people_n not_o for_o themselves_o or_o for_o their_o own_o glory_n but_o for_o the_o service_n of_o their_o master_n and_o supreme_a sovereign_n who_o have_v give_v they_o these_o dignity_n for_o the_o service_n of_o holy_a church_n that_o by_o their_o authority_n man_n may_v be_v force_v to_o the_o obedience_n of_o holy_a religion_n and_o that_o the_o disobedience_n of_o their_o people_n may_v be_v reduce_v under_o a_o civil_a and_o a_o christian_a government_n and_o therefore_o be_v king_n and_o queen_n call_v the_o nursefathers_n and_o mother_n of_o the_o catholic_a church_n because_o their_o national_a church_n and_o every_o child_n of_o grace_n in_o that_o church_n live_v under_o their_o tuition_n and_o their_o protection_n for_o which_o they_o be_v countable_a before_o god_n tribunal_n 6_o again_o religion_n be_v not_o only_o of_o necessity_n in_o the_o person_n of_o a_o prince_n but_o of_o religious_a politic_a consequence_n also_o for_o that_o prince_n or_o potentate_n who_o be_v true_o religious_a have_v not_o only_o for_o his_o recompense_n the_o reward_n of_o heaven_n which_o notwithstanding_o do_v abudant_o satisfy_v more_o than_o any_o man_n desert_n but_o also_o all_o other_o temporal_a blessing_n do_v of_o necessity_n depend_v upon_o the_o fortune_n of_o he_o that_o be_v religious_a and_o therefore_o peace_n plenty_n honour_n victory_n all_o these_o or_o as_o much_o of_o these_o as_o in_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n be_v think_v convenient_a for_o their_o happiness_n be_v always_o find_v in_o the_o fortune_n of_o holy_a prince_n to_o who_o god_n do_v apply_v himself_o and_o the_o largeness_n of_o his_o bounty_n when_o they_o apply_v themselves_o to_o god_n and_o to_o the_o service_n of_o catholic_a religion_n and_o this_o be_v the_o prince_n be_v politic_n and_o have_v understand_v in_o secret_n of_o most_o curious_a search_n wherein_o he_o must_v be_v moderate_v by_o his_o christian_a judgement_n that_o no_o unlawful_a policy_n enter_v further_o than_o his_o knowledge_n whereby_o his_o kingly_a reputation_n shall_v be_v stain_v with_o ungodly_a practice_n and_o therefore_o whatsoever_o be_v evil_a must_v be_v only_o know_v and_o whatsoever_o be_v good_a must_v be_v only_o practise_v especial_o with_o king_n who_o seat_n be_v above_o all_o man_n because_o they_o ought_v to_o be_v near_o god_n in_o sanctimonious_a life_n be_v near_o he_o in_o place_n and_o because_o all_o man_n eye_n be_v upon_o they_o and_o every_o man_n desire_n be_v to_o fashion_v they_o 9_o for_o i_o to_o advise_v a_o prince_n and_o to_o give_v direction_n will_v assure_o be_v think_v presumption_n because_o flattery_n and_o fear_v have_v corrupt_v the_o write_n of_o many_o man_n most_o man_n applaud_v the_o fortune_n of_o the_o present_a time_n how_o unfortunate_a so_o ever_o and_o flatter_a the_o prince