who_o prove_v the_o resurrection_n out_o of_o the_o word_n of_o moses_n say_v thus_o that_o the_o dead_a be_v raise_v even_o moses_n show_v at_o the_o bush_n when_o he_o call_v the_o lord_n the_o god_n of_o abraham_n and_o the_o god_n of_o isaac_n and_o the_o god_n of_o jacob_n for_o he_o be_v not_o a_o god_n of_o the_o dead_a but_o of_o the_o live_n for_o they_o all_o live_v to_o he_o but_o if_o these_o word_n be_v to_o be_v understand_v only_o of_o the_o immortality_n of_o the_o soul_n they_o prove_v not_o at_o all_o that_o which_o our_o saviour_n intend_v to_o prove_v which_o be_v the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o body_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o immortality_n of_o the_o man._n therefore_o our_o saviour_n mean_v that_o those_o patriarch_n be_v immortal_a not_o by_o a_o property_n consequent_a to_o the_o essence_n and_o nature_n of_o mankind_n but_o by_o the_o will_n of_o god_n that_o be_v please_v of_o his_o mere_a grace_n to_o bestow_v eternal_a life_n upon_o the_o faithful_a and_o though_o at_o that_o time_n the_o patriarch_n and_o many_o other_o faithful_a man_n be_v dead_a yet_o as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o text_n they_o live_v to_o god_n that_o be_v they_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n with_o they_o that_o be_v absolve_v of_o their_o sin_n and_o ordain_v to_o life_n eternal_a at_o the_o resurrection_n that_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v in_o its_o own_o nature_n eternal_a and_o a_o live_a creature_n inpedendent_a on_o the_o body_n or_o that_o any_o mere_a man_n be_v immortal_a otherwise_o than_o by_o the_o resurrection_n in_o the_o last_o day_n except_o enos_n and_o elias_n be_v a_o doctrine_n nor_o apparent_a in_o scripture_n the_o whole_a 14._o chapter_n of_o job_n which_o be_v the_o speech_n not_o of_o his_o friend_n but_o of_o himself_o be_v a_o complaint_n of_o this_o mortality_n of_o nature_n and_o yet_o no_o contradiction_n of_o the_o immortality_n at_o the_o resurrection_n there_o be_v hope_n of_o a_o tree_n say_v he_o
