so_o full_a of_o his_o goodness_n be_v so_o empty_a of_o his_o praise_n from_o they_o that_o enjoy_v and_o live_v upon_o it_o how_o far_o be_v the_o great_a part_n from_o make_v this_o their_o great_a thing_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n true_a some_o there_o be_v but_o as_o his_o meaning_n be_v so_o few_o that_o they_o be_v as_o it_o be_v drown_v and_o smother_v in_o the_o crowd_n of_o self_n seeker_n so_o that_o they_o appear_v not_o after_o all_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n upon_o we_o how_o do_v still_o luxury_n and_o excess_n uncleanness_n and_o all_o kind_n of_o profaneness_n outdare_v the_o very_a light_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o rule_n of_o holiness_n shine_v in_o it_o scarce_o any_o thing_n a_o matter_n of_o common_a shame_n and_o scorn_v but_o the_o power_n of_o godliness_n turn_v indeed_o our_o true_a glory_n into_o shame_n and_o glory_v in_o that_o which_o be_v indeed_o our_o shame_n holiness_n not_o only_o our_o true_a glory_n but_o that_o wherein_o the_o ever_o glorious_a god_n do_v especial_o glory_n and_o have_v make_v know_v himself_o so_o much_o by_o that_o name_n the_o holy_a god_n and_o that_o which_o be_v the_o express_a stile_n of_o his_o glorious_a praise_n utter_v by_o seraphim_n isa._n 6._o holy_a holy_a holy_a be_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n the_o whole_a earth_n be_v full_a of_o his_o glory_n instead_o of_o sanctify_v and_o the_o child_n of_o men._n inf._n 2._o but_o what_o wonder_n that_o the_o lord_n lose_v the_o reverence_n of_o his_o praise_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o common_a ungodly_a world_n when_o even_o his_o own_o people_n fall_v so_o far_o behind_o in_o it_o as_o usual_o they_o do_v the_o dead_a can_v praise_v he_o but_o that_o they_o that_o he_o have_v quicken_v by_o his_o spirit_n shall_v yet_o be_v temper_n 1._o labour_v to_o have_v our_o heart_n bring_v to_o a_o due_a disposition_n for_o his_o praise_n and_o 1._o that_o they_o be_v spiritual_a spiritual_a service_n require_v that_o but_o this_o most_o as_o be_v indeed_o the_o most_o spiritual_a of_o all_o affection_n to_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o earth_n draw_v down_o the_o soul_n and_o make_v it_o so_o low_o set_v that_o it_o can_v rise_v to_o the_o height_n of_o a_o song_n of_o praise_n and_o thus_o if_o we_o observe_v ourselves_o we_o will_v find_v that_o when_o we_o let_v our_o heart_n fall_v and_o entangle_v themselves_o in_o any_o inferior_a desire_n and_o delight_n as_o they_o be_v unfit_a general_o for_o holy_a thing_n so_o especial_o for_o the_o praise_n of_o our_o holy_a god_n creature_n love_v abase_v the_o soul_n and_o turn_v it_o to_o earth_n and_o praise_n be_v altogether_o heavenly_a 2._o seek_v a_o heart_n purify_v from_o self-love_n and_o possess_v with_o the_o love_n of_o god_n the_o heart_n that_o be_v rule_v by_o its_o own_o interest_n be_v scarce_o ever_o content_a still_o subject_a to_o new_a disquiet_n self_n be_v a_o vex_a thing_n for_o ready_o all_o thing_n do_v not_o suit_v our_o humour_n and_o will_n and_o the_o least_o touch_n that_o be_v wrong_n to_o a_o selfish_a mind_n distemper_n it_o and_o disrelish_v all_o the_o good_a thing_n about_o it_o a_o childish_a condition_n it_o be_v if_o cross_v but_o in_o a_o toy_n throw_v away_o all_o whence_o be_v our_o frequent_a fretting_n and_o grumble_n and_o that_o we_o can_v drown_v a_o hundred_o high_a favour_n in_o one_o little_a displeasure_n and_o still_o our_o finger_n be_v upon_o that_o string_n more_o malcontent_a and_o repine_a for_o one_o little_a cross_n than_o praise_n for_o all_o the_o mercy_n we_o have_v receive_v be_v not_o this_o evident_o the_o self-love_n that_o abound_v in_o we_o whereas_o be_v the_o love_n of_o god_n predominant_a in_o we_o we_o will_v love_v his_o do_n and_o disposal_n and_o bless_v his_o name_n in_o all_o whatsoever_o be_v his_o will_n will_v in_o that_o view_n be_v amiable_a and_o sweet_a to_o we_o however_o in_o itself_o harsh_a and_o unpleasant_a thus_o will_v we_o say_v in_o all_o this_o be_v the_o will_n and_o the_o hand_n of_o my_o father_n who_o do_v all_o wise_o and_o well_o bless_a be_v his_o name_n the_o soul_n thus_o frame_v will_v praise_v in_o the_o deep_a of_o trouble_n not_o only_o in_o outward_a affliction_n but_o in_o the_o sad_a inward_a condition_n will_v be_v still_o extol_v god_n and_o say_v however_o he_o deal_v with_o i_o he_o be_v worthy_a to_o be_v love_v and_o praise_v he_o be_v great_a and_o holy_a he_o be_v good_a and_o graâ—cious_a and_o whatsoever_o be_v his_o way_n and_o thought_n towards_o i_o i_o wish_v he_o glory_n if_o he_o will_v be_v please_v to_o give_v i_o light_n and_o refreshment_n bless_v be_v he_o and_o if_o he_o will_v have_v i_o to_o be_v darkness_n again_o bless_v be_v he_o glory_n to_o his_o name_n yea_o what_o though_o he_o shall_v utter_o reject_v i_o be_v he_o not_o for_o that_o to_o be_v account_v infinite_o merciful_a in_o the_o save_n of_o other_o must_v he_o cease_v to_o be_v praise_n worthy_a for_o
