rest_n and_o that_o peace_n which_o shall_v never_o be_v interrupt_v by_o any_o unhappiness_n we_o may_v say_v that_o the_o first_o rest_n be_v that_o of_o god_n the_o father_n the_o second_o belong_v nor_o from_o his_o mercy_n for_o all_o god_n enemy_n shall_v be_v then_o destroy_v and_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v possible_a to_o add_v any_o thing_n to_o the_o grievousness_n of_o their_o punishment_n nor_o to_o the_o violence_n of_o their_o torment_n there_o shall_v be_v no_o more_o tear_n to_o be_v wipe_v no_o more_o evil_n to_o be_v fear_v nor_o advantage_n to_o be_v expect_v not_o crown_n to_o great_a god_n and_o saviour_n when_o with_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n we_o behold_v he_o sit_v upon_o the_o cloud_n of_o heaven_n come_v to_o put_v a_o period_n to_o sin_n and_o death_n to_o shut_v up_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n in_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n of_o hell_n to_o deliver_v his_o church_n from_o all_o evil_n enemy_n and_o danger_n and_o to_o promote_v it_o to_o the_o high_a felicity_n and_o to_o a_o everlasting_a glory_n after_o this_o believe_v soul_n i_o must_v draw_v the_o curtain_n and_o suffer_v my_o pen_n to_o fall_v from_o my_o hand_n for_o my_o eye_n dazzle_v at_o the_o sight_n of_o so_o much_o light_n and_o my_o soul_n be_v surpriprise_v at_o the_o consideration_n of_o so_o much_o glory_n and_o so_o perfect_a a_o happiness_n although_o i_o have_v continue_v in_o this_o treatise_n long_o than_o i_o first_o propose_v to_o myself_o i_o must_v needs_o confess_v that_o whatsoever_o i_o have_v say_v upon_o so_o rich_a and_o glorious_a a_o subject_n fall_v far_o short_a of_o the_o truth_n but_o i_o be_o persuade_v that_o there_o shall_v be_v here_o enough_o for_o pious_a and_o devout_a soul_n that_o seek_v not_o for_o the_o ornament_n of_o language_n nor_o for_o the_o flourish_n of_o rhetoric_n but_o seek_v for_o the_o true_a and_o solid_a comfort_n of_o god_n holy_a word_n you_o christian_n and_o believe_a soul_n for_o who_o sake_n i_o have_v undertake_v this_o work_n i_o entreat_v you_o by_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o by_o your_o own_o salvation_n to_o preserve_v in_o your_o mind_n the_o idea_n of_o these_o thing_n that_o i_o have_v now_o speak_v of_o imprint_v they_o in_o your_o memory_n grave_n they_o upon_o your_o heart_n with_o the_o point_n of_o a_o diamond_n and_o especial_o take_v delight_n in_o follow_v my_o direction_n and_o you_o shall_v assure_o find_v both_o joy_n and_o comfort_n think_v often_o upon_o death_n let_v it_o be_v the_o most_o familiar_a and_o most_o pleasant_a subject_n of_o your_o as_o not_o enjoy_v they_o remember_v that_o the_o fashion_n of_o this_o world_n pass_v away_o see_v that_o it_o be_v sin_n alone_o that_o make_v death_n appear_v so_o terrible_a to_o we_o hate_v all_o manner_n of_o vice_n and_o study_v the_o practice_n of_o piety_n and_o see_v that_o there_o be_v no_o body_n at_o the_o hour_n of_o death_n but_o wish_v that_o he_o have_v live_v well_o think_v upon_o your_o latter_a end_n and_o you_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o sin_n if_o your_o mind_n be_v disturb_v with_o the_o consideration_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o shall_v happen_v after_o our_o decease_n learn_v to_o rest_v upon_o the_o wise_a providence_n of_o god_n that_o see_v into_o the_o depth_n of_o eternity_n that_o provide_v for_o all_o thing_n and_o that_o draw_v light_a out_o of_o the_o great_a darkness_n be_v you_o cast_v upon_o a_o bed_n of_o sickness_n and_o disease_n open_v the_o eye_n of_o faith_n and_o you_o shall_v see_v yourselves_o encompass_v about_o with_o holy_a angel_n and_o in_o the_o arm_n of_o god_n himself_o dread_v not_o the_o violence_n of_o pain_n for_o god_n shall_v never_o forsake_v you_o in_o your_o grief_n he_o shall_v never_o suffer_v you_o to_o be_v afflict_v above_o what_o you_o be_v able_a to_o endure_v fancy_v he_o not_o as_o a_o dreadful_a and_o a_o merciless_a judge_n but_o look_v upon_o he_o as_o a_o gracious_a and_o a_o love_a fill_v it_o with_o his_o most_o divine_a perfume_n let_v death_n seem_v to_o you_o never_o so_o dreadful_a remember_v that_o our_o saviour_n have_v overcome_v it_o by_o his_o resurrection_n fear_v
