of_o the_o wicked_a &_o yet_o rejoice_v in_o the_o prosperity_n of_o the_o saint_n if_o we_o be_v envy_a &_o mint_v even_o in_o the_o least_o portion_n in_o this_o life_n so_o that_o the_o least_o be_v think_v too_o much_o that_o go_v beside_o the_o world_n mouth_n if_o we_o be_v account_v sign_n and_o wonder_n in_o 15._o the_o world_n and_o be_v make_v spectacle_n to_o man_n and_o angel_n if_o we_o be_v esteem_v singular_a and_o like_o no_o body_n man_n not_o fit_a for_o society_n not_o worthy_a to_o live_v if_o as_o the_o world_n will_v fain_o be_v rid_v of_o we_o so_o we_o be_v desirous_a to_o be_v rid_v of_o it_o groan_v daily_o under_o the_o burden_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o yet_o bear_v patient_o such_o affliction_n as_o serve_v to_o purge_v our_o corruption_n yet_o so_o that_o we_o see_v by_o faith_n our_o final_a deliverance_n &_o earnest_o sigh_v to_o put_v off_o this_o body_n of_o sin_n by_o these_o mark_n we_o shall_v know_v that_o we_o be_v stranger_n in_o the_o world_n by_o these_o we_o may_v be_v sure_a that_o we_o be_v citizen_n with_o the_o saint_n and_o so_o shall_v we_o dwell_v in_o the_o tent_n of_o shem_n not_o only_o continue_v constant_a in_o the_o sincerity_n of_o religion_n but_o also_o dwell_v in_o the_o house_n of_o god_n for_o ever_o even_o in_o that_o house_n which_o be_v not_o make_v with_o hand_n but_o eternal_a in_o the_o heaven_n so_o it_o follow_v god_n persuade_v japheth_n to_o dwell_v in_o the_o tent_n of_o shem._n 1._o though_o we_o be_v stranger_n in_o the_o world_n and_o to_o the_o same_o yet_o we_o be_v not_o stranger_n and_o passenger_n in_o the_o church_n here_o we_o dwell_v if_o we_o be_v lively_a member_n if_o they_o go_v out_o from_o we_o they_o be_v use_v none_o of_o we_o the_o true_a member_n of_o christ_n jesus_n dwell_v in_o the_o church_n not_o inneth_n for_o a_o day_n and_o so_o be_v go_v but_o abide_v and_o continue_v constant_a unto_o the_o end_n he_o that_o be_v plant_v in_o the_o house_n of_o god_n abide_v in_o the_o court_n of_o the_o house_n of_o god_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o have_v a_o taste_n of_o the_o heavenly_a gift_n it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a to_o begin_v in_o the_o spirit_n for_o such_o may_v end_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o fall_v away_o without_o recovery_n to_o rejoice_v in_o god_n word_n for_o a_o season_n and_o to_o bring_v forth_o righteousness_n as_o the_o morning_n dew_n this_o be_v the_o propriety_n of_o pharisy_n and_o the_o just_a challenge_n of_o hypocrite_n and_o apostate_n and_o be_v there_o not_o great_a reason_n why_o we_o shall_v be_v constant_a in_o the_o worship_n of_o the_o almighty_a be_v not_o our_o god_n eternal_a and_o therefore_o will_v have_v continual_a service_n do_v he_o not_o bind_v we_o hereto_o with_o everlasting_a bond_n of_o love_n do_v he_o not_o further_o and_o enable_v we_o by_o continual_a mean_n give_v we_o his_o spirit_n to_o abide_v with_o we_o for_o ever_o provide_v a_o mediator_n to_o make_v saint_n to_o try_v their_o sincerity_n by_o their_o abide_n in_o god_n house_n how_o ought_v they_o to_o labour_v constancy_n and_o perseverance_n to_o the_o end_n sure_o 1._o if_o religion_n they_o shall_v be_v settle_v in_o judgement_n that_o they_o can_v never_o be_v sufficient_o holy_a because_o the_o great_a measure_n in_o this_o life_n be_v too_o short_a if_o the_o lord_n measure_v it_o by_o his_o justice_n if_o they_o shall_v be_v faithful_a in_o the_o practice_n and_o power_n of_o