mercy_n of_o god_n only_o depart_v from_o evil_a and_o do_v good_a for_o the_o first_o step_n to_o salvation_n be_v to_o decline_v from_o evil_a the_o second_o to_o hope_v for_o pardon_n which_o hope_n of_o god_n mercy_n be_v not_o sufficient_a to_o save_v thou_o without_o the_o fear_n of_o his_o justice_n for_o in_o vain_a shall_v thou_o hope_v in_o his_o mercy_n except_o thou_o likewise_o fear_v his_o justice_n for_o god_n who_o be_v merciful_a be_v likewise_o just_a and_o therefore_o consider_v how_o merciful_a he_o be_v despair_v not_o consider_v how_o just_a neglect_v not_o thy_o sin_n there_o be_v no_o secure_a way_n than_o under_o hope_n to_o fear_v and_o to_o join_v those_o two_o together_o lest_o perhaps_o a_o unwarie_a mind_n may_v deject_v itself_o by_o despair_n or_o fall_v by_o presumption_n it_o be_v to_o be_v fear_v lest_o thou_o fall_v into_o another_o bottomless_a pit_n and_o thou_o die_v by_o presume_v of_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n that_o can_v not_o die_v by_o despair_v of_o it_o and_o thou_o have_v in_o thy_o heart_n cogitation_n diverse_a from_o the_o former_a but_o not_o less_o dangerous_a and_o so_o thou_o begin_v in_o thy_o heart_n to_o say_v at_o what_o hour_n soever_o i_o shall_v repent_v god_n will_v put_v out_o all_o my_o wickedness_n out_o of_o his_o remembrance_n and_o therefore_o why_o shall_v i_o rather_o convert_v to_o day_n than_o to_o morrow_n but_o my_o dear_a brother_n what_o if_o thy_o end_n be_v before_o to_o morrow_n for_o he_o that_o promise_v unto_o thou_o so_o much_o mercy_n if_o thou_o repent_v promise_v not_o to_o morrow_n if_o thou_o persist_v in_o thy_o sin_n it_o be_v to_o be_v fear_v lest_o while_o conversion_n be_v put_v off_o to_o the_o end_n a_o unexpected_a death_n may_v rather_o prevent_v than_o repentance_n help_v lest_o therefore_o by_o hope_v thou_o shall_v increase_v thy_o sin_n the_o day_n of_o thy_o death_n be_v uncertain_a and_o lest_o by_o despair_n thou_o shall_v increase_v it_o there_o be_v offer_v unto_o thou_o the_o haven_n of_o repentance_n which_o notwithstanding_o that_o in_o the_o 〈◊〉_d of_o thy_o day_n it_o be_v good_a yet_o that_o
