judge_v any_o only_o it_o be_v a_o servant_n to_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n it_o be_v true_a god_n have_v give_v this_o beast_n a_o kingdom_n greatness_n and_o power_n but_o it_o be_v only_o in_o wrath_n and_o destruction_n foolish_a man_n be_v deceive_v miserable_o by_o he_o poor_a dust_n if_o he_o can_v get_v up_o into_o any_o kind_n of_o power_n though_o it_o be_v only_o to_o plague_n and_o destroy_v yet_o he_o think_v it_o a_o great_a attainment_n if_o he_o have_v so_o much_o knowledge_n religion_n or_o power_n as_o to_o inflict_v punishment_n he_o fancy_v himself_o a_o god_n because_o he_o administer_v divine_a displeasure_n but_o if_o ever_o you_o come_v to_o so_o much_o light_n of_o god_n as_o to_o know_v what_o you_o do_v you_o will_v abhor_v yourselves_o for_o that_o which_o you_o now_o glory_n in_o if_o you_o will_v show_v yourselves_o man_n and_o but_o exercise_v your_o reason_n you_o will_v quick_o see_v that_o you_o can_v judge_v of_o your_o enemy_n that_o you_o hate_v and_o therefore_o that_o they_o be_v not_o what_o you_o judge_v they_o to_o be_v while_o you_o judge_v in_o hatred_n first_o no_o man_n can_v judge_v when_o he_o hate_v or_o after_o he_o hate_v for_o when_o man_n hate_v they_o suppose_v those_o they_o hate_v be_v to_o be_v destroy_v and_o therefore_o they_o be_v already_o judge_v and_o condemn_v for_o hatred_n be_v the_o execute_n of_o one_o condemn_v and_o that_o with_o the_o worst_a condemnation_n unto_o the_o utmost_a and_o irrevocable_a ruin_n man_n think_v when_o they_o hate_v there_o remain_v nothing_o to_o do_v but_o to_o prosecute_v to_o utter_v destruction_n to_o spoil_v pull_v down_o shame_n disgrace_n and_o ruin_v they_o and_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o they_o shall_v judge_v that_o be_v thus_o employ_v to_o execute_v for_o to_o judge_v a_o person_n or_o
that_o can_v live_v in_o death_n love_n and_o bless_v enemy_n they_o be_v fit_a to_o reign_v for_o when_o such_o come_v to_o the_o kingdom_n they_o will_v enrich_v save_v bless_v and_o do_v good_a to_o all_o and_o hurt_v none_o but_o they_o that_o can_v bear_v the_o worst_a of_o evil_n among_o man_n will_v themselves_o be_v a_o burden_n to_o man_n if_o they_o get_v to_o the_o throne_n the_o good_a god_n who_o love_v man_n prove_v and_o try_v his_o own_o son_n before_o he_o give_v he_o the_o kingdom_n and_o will_v not_o commit_v the_o government_n to_o he_o till_o he_o have_v find_v that_o he_o can_v be_v happy_a without_o it_o till_o he_o can_v glory_v on_o the_o cross_n till_o he_o can_v die_v for_o other_o and_o be_v more_o happy_a in_o lay_v down_o his_o life_n and_o honour_n for_o they_o then_o in_o receive_v honour_n from_o they_o this_o lamb_n do_v overcome_v for_o he_o be_v king_n of_o king_n he_o have_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n in_o he_o and_o therefore_o all_o kingdom_n in_o his_o nature_n and_o needs_o not_o take_v from_o other_o but_o give_v to_o other_o and_o they_o that_o be_v with_o he_o be_v as_o he_o be_v call_v faithful_a and_o choose_v they_o do_v partake_v of_o his_o royal_a nature_n and_o be_v call_v to_o suffer_v and_o to_o reign_v and_o in_o both_o be_v faithful_a and_o therefore_o choose_v to_o it_o they_o strive_v not_o for_o it_o three_o that_o only_o be_v mighty_a and_o shall_v reign_v that_o have_v power_n with_o god_n they_o that_o will_v overcome_v any_o thing_n true_o must_v overcome_v he_o because_o he_o be_v the_o kingdom_n servant_n or_o child_n and_o therefore_o he_o can_v set_v himself_o to_o oppose_v they_o