some_o process_n require_v of_o i_o further_a explication_n write_v to_o i_o private_o and_o i_o will_v declare_v the_o matter_n more_o clear_o and_o give_v you_o sufficient_a instruction_n and_o although_o this_o book_n be_v very_o little_a consist_v of_o few_o word_n yet_o it_o be_v full_a of_o many_o and_o great_a secret_n for_o i_o do_v not_o here_o write_v out_o of_o speculation_n and_o theory_n but_o practical_o out_o of_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n and_o experience_n lest_o i_o shall_v burden_v you_o and_o make_v you_o weary_a with_o many_o word_n etc._n etc._n wherefore_o most_o glass_n change_v all_o thing_n from_o one_o form_n into_o another_o from_o one_o essence_n into_o another_o from_o one_o colour_n into_o another_o from_o one_o smell_v into_o another_o from_o one_o virtue_n into_o another_o from_o one_o power_n into_o another_o from_o one_o property_n into_o another_o and_o general_o from_o one_o quality_n into_o another_o for_o it_o be_v evident_a and_o prove_v by_o daily_a experience_n that_o many_o good_a thing_n which_o be_v wholesome_a and_o medicinable_a become_v after_o putrefaction_n naught_o unwholesome_a and_o mere_a poison_n so_o on_o the_o contrary_a there_o be_v many_o bad_a unwholesome_a poisonous_a and_o hurtful_a thing_n which_o after_o their_o putrefaction_n become_v good_a lose_v all_o their_o unwholsomnesse_n and_o become_v wonderful_a medicinable_a because_o putrefaction_n produce_v great_a matter_n as_o of_o this_o we_o have_v a_o most_o famous_a example_n in_o the_o holy_a gospel_n where_o christ_n say_v unless_o a_o grain_n of_o wheat_n be_v cast_v into_o the_o earth_n and_o be_v putrefy_a it_o can_v bring_v forth_o fruit_n in_o a_o hundred_o fold_n hence_o also_o we_o must_v know_v that_o many_o thing_n be_v multiply_v in_o putrefaction_n so_o as_o to_o bring_v forth_o excellent_a fruit_n for_o putrefaction_n be_v the_o change_n be_v what_o putrefaction_n be_v and_o death_n of_o all_o thing_n and_o superior_a star_n every_o one_o of_o they_o resemble_v some_o kind_n of_o they_o by_o distinct_a colour_n and_o difference_n of_o the_o earth_n for_o the_o mineral_n of_o gold_n be_v distinct_a from_o the_o mineral_n of_o silver_n so_o also_o be_v the_o mineral_n of_o silver_n from_o that_o of_o copper_n and_o the_o mineral_n of_o copper_n from_o that_o of_o iron_n so_o the_o mineral_n of_o iron_n from_o that_o of_o tin_n and_o lead_v and_o so_o of_o the_o rest_n no_o man_n can_v deny_v but_o that_o the_o mineral_n and_o all_o metallick_n body_n of_o mine_n which_o lie_v hide_v in_o the_o
