his_o love_n upon_o these_o his_o belove_a disciple_n that_o be_v give_v he_o out_o of_o the_o world_n by_o his_o father_n that_o maugre_o all_o the_o frailty_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o the_o temptation_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o devil_n yet_o none_o of_o they_o shall_v be_v lose_v but_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v carry_v on_o through_o all_o difficulty_n to_o the_o fruition_n of_o son_n the_o lose_a groat_n the_o lose_a sheep_n do_v it_o not_o show_v that_o a_o true_a believer_n may_v be_v lose_v and_o be_v lose_v may_v be_v find_v moderate_a i_o believe_v god_n have_v elect_v a_o certain_a number_n to_o salvation_n and_o those_o that_o be_v give_v out_o of_o the_o world_n to_o christ_n he_o will_v not_o fail_v to_o keep_v they_o to_o himself_o but_o will_v by_o interpose_v grace_n so_o preserve_v they_o that_o they_o shall_v never_o perish_v but_o the_o other_o that_o christ_n die_v for_o upon_o condition_n of_o their_o repentance_n believe_v and_o persevere_v therein_o to_o the_o end_n i_o dare_v not_o say_v but_o some_o of_o these_o may_v believe_v for_o a_o time_n and_o that_o with_o a_o true_a faith_n believe_v and_o yet_o fall_v away_o so_o as_o to_o perish_v these_o time_n have_v afford_v many_o sad_a and_o shake_a example_n of_o this_o kind_n and_o i_o be_o not_o strict_o certain_a of_o my_o perseverance_n and_o so_o not_o full_o or_o strict_o certain_a of_o my_o own_o salvation_n philet_fw-la o_o what_o a_o uncomfortable_a doctrine_n be_v this_o of_o fall_v from_o grace_n philad_n this_o doctrine_n do_v not_o destroy_v all_o christian_a comfort_n but_o a_o life_n of_o much_o christian_a comfort_n may_v be_v have_v out_o of_o it_o see_v it_o be_v the_o unchangeable_a purpose_n of_o god_n to_o give_v life_n and_o salvation_n to_o all_o those_o that_o shall_v persevere_v in_o faith_n and_o holiness_n to_o the_o end_n and_o that_o if_o they_o will_v but_o quit_v themselves_o like_o man_n abstain_v from_o all_o foolish_a and_o hurtful_a lust_n and_o not_o wilful_o stab_v their_o own_o soul_n nor_o pull_v misery_n upon_o their_o own_o head_n they_o shall_v be_v happy_a and_o what_o tho_o true_a believer_n may_v be_v under_o a_o possibility_n of_o perish_v yet_o see_v god_n have_v through_o his_o bounty_n vouchsafe_v unto_o they_o so_o rich_a and_o such_o full_a proportion_n of_o mean_n thereby_o to_o prevent_v their_o perish_v and_o to_o preserve_v they_o from_o apostasy_n so_o that_o they_o need_v not_o apostatise_v or_o perish_v except_o they_o themselves_o please_v why_o shall_v it_o abate_v any_o of_o their_o comfort_n or_o hope_n of_o salvation_n because_o under_o a_o possibility_n of_o perish_v man_n may_v possible_o fall_v into_o the_o fire_n and_o be_v burn_v or_o into_o the_o water_n and_o be_v drown_v from_o the_o top_n of_o house_n and_o be_v dash_v in_o piece_n yet_o no_o man_n live_v ever_o a_o whit_n the_o more_o uncomfortable_a because_o under_o a_o possibility_n of_o suffer_v these_o evil_n because_o they_o know_v god_n have_v give_v they_o reason_n and_o understanding_n to_o preserve_v they_o from_o these_o thing_n the_o apostle_n paul_n know_v that_o he_o be_v under_o a_o possibility_n of_o be_v a_o castaway_n 1_o cor._n 9_o 27._o yet_o how_o cheerful_o and_o at_o what_o a_o excellent_a rate_n of_o comfort_n do_v he_o live_v i_o be_o persuade_v say_v he_o rom._n 8._o 38_o 39_o that_o neither_o death_n nor_o life_n nor_o thing_n present_a nor_o thing_n to_o come_v etc._n etc._n the_o assurance_n he_o have_v that_o upon_o a_o diligent_a use_n of_o the_o mean_n which_o god_n of_o his_o grace_n have_v vouchsafe_v to_o he_o he_o shall_v prevent_v his_o be_v a_o castaway_n make_v he_o live_v at_o that_o height_n of_o confidence_n and_o courage_n which_o he_o do_v what_o can_v no_o one_o enjoy_v comfortable_a hope_n of_o heaven_n unless_o they_o have_v a_o full_a and_o perfect_a assurance_n of_o the_o continuance_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n to_o they_o how_o loose_o and_o profane_o soever_o they_o live_v and_o that_o if_o they_o commit_v all_o manner_n of_o sin_n and_o wickedness_n affront_n heaven_n defy_v the_o almighty_a laugh_v jesus_n and_o his_o gospel_n to_o scorn_v yet_o they_o run_v no_o hazard_n of_o lose_v their_o soul_n indeed_o such_o a_o doctrine_n as_o this_o and_o such_o be_v the_o doctrine_n of_o absolute_a and_o unconditional_a perseverance_n contribute_v to_o the_o peace_n and_o comfort_n of_o the_o carnal_a part_n in_o man_n and_o indulge_v to_o they_o a_o liberty_n of_o sin_n but_o no_o child_n of_o god_n that_o have_v receive_v of_o that_o spirit_n whereby_o it_o can_v cry_v abba_n father_n either_o wish_v or_o desire_v heaven_n or_o salvation_n but_o in_o the_o way_n of_o holiness_n and_o upon_o that_o condition_n which_o the_o lord_n christ_n enjoin_v it_o john_n 15._o 10._o nor_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o any_o man_n shall_v have_v comfortable_a hope_n of_o heaven_n or_o any_o assurance_n of_o be_v save_v unless_o he_o have_v through_o grace_n discharge_v those_o duty_n to_o which_o the_o blessing_n and_o privilege_n be_v therein_o promise_v this_o be_v the_o foundation_n whereupon_o through_o christ_n to_o build_v our_o hope_n and_o comfort_n and_o not_o that_o god_n love_v we_o for_o we_o know_v not_o what_o reason_n and_o that_o we_o can_v possible_o sin_v ourselves_o out_o of_o his_o love_n but_o he_o will_v infallible_o bring_v we_o to_o heaven_n no_o but_o say_v the_o apostle_n 1_o john_n 2._o 3_o 5._o chap._n 3._o 18_o 19_o 20_o 24._o chap._n 5._o 18._o hereby_o we_o know_v and_o be_v assure_v that_o we_o be_v in_o god_n and_o that_o he_o love_v we_o but_o how_o come_v person_n to_o this_o why_o if_o we_o love_v he_o and_o keep_v his_o commandment_n which_o if_o we_o do_v we_o shall_v never_o fall_v 2_o pet._n
