profit_n we_o may_v reap_v thereby_o the_o three_o chapter_n touch_v that_o point_n let_v we_o first_o see_v how_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n be_v note_v unto_o we_o by_o saint_n peter_n himself_o who_o watchword_n have_v cause_v we_o to_o wade_v thus_o far_o in_o this_o matter_n in_o the_o three_o chapter_n of_o his_o second_o epistle_n god_n 2._o pet._n 3.12_o stay_v of_o judgement_n call_v the_o day_n of_o god_n saint_n peter_n call_v the_o day_n of_o judgement_n the_o day_n of_o god_n and_o though_o it_o may_v be_v say_v that_o every_o day_n be_v god_n day_n because_o he_o make_v all_o day_n yet_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n more_o peculiarly_a than_o other_o day_n may_v right_o be_v call_v the_o day_n of_o god_n and_o that_o for_o diverse_a cause_n first_o for_o that_o god_n jehovah_n shall_v be_v make_v more_o manifest_a to_o the_o world_n then_o ever_o before_o both_o in_o reward_v of_o the_o good_a and_o punish_v of_o the_o wicked_a then_o shall_v that_o say_n of_o the_o psalmist_n be_v prove_v true_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o man_n and_o angel_n 58.11_o psal_n 58.11_o very_o there_o be_v a_o reward_n for_o the_o righteous_a there_o be_v a_o god_n that_o judge_v the_o earth_n moreover_o it_o may_v well_o be_v call_v the_o day_n of_o god_n for_o when_o god_n have_v judge_v the_o world_n by_o jesus_n christ_n then_o shall_v christ_n jesus_n deliver_v up_o the_o the_o trumpet_n be_v hear_v the_o world_n throughout_o to_o waken_v they_o that_o be_v in_o their_o grave_n then_o shall_v all_o they_o that_o be_v dead_a hear_v the_o voice_n of_o the_o son_n of_o that_o our_o saviour_n himself_o in_o the_o gospel_n after_o he_o have_v note_v many_o fearful_a sign_n that_o shall_v go_v before_o and_o accompany_v this_o great_a judgement_n for_o the_o confound_a of_o the_o wicked_a he_o add_v a_o most_o comfortable_a exhortation_n to_o all_o the_o godly_a bid_v they_o to_o lift_v up_o their_o head_n and_o rejoice_v 21.28_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n call_v a_o day_n of_o redemption_n luke_n 21.28_o for_o that_o the_o day_n of_o their_o redemption_n be_v at_o hand_n for_o then_o and_o upon_o that_o day_n all_o the_o faithful_a shall_v be_v sure_a to_o receive_v the_o effect_n of_o their_o former_a redemption_n purchase_v by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n and_o also_o the_o end_n of_o their_o faith_n which_o be_v their_o eternal_a salvation_n both_o
