and_o precious_a man_n hope_v for_o will_v never_o come_v upon_o the_o earth_n and_o if_o that_o of_o the_o deity_n that_o lie_v hide_v in_o man_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d as_o the_o philosopher_n speak_v raise_v itself_o up_o more_o then_o ordinary_o at_o this_o bout_n it_o produce_v nothing_o but_o a_o more_o quick_a and_o sensible_a gust_n of_o a_o truth_n so_o sacred_a and_o evident_a to_o every_o one_o in_o who_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n do_v abide_v it_o can_v amount_v to_o that_o which_o man_n call_v enthusiasm_n but_o be_v to_o go_v only_o for_o a_o sober_a and_o warrantable_a though_o a_o very_a vehement_a and_o affectionate_a fit_n of_o love_n and_o devotion_n upon_o a_o full_a and_o clear_a impress_n or_o manifestation_n of_o the_o excellency_n of_o that_o life_n and_o spirit_n which_o christ_n come_v to_o communicate_v to_o the_o world_n of_o which_o by_o how_o much_o every_o one_o do_v partake_v by_o so_o much_o the_o more_o he_o will_v slight_v the_o curiosity_n of_o opinion_n and_o in_o this_o light_n plain_o see_v that_o the_o zeal_n after_o a_o conformity_n to_o they_o do_v more_o than_o any_o thing_n hinder_v the_o growth_n of_o truth_n and_o the_o advancement_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n upon_o the_o earth_n for_o while_o they_o have_v that_o whereby_o they_o may_v make_v a_o show_n of_o godliness_n before_o other_o they_o be_v the_o more_o easy_o retain_v in_o the_o estate_n of_o hypocrisy_n they_o fancy_v that_o they_o serve_v god_n well_o enough_o in_o the_o promote_a of_o their_o own_o conceit_n and_o invention_n which_o they_o shameful_o call_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n and_o beside_o they_o hinder_v that_o good_a which_o sincere_a christian_n may_v do_v in_o the_o world_n who_o have_v so_o much_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n before_o their_o eye_n that_o they_o will_v not_o lie_v and_o dissemble_v for_o their_o own_o advantage_n and_o therefore_o man_n of_o least_o conscience_n careless_a what_o be_v true_a or_o false_a in_o religion_n but_o very_o crafty_a for_o themselves_o and_o that_o will_v conform_v to_o any_o thing_n to_o mend_v their_o livelihood_n and_o those_o that_o be_v the_o most_o atheistical_a will_v be_v able_a to_o do_v this_o the_o most_o exquisite_o get_v into_o power_n and_o place_n in_o the_o church_n and_o so_o the_o wolf_n have_v put_v on_o the_o shepherd_n coat_n and_o take_v his_o crook_n into_o his_o hand_n very_o formal_o tend_v the_o flock_n of_o christ_n and_o undoubted_o will_v give_v a_o wonderful_a fair_a account_n of_o his_o office_n at_o the_o last_o to_o that_o great_a pastor_n and_o bishop_n of_o our_o soul_n this_o therefore_o that_o be_v so_o intelligible_a and_o rational_a so_o manifest_a and_o common_o know_v to_o all_o that_o have_v make_v that_o due_a progress_n in_o christianity_n which_o they_o may_v be_v not_o to_o be_v hold_v as_o a_o extraordinary_a piece_n of_o enthusiasm_n but_o a_o plain_a though_o very_o zealous_a declaration_n of_o a_o indispensable_a truth_n 23._o that_o which_o come_v the_o near_a to_o vision_n or_o enthusiasm_n that_o ever_o happen_v to_o i_o be_v about_o seven_o or_o eight_o and_o twenty_o year_n ago_o when_o on_o a_o morning_n in_o my_o bed_n after_o break_v of_o day_n i_o hear_v as_o i_o think_v a_o sound_n of_o a_o trumpet_n very_o shrill_a and_o pierce_a the_o long_a it_o sound_v the_o more_o shrill_a and_o pierce_a it_o be_v so_o that_o it_o pain_v my_o ear_n more_o and_o more_o methinks_v i_o be_v then_o in_o a_o open_a place_n and_o in_o a_o free_a horizon_n save_v that_o something_o a_o thick_a mist_n hundred_o my_o prospect_n but_o it_o grow_v thin_a and_o thin_a and_o a_o innumerable_a company_n of_o angel_n blue_a and_o purple_a colour_v about_o the_o shoulder_n fill_v the_o heaven_n round_o about_o but_o the_o sight_n be_v obscure_a by_o reason_n of_o the_o mistress_n but_o according_a as_o the_o trumpet_n sound_v loud_o and_o loud_o the_o mist_n grow_v thin_a and_o the_o vision_n clear_a but_o the_o shrillness_n of_o the_o trumpet_n do_v pierce_v my_o ear_n with_o such_o a_o great_a pain_n that_o i_o can_v not_o go_v on_o till_o the_o sight_n be_v perfect_o clear_v