nor_o can_v any_o that_o have_v his_o spirit_n these_o low_a contest_v of_o war_n be_v the_o business_n of_o earthly_a and_o sensual_a man_n that_o live_v in_o the_o mire_n and_o dirt_n of_o the_o world_n who_o be_v hurt_v and_o offend_v with_o each_o other_o way_n and_o passion_n but_o he_o be_v on_o high_a he_o have_v give_v will_v defend_v and_o protect_v in_o that_o gift_n as_o long_o as_o he_o please_v and_o in_o what_o way_n he_o please_v and_o they_o that_o be_v with_o he_o be_v call_v to_o know_v what_o he_o do_v and_o do_v as_o he_o do_v therefore_o if_o you_o seek_v for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n you_o must_v ascend_v by_o suffering_n into_o this_o glory_n from_o whence_o all_o man_n receive_v all_o their_o honour_n power_n and_o riches_n and_o then_o you_o will_v cease_v contend_v with_o that_o which_o he_o give_v five_o christ_n be_v now_o in_o the_o exercise_n of_o his_o it_o before_o you_o come_v to_o enjoy_v his_o love_n this_o i_o can_v affirm_v upon_o certain_a knowledge_n and_o experience_n that_o if_o you_o will_v not_o embrace_v and_o kiss_v this_o his_o judgement_n you_o shall_v never_o rise_v high_o neither_o in_o heaven_n nor_o in_o earth_n therefore_o know_v he_o reign_v now_o in_o righteousness_n and_o give_v he_o that_o glory_n that_o be_v due_a to_o he_o give_v he_o glory_n by_o take_v shame_n before_o all_o the_o world_n that_o glory_n you_o may_v give_v he_o and_o it_o be_v all_o the_o kingdom_n you_o or_o any_o flesh_n can_v give_v christ_n to_o suffer_v from_o he_o but_o to_o think_v that_o as_o soon_o as_o you_o attain_v a_o notion_n of_o his_o kingdom_n and_o a_o weak_a one_o that_o present_o you_o must_v have_v share_n with_o he_o in_o it_o be_v high_a presumption_n for_o man_n or_o flesh_n to_o think_v to_o have_v it_o with_o he_o be_v to_o take_v it_o from_o he_o if_o they_o can_v therefore_o you_o be_v miserable_o deceive_v by_o the_o prince_n of_o darkness_n and_o delude_v by_o he_o he_o will_v persuade_v you_o that_o you_o be_v for_o christ_n and_o his_o kingdom_n when_o indeed_o it_o be_v for_o yourselves_o and_o your_o own_o advancement_n you_o be_v persuade_v that_o you_o will_v exalt_v he_o and_o set_v he_o upon_o the_o throne_n whereas_o he_o be_v already_o upon_o the_o throne_n judge_v you_o and_o that_o carnal_a mind_n you_o can_v give_v h_z m_z no_o kingdom_n you_o may_v acknowledge_v the_o kingdom_n he_o have_v indeed_o if_o any_o will_v give_v he_o a_o kingdom_n they_o must_v give_v of_o their_o own_o if_o then_o you_o have_v a_o glory_n and_o a_o kingdom_n and_o can_v lay_v it_o down_o for_o he_o and_o to_o he_o you_o may_v then_o be_v say_v to_o exalt_v christ_n and_o so_o far_o as_o you_o can_v bear_v this_o rejection_n that_o you_o be_v under_o and_o public_o justify_v he_o and_o condemn_v yourselves_o and_o the_o state_n and_o spirit_n in_o which_o you_o stand_v and_o act_v as_o unworthy_a to_o stand_v up_o in_o his_o name_n and_o presence_n so_o far_o you_o will_v give_v he_o glory_n and_o make_v he_o to_o be_v honour_v and_o fear_v in_o the_o world_n can_v you_o and_o i_o come_v forth_o and_o open_o declare_v that_o god_n may_v use_v we_o and_o all_o man_n and_o all_o our_o zeal_n and_o religion_n in_o what_o service_n he_o please_v but_o that_o he_o will_v not_o suffer_v either_o we_o or_o any_o other_o to_o reign_v with_o he_o so_o long_o as_o any_o thing_n of_o a_o private_a self-seeking_a proud_a or_o cruel_a spirit_n remain_v in_o we_o this_o lively_a and_o experimental_a testimony_n will_v make_v he_o to_o be_v honour_v