godliness_n propose_v jesus_n christ_n to_o be_v the_o pattern_n and_o reward_n of_o welldoing_a level_v it_o by_o the_o word_n not_o by_o example_n or_o custom_n if_o they_o shall_v have_v respect_o to_o all_o god_n commandment_n not_o claim_v immunity_n from_o the_o least_o nor_o despair_v to_o attain_v the_o great_a as_o desire_v and_o purpose_v more_o than_o possible_o they_o can_v do_v and_o yet_o do_v more_o than_o the_o ordinary_a service_n though_o it_o be_v of_o the_o most_o righteous_a and_o vainglorious_a 20_o pharisee_n if_o they_o shall_v be_v watchful_a over_o their_o way_n redeem_v the_o time_n and_o neglect_v no_o occasion_n to_o make_v sure_a their_o election_n grace_n that_o thy_o god_n have_v bestow_v on_o thou_o security_n and_o have_v thou_o hence_o grow_v secure_a and_o careless_a of_o welldoing_a and_o yet_o presumptuous_a of_o god_n mercy_n spend_v on_o thâ—_n former_a stock_n as_o if_o thou_o have_v no_o further_o need_v of_o christ_n jesus_n presumption_n or_o be_v so_o full_a of_o he_o that_o thy_o cup_n run_v over_o not_o with_o sound_a in_o thy_o call_n and_o thy_o conscionable_a use_n of_o the_o mean_n have_v thou_o grow_v faint_a when_o there_o be_v food_n abundant_o and_o unprofitable_a in_o the_o wholesome_a word_n of_o life_n thy_o case_n have_v be_v more_o singular_a and_o so_o then_o the_o more_o doubtful_a but_o if_o david_n be_v without_o mean_n of_o preservation_n give_v way_n to_o tentation_n and_o so_o be_v ensnare_v therewith_o though_o he_o fall_v grievous_o rule_n yet_o he_o shall_v rise_v again_o and_o his_o rise_a be_v effect_v by_o the_o true_a and_o lively_a mean_n namely_o the_o reproof_n oâ—_n nathan_n and_o his_o obedience_n thereunto_o shall_v both_o give_v evidence_n that_o his_o fall_n be_v recoverable_a as_o be_v through_o neglect_n of_o the_o mean_n and_o that_o his_o recovery_n be_v sound_a and_o effectual_a as_o be_v wrought_v rule_n by_o the_o true_a mean_n indeed_o i_o confess_v the_o lord_n may_v work_v extraordinarilie_o in_o some_o particular_n as_o that_o job_n may_v fall_v for_o his_o trial_n and_o yet_o use_v the_o mean_n conscionable_o stand_v faithful_o in_o his_o call_n yet_o trial_n see_v the_o end_n of_o god_n trial_n be_v so_o to_o justify_v the_o soundness_n of_o his_o stand_n as_o yet_o to_o discover_v some_o imperfection_n therein_o that_o so_o by_o this_o trial_n he_o may_v be_v lead_v forward_o to_o perfection_n may_v we_o not_o challenge_v job_n of_o imperfection_n and_o so_o of_o fail_v in_o the_o measure_n of_o his_o call_n which_o though_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o principal_o intend_v to_o chastise_v in_o this_o his_o gracious_a trial_n but_o rather_o to_o try_v the_o soundness_n and_o truth_n thereof_o yet_o do_v he_o by_o this_o exercise_n both_o prevent_v apostasy_n and_o also_o most_o happy_o further_o to_o perfection_n and_o may_v not_o job_n be_v subject_a to_o spiruall_a wickedness_n as_o spiritual_a pride_n discover_v by_o his_o impatiency_n censuring_n &c_n &c_n howsoever_o he_o can_v not_o be_v charge_v with_o gross_a open_a crime_n which_o be_v far_o more_o dangerous_a than_o any_o outward_a evil_n be_v therefore_o more_o necessary_o though_o not_o to_o be_v punish_v of_o god_n as_o a_o enemy_n yet_o to_o be_v purge_v out_o of_o the_o lord_n as_o a_o gracious_a father_n and_o that_o with_o a_o sharp_a medicicine_n answerable_a to_o such_o a_o disease_n 10._o sure_o though_o the_o holy_a man_n reach_v at_o a_o high_a matter_n yet_o do_v he_o not_o unwilling_o acknowledge_v god_n
