any_o understanding_n christian_n may_v spend_v many_o year_n in_o think_v of_o a_o inheritance_n immortal_a undefiled_a and_o that_o never_o fade_v away_o 2._o to_o meditate_v of_o the_o happiness_n joy_n whether_o thou_o be_v a_o person_n qualify_v to_o go_v to_o heaven_n and_o then_o to_o meditate_v how_o thou_o may_v do_v to_o get_v to_o be_v qualify_v to_o go_v to_o that_o holy_a place_n in_o which_o no_o unclean_a person_n shall_v ever_o enter_v that_o be_v the_o first_o rule_n 2._o i_o will_v have_v you_o use_v variety_n in_o your_o meditation_n i_o will_v not_o have_v you_o always_o dwell_v upon_o one_o subject_n the_o strong_a stomach_n will_v loathe_v to_o eat_v always_o of_o one_o dish_n and_o therefore_o i_o give_v you_o in_o several_a particular_n to_o meditate_v upon_o i_o give_v you_o a_o large_a field_n to_o walk_v in_o and_o i_o do_v this_o the_o rather_o that_o so_o you_o may_v have_v matter_n enough_o you_o may_v not_o be_v draw_v dry_a for_o want_n of_o subject_n of_o hell_n sometime_o of_o heaven_n sometime_o of_o the_o sinfulness_n of_o sin_n sometime_o of_o the_o love_n of_o christ._n so_o i_o will_v have_v you_o walk_v in_o the_o garden_n of_o divine_a meditation_n from_o flower_n to_o flower_n that_o you_o may_v take_v the_o more_o delight_n and_o content_v in_o it_o the_o three_o rule_n be_v this_o be_v sure_a to_o pick_v out_o such_o subject_n to_o meditate_v upon_o especial_o which_o do_v most_o of_o all_o work_n compunction_n in_o the_o heart_n that_o do_v most_o of_o all_o stir_v up_o holiness_n and_o provoke_v you_o to_o godliness_n and_o piety_n of_o this_o kind_n be_v the_o meditation_n of_o the_o incarnation_n of_o christ_n the_o meditation_n of_o the_o life_n and_o death_n and_o resurrection_n and_o ascension_n of_o christ._n it_o be_v a_o meditation_n if_o the_o lord_n bless_v it_o that_o will_v mighty_o provoke_v you_o to_o holiness_n and_o to_o piety_n and_o to_o thankfulness_n so_o the_o meditation_n of_o death_n be_v few_o of_o those_o that_o spend_v many_o hour_n in_o meditate_v when_o the_o jew_n shall_v be_v convert_v and_o in_o find_v out_o the_o time_n when_o the_o great_a slaughter_n and_o massacre_n of_o the_o two_o witness_n speak_v of_o in_o rev._n 11._o shall_v happen_v and_o in_o study_v out_o the_o meaning_n of_o the_o prophecy_n of_o daniel_n and_o the_o revelation_n to_o know_v whether_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o personal_a reign_n of_o christ_n a_o thousand_o year_n upon_o earth_n and_o when_o that_o shall_v happen_v now_o you_o shall_v observe_v that_o these_o man_n be_v very_o christ_n and_o more_o conformable_a to_o his_o death_n and_o resurrection_n it_o be_v true_a a_o great_a understanding_n and_o a_o acute_a wit_n will_v make_v a_o learned_a man_n but_o it_o be_v the_o grace_n study_v the_o promise_v god_n have_v make_v not_o only_o to_o give_v pardon_n to_o they_o that_o repent_v but_o the_o promise_v god_n have_v make_v to_o give_v repentance_n to_o those_o that_o ask_v it_o god_n have_v not_o only_o promise_v to_o give_v pardon_n to_o those_o that_o believe_v and_o repent_v but_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o give_v repentance_n act._n 5._o 31._o and_o god_n