and_o fear_v and_o shall_v i_o and_o you_o say_v and_o confess_v that_o the_o bless_a god_n have_v such_o love_n to_o mankind_n that_o he_o will_v suffer_v neither_o i_o nor_o you_o to_o have_v place_n in_o his_o church_n till_o we_o can_v love_v and_o forgive_v all_o and_o bear_v the_o sin_n and_o curse_n of_o all_o man_n we_o shall_v thereby_o render_v he_o love_v and_o honour_v for_o this_o indeed_o be_v and_o always_o be_v his_o mind_n he_o will_v not_o give_v the_o kingdom_n to_o jesus_n till_o he_o manifest_v this_o spirit_n in_o he_o neither_o do_v christ_n desire_v it_o upon_o any_o other_o term_n you_o may_v speak_v and_o do_v as_o you_o will_v but_o this_o be_v my_o sense_n and_o experience_n therefore_o god_n have_v bring_v i_o down_o and_o make_v i_o taste_v death_n again_o and_o again_o because_o he_o will_v not_o endure_v i_o to_o stand_v or_o to_o minister_v before_o his_o throne_n till_o i_o can_v bear_v and_o forgive_v all_o the_o folly_n and_o sin_n of_o those_o to_o who_o i_o minister_v and_o till_o by_o frequent_a death_n and_o rejection_n he_o have_v kill_v that_o root_n of_o enmity_n to_o man_n that_o curse_v they_o and_o bring_v forth_o that_o love_n
that_o can_v be_v accurse_v for_o they_o it_o be_v his_o way_n it_o be_v his_o nature_n he_o deal_v so_o with_o christ_n and_o therefore_o must_v be_v justify_v and_o honour_v for_o it_o and_o so_o i_o do_v with_o my_o soul_n and_o desire_v office_n and_o employment_n in_o his_o church_n upon_o no_o other_o term_n bless_a for_o ever_o be_v his_o holy_a name_n for_o it_o in_o my_o heart_n and_o bless_v be_v his_o name_n in_o this_o church_n and_o nation_n and_o let_v all_o his_o people_n say_v amen_o for_o he_o will_v establish_v only_o such_o minister_n over_o they_o in_o his_o house_n as_o be_v of_o he_o and_o his_o son_n mind_n and_o spirit_n god_n may_v and_o do_v for_o a_o time_n employ_v other_o spirit_n to_o do_v base_a service_n to_o break_v afflict_v and_o punish_v so_o long_o as_o there_o be_v proud_a flesh_n to_o be_v subdue_v but_o none_o shall_v be_v admit_v to_o minister_v heal_v life_n and_o salvation_n but_o such_o as_o be_v of_o this_o spirit_n the_o form_n or_o title_n be_v title_n and_o the_o question_n be_v not_o great_a who_o or_o which_o but_o this_o be_v the_o nature_n and_o spirit_n choose_v of_o god_n to_o rule_v his_o people_n last_o let_v i_o assure_v you_o under_o the_o word_n and_o oath_n of_o jesus_n very_o very_o except_o you_o be_v bear_v again_o you_o can_v see_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n joh._n 3.3_o except_o you_o be_v bear_v out_o of_o this_o earthly_a sensual_a darkness_n into_o heavenly_a light_n out_o of_o this_o heathenish_a or_o legal_a spirit_n into_o the_o largeness_n of_o heaven_n you_o can_v so_o much_o as_o see_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n so_o long_o as_o you_o think_v that_o it_o consist_v in_o a_o multitude_n of_o prayer_n in_o the_o open_n of_o scripture_n in_o fleshly_a strive_v for_o earthly_a liberty_n and_o earthly_a power_n you_o do_v not_o you_o can_v see_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n alas_o you_o admire_v yourselves_o your_o zeal_n and_o intention_n your_o gift_n and_o notion_n but_o what_o be_v those_o to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o jesus_n christ_n which_o be_v over_o all_o thing_n in_o heaven_n in_o earth_n and_o under_o the_o earth_n over_o all_o thing_n first_o in_o heaven_n he_o employ_v innumerable_a angel_n and_o all_o their_o holiness_n power_n and_o light_n in_o distinct_a