he_o have_v not_o power_n to_o touch_v one_o hair_n of_o the_o head_n except_o she_o despair_v yield_v herself_o over_o into_o his_o hand_n he_o dare_v neither_o spiritual_o take_v possession_n of_o she_o nor_o touch_v she_o only_o dart_v his_o temptation_n into_o her_o imagination_n through_o the_o complexion_n for_o this_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o he_o so_o assault_v this_o soul_n viz._n because_o the_o complexion-chamber_n be_v dark_a for_o into_o the_o light_n he_o can_v intrude_v his_o imagination_n it_o be_v man_n sin_n must_v give_v he_o entrance_n but_o into_o this_o darkness_n in_o which_o fear_n be_v a_o inhabitant_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o wild_a earth_n except_o in_o this_o respect_n he_o have_v not_o one_o spark_n more_o of_o right_n to_o or_o dominion_n in_o this_o than_o the_o other_o complexion_n he_o can_v accomplish_v no_o more_o in_o the_o imagination_n than_o only_o to_o affright_v the_o man_n and_o make_v faint-hearted_a if_o the_o soul_n through_o despair_n do_v not_o give_v over_o herself_o to_o he_o than_o he_o induce_v the_o man_n at_o last_o to_o make_v away_o himself_o for_o except_v the_o man_n first_o cast_v a_o way_n himself_o now_o metamorphose_a into_o a_o black_a deform_a devil_n first_o when_o he_o come_v with_o the_o sin-register_n and_o make_v a_o show_n of_o his_o power_n and_o free_a entrance_n he_o have_v gain_v to_o assault_v thou_o by_o no_o mean_n dispute_v with_o he_o give_v he_o to_o that_o point_n no_o answer_n but_o when_o he_o first_o onset_n the_o soul_n by_o inject_n into_o her_o imagination_n think_v god_n have_v forget_v she_o and_o will_v have_v none_o of_o she_o for_o the_o melancholy_a complexion_n be_v dark_a and_o have_v no_o light_n of_o its_o own_o as_o the_o other_o complexion_n have_v yet_o be_v not_o this_o darkness_n essential_a to_o the_o soul_n but_o be_v only_o her_o lonesome_a tabernacle_n during_o her_o pilgrimage_n here_o on_o earth_n nor_o do_v the_o soul_n holiness_n and_o righteousness_n consist_v at_o all_o in_o the_o complexion_n but_o be_v deep_o root_v viz._n in_o the_o inward_a heavenly_a principle_n where_o god_n dwell_v for_o as_o s._n paul_n
