o to_o take_v revenge_n upon_o he_o for_o his_o birthright_n and_o blessing_n but_o at_o their_o first_o meeting_n god_n by_o a_o secret_a work_n so_o mollify_v action_n but_o by_o restrain_v grace_n god_n deal_v in_o a_o secret_a way_n with_o the_o very_a heart_n of_o a_o sinner_n and_o although_o he_o do_v not_o change_v the_o nature_n of_o it_o yet_o he_o alter_v the_o present_a inclination_n of_o it_o and_o take_v away_o the_o desire_n of_o commit_v those_o sin_n which_o yet_o he_o do_v not_o mortify_v and_o from_o sanctify_a grace_n it_o differ_v