age_n and_o place_n and_o bring_v they_o forth_o successive_o to_o act_v their_o part_n and_o to_o show_v the_o utmost_a of_o their_o strength_n and_o wisdom_n in_o govern_v the_o world_n and_o when_o he_o have_v do_v with_o they_o folds_z they_o up_o as_o a_o vesture_n lay_v they_o aside_o and_o change_v they_o for_o other_o possible_o all_o that_o you_o have_v attain_v to_o may_v not_o amount_v tb_fw-mi one_o angel_n be_v it_o what_o it_o will_v you_o can_v but_o confess_v one_o angel_n only_a minister_n and_o serve_v in_o those_o spirit_n he_o have_v lay_v infinite_a variety_n of_o gift_n in_o man_n nature_n and_o know_v how_o to_o use_v they_o all_o and_o will_v have_v a_o time_n for_o every_o purpose_n and_o as_o he_o will_v draw_v out_o the_o good_a of_o every_o man_n of_o what_o degree_n soever_o so_o the_o evil_a of_o every_o man_n all_o man_n lust_n and_o corruption_n must_v be_v draw_v out_o and_o judge_v in_o one_o state_n of_o thing_n man_n religion_n and_o gift_n lie_v uppermost_a and_o cover_v their_o sin_n that_o religion_n must_v have_v a_o time_n to_o work_v and_o have_v honour_n or_o reward_v for_o that_o work_n and_o when_o it_o be_v wear_v out_o it_o must_v as_o a_o old_a garment_n be_v lay_v aside_o and_o then_o that_o evil_a that_o be_v under_o that_o form_n of_o godliness_n must_v be_v see_v show_v forth_o and_o punish_v in_o another_o state_n the_o good_a may_v lie_v under_o the_o evil_n god_n have_v a_o work_n and_o a_o object_n prepare_v for_o that_o evil_n when_o its_o work_n be_v do_v than_o the_o good_a will_v rise_v and_o have_v its_o time_n and_o place_n three_o as_o christ_n rule_v all_o angel_n and_o man_n so_o all_o devil_n all_o infernal_a spirit_n and_o will_v bring_v they_o forth_o out_o of_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n into_o his_o own_o house_n and_o city_n and_o give_v they_o their_o time_n and_o place_n to_o show_v forth_o all_o the_o evil_a that_o be_v in_o they_o and_o thereby_o judge_v they_o and_o then_o cast_v they_o into_o the_o lake_n of_o fire_n for_o ever_o and_o there_o be_v various_a sort_n and_o kind_n of_o flesh_n or_o humane_a weakness_n for_o they_o to_o feed_v upon_o in_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n what_o be_v they_o they_o do_v challenge_v and_o must_v have_v first_o for_o word_n and_o action_n and_o then_o for_o shame_n and_o punishment_n and_o if_o we_o do_v in_o the_o least_o see_v the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n we_o shall_v be_v content_a to_o take_v our_o lot_n in_o any_o of_o these_o or_o in_o all_o of_o they_o as_o it_o please_v god_n to_o dispose_v of_o we_o if_o your_o mind_n be_v enlarge_v into_o the_o sight_n and_o view_v of_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n and_o the_o continuance_n of_o it_o in_o all_o age_n everlasting_o you_o will_v with_o submission_n and_o joy_n consider_v and_o behold_v the_o present_a work_n of_o god_n upon_o yourselves_o and_o upon_o the_o nation_n but_o so_o long_o as_o you_o be_v shut_v up_o in_o that_o narrow_a spirit_n and_o limit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n to_o such_o a_o poor_a inconsiderable_a temporary_a thing_n as_o your_o present_a dispensation_n and_o service_n you_o can_v understand_v any_o thing_n of_o it_o therefore_o know_v that_o you_o be_v in_o darkness_n and_o know_v not_o whither_o you_o go_v you_o be_v quite_o out_o of_o the_o way_n to_o christ_n kingdom_n sect_n xiii_o we_o will_v suppose_v likewise_o that_o you_o do_v desire_v holiness_n and_o that_o your_o trouble_n