how_o preposterious_o then_o do_v those_o gentleman_n go_v to_o work_n that_o will_v measure_v the_o be_v and_o property_n of_o the_o infinite_a god_n by_o their_o weak_a and_o imperfect_a reason_n to_o we_o from_o his_o work_n of_o creation_n and_o providence_n no_o nor_o from_o his_o word_n neither_o without_o the_o aid_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o that_o in_o a_o especial_a manner_n we_o see_v this_o by_o the_o heathen_a who_o be_v as_o great_a master_n of_o reason_n as_o any_o of_o our_o present_a pretender_n and_o yet_o be_v far_o enough_o from_o a_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o how_o can_v they_o for_o who_o know_v the_o mind_n of_o god_n much_o less_o the_o nature_n but_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o he_o to_o who_o he_o reveal_v he_o but_o let_v we_o consider_v the_o knowledge_n that_o god_n give_v we_o of_o himself_o by_o creation_n and_o see_v what_o improvement_n reason_n can_v make_v of_o it_o we_o see_v a_o visible_a world_n and_o therefore_o reasonable_a hope_n of_o the_o pardon_n of_o their_o sin_n or_o of_o eternal_a life_n by_o the_o revelation_n that_o god_n have_v make_v of_o himself_o by_o the_o work_v of_o creation_n and_o providence_n if_o you_o tell_v i_o you_o may_v hope_v for_o mercy_n because_o you_o be_v the_o work_n of_o his_o hand_n his_o mercy_n be_v over_o all_o his_o work_n i_o answer_v the_o devil_n may_v
