receive_v a_o sure_a reward_n for_o as_o the_o apostle_n reason_n god_n be_v not_o unrighteous_a to_o forget_v our_o work_n and_o labour_n of_o love_n very_o there_o be_v a_o reward_n for_o the_o righteous_a as_o sure_a as_o there_o be_v a_o god_n that_o judge_v in_o the_o earth_n but_o how_o great_a and_o glorious_a that_o shall_v be_v i_o be_o not_o in_o any_o measure_n able_a to_o declare_v to_o you_o it_o may_v suffice_v that_o the_o scripture_n have_v assure_v we_o in_o general_a that_o god_n be_v the_o rewarder_n of_o good_a man_n and_o that_o he_o will_v make_v they_o happy_a not_o according_a to_o what_o can_v now_o enter_v into_o our_o narrow_a thought_n but_o according_a to_o the_o exceed_a greatness_n of_o his_o power_n and_o goodness_n if_o we_o be_v to_o receive_v our_o reward_n from_o god_n we_o need_v not_o doubt_n but_o it_o will_v be_v very_o large_a and_o such_o as_o be_v every_o way_n worthy_a of_o he_o to_o bestow_v for_o he_o be_v a_o great_a king_n and_o of_o great_a goodness_n and_o we_o may_v safe_o refer_v ourselves_o to_o he_o in_o confidence_n that_o he_o will_v consider_v we_o not_o according_a to_o the_o meanness_n of_o our_o service_n but_o according_a to_o the_o vastness_n of_o his_o treasure_n and_o the_o infinite_a bounty_n of_o his_o mind_n if_o he_o have_v promise_v to_o make_v we_o happy_a though_o he_o have_v not_o particular_o declare_v to_o we_o wherein_o this_o happiness_n shall_v consist_v yet_o we_o may_v trust_v he_o that_o make_v we_o to_o find_v out_o way_n to_o make_v we_o happy_a and_o may_v believe_v that_o he_o who_o make_v we_o without_o our_o knowledge_n or_o desire_n be_v able_a to_o make_v we_o happy_a beyond_o they_o both_o only_o for_o the_o great_a encouragement_n of_o our_o holiness_n and_o which_o be_v most_o eminent_o accomplish_v in_o our_o bless_a saviour_n as_o i_o shall_v show_v by_o and_o by_o and_o i_o will_v fill_v this_o house_n with_o glory_n say_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n speak_v of_o the_o second_o temple_n which_o be_v then_o in_o building_n which_o though_o it_o fall_v very_o much_o short_a of_o solomon_n in_o point_n of_o state_n and_o magnificence_n yet_o by_o saint_n do_v pray_v for_o we_o yet_o we_o may_v not_o address_v solemn_a prayer_n to_o they_o to_o pray_v for_o we_o because_o prayer_n and_o solemn_a invocation_n be_v a_o part_n of_o that_o religious_a worship_n which_o be_v peculiar_a to_o god_n 4._o suppose_v it_o not_o only_o certain_a that_o the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n do_v pray_v for_o we_o but_o likewise_o that_o they_o may_v be_v proper_a mediator_n and_o intercessor_n with_o god_n for_o we_o yet_o we_o ought_v not_o to_o pray_v to_o they_o because_o they_o can_v hear_v we_o as_o i_o shall_v have_v occasion_n to_o show_v full_o by_o and_o by_o 3._o another_o of_o their_o pretence_n or_o excuse_n for_o this_o practice_n be_v that_o pray_v to_o saint_n to_o pray_v for_o we_o be_v no_o more_o than_o what_o we_o do_v to_o same_o humble_a posture_n and_o in_o the_o same_o religious_a office_n and_o service_n in_o which_o they_o pray_v to_o god_n which_o sure_o be_v never_o do_v by_o any_o to_o their_o brethren_n upon_o earth_n 2._o that_o in_o their_o prayer_n and_o thanksgiving_n they_o join_v the_o angel_n and_o the_o bless_a virgin_n arid_v the_o saint_n together_o with_o god_n and_o christ_n as_o if_o to_o use_v be_v frivolous_a if_o the_o same_o thing_n may_v be_v do_v to_o our_o brethren_n upon_o earth_n 4._o in_o the_o public_a office_n of_o their_o church_n they_o do_v not_o only_o pray_v to_o the_o
