i_o can_v enter_v into_o heaven_n what_o shall_v i_o do_v oh_o that_o i_o may_v die_v like_o a_o beast_n and_o lie_v in_o a_o benumb_a state_n of_o death_n for_o ever_o free_a from_o all_o sense_n titheable_a and_o it_o be_v disputable_a by_o many_o of_o their_o lawyer_n whether_o they_o be_v titheable_a or_o not_o yet_o the_o pharisee_n for_o their_o part_n lest_o they_o may_v seem_v to_o have_v do_v but_o he_o add_v withal_o by_o way_n of_o reproof_n you_o have_v omit_v the_o weighty_a matter_n of_o the_o law_n judgement_n mercy_n and_o faith_n and_o here_o their_o righteousness_n fall_v short_a so_o reader_n think_v thou_o may_v be_v a_o incourager_n of_o religion_n in_o the_o place_n where_o thou_o be_v may_v give_v free_o and_o liberal_o to_o the_o maintain_n of_o a_o godly_a minister_n where_o thou_o live_v which_o the_o lord_n christ_n approve_v of_o and_o commend_v yet_o except_o thou_o do_v somewhat_o more_o this_o will_v not_o do_v thou_o may_v still_o remain_v in_o a_o state_n of_o perdition_n 5_o they_o be_v charitable_a to_o the_o poor_a this_o likewise_o thou_o have_v acknowledge_v from_o the_o mouth_n of_o christ_n matth._n 6.2_o when_o thou_o do_v thy_o alm_n do_v not_o sound_v a_o trumpet_n before_o thou_o as_o the_o hypocrite_n do_v mean_v the_o pharisee_n in_o the_o synagogue_n and_o in_o the_o street_n that_o they_o may_v have_v praise_n of_o man_n very_o i_o say_v unto_o you_o they_o have_v their_o reward_n that_o be_v the_o value_n of_o many_o a_o penny_n or_o shilling_n they_o throw_v into_o the_o poor_n box_n at_o church_n and_o many_o piece_n of_o bread_n at_o their_o door_n many_o a_o penny_n or_o taster_n they_o distribute_v by_o the_o high_a way_n and_o street_n and_o many_o a_o beggar_n cry_v out_o after_o they_o god_n bless_v you_o master_n and_o yet_o they_o be_v all_o this_o while_n but_o pharisee_n and_o curse_v of_o god_n for_o the_o text_n be_v plain_a that_o they_o shall_v never_o be_v save_v it_o say_v they_o have_v their_o reward_n already_o oh_o therefore_o reader_n dare_v not_o to_o sit_v down_o here_o unless_o thou_o intend_v to_o bear_v they_o company_n to_o the_o gate_n of_o hell_n where_o thou_o may_v easy_o enter_v with_o they_o but_o it_o be_v impossible_a ever_o to_o get_v out_o 6_o they_o be_v more_o righteous_a yet_o for_o they_o be_v a_o pray_a people_n and_o christ_n