be_v either_o that_o you_o or_o the_o nation_n be_v no_o more_o holy_a and_o therefore_o in_o zeal_n for_o reformation_n you_o go_v forth_o against_o the_o present_a state_n of_o thing_n as_o unholy_a denounce_v wrath_n against_o it_o and_o seek_v the_o destruction_n of_o it_o herein_o likewise_o you_o be_v extreme_o blind_v by_o enmity_n for_o first_o that_o holiness_n which_o you_o profess_v and_o in_o which_o you_o live_v be_v not_o the_o holiness_n of_o christ_n you_o be_v not_o holy_a as_o he_o be_v holy_a and_o therefore_o it_o can_v stand_v before_o he_o it_o neither_o be_v nor_o shall_v be_v accept_v to_o reign_v with_o he_o it_o may_v do_v he_o service_n be_v a_o scourge_n in_o his_o hand_n it_o may_v stand_v before_o man_n before_o worse_a man_n in_o the_o field_n it_o may_v stand_v before_o man_n worldly_a passion_n and_o lust_n before_o the_o law_n of_o man_n and_o their_o punishment_n it_o may_v stand_v before_o prison_n and_o chain_n yea_o before_o death_n itself_o and_o so_o will_v the_o holiness_n of_o moral_a man_n heathen_n or_o jew_n and_o of_o all_o sort_n of_o christian_n but_o it_o can_v it_o shall_v not_o stand_v before_o god_n 1._o it_o be_v impure_a 2._o it_o be_v imperfect_a in_o its_o kind_n 3._o it_o be_v fleshly_a and_o fade_a 4._o it_o be_v not_o a_o holy_a nature_n 5._o it_o be_v not_o holiness_n that_o can_v take_v away_o sin_n 6._o it_o be_v not_o holiness_n that_o can_v take_v away_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n and_o therefore_o not_o the_o holiness_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n second_o as_o it_o be_v short_a in_o its_o kind_n and_o insufficient_a to_o answer_v the_o perfect_a and_o good_a will_n of_o god_n either_o in_o your_o own_o soul_n or_o upon_o the_o nation_n so_o it_o be_v corrupt_v open_o deface_v and_o for_o guilt_n reject_v because_o it_o be_v pollute_v it_o be_v not_o your_o rest_n to_o abide_v and_o persist_v in_o a_o way_n and_o state_n disow_v and_o refuse_v by_o god_n be_v not_o only_a sloth_n and_o ignorance_n but_o unbelief_n and_o disobedience_n god_n never_o pull_v down_o one_o dispensation_n but_o he_o provide_v another_o if_o you_o be_v
man_n for_o a_o outward_a liberty_n they_o will_v rather_o suffer_v from_o they_o than_o so_o acknowledge_v they_o therefore_o liberty_n of_o conscience_n will_v be_v find_v a_o new_a and_o upstart_a thing_n bear_v in_o this_o age_n among_o many_o other_o weak_a thing_n and_o that_o it_o be_v not_o of_o the_o old_a race_n of_o the_o right_n generous_a and_o heavenly_a saint_n it_o may_v be_v pity_v and_o indulge_v but_o can_v challenge_v much_o three_o this_o liberty_n of_o conscience_n seek_v earthly_a thing_n and_o outward_a freedom_n which_o be_v not_o only_o for_o conscience_n or_o but_o for_o a_o outward_a and_o earthly_a conscience_n and_o with_o that_o for_o worldly_a ease_n honour_n and_o advantage_n for_o conscience_n if_o the_o son_n make_v he_o free_a and_o so_o he_o be_v free_a indeed_o it_o can_v and_o do_v live_v with_o god_n and_o with_o man_n in_o heaven_n and_o in_o earth_n and_o under_o the_o earth_n in_o bond_n chain_n and_o death_n and_o be_v still_o free_a with_o god_n and_o christ_n and_o can_v be_v confine_v it_o be_v therefore_o some_o outward_a thing_n that_o be_v plead_v for_o as_o well_o as_o or_o more_o then_o liberty_n of_o conscience_n four_o it_o be_v a_o common_a observation_n that_o man_n while_o they_o have_v be_v under_o their_o enemy_n and_o in_o a_o low_a condition_n than_o they_o cry_v up_o liberty_n of_o conscience_n but_o when_o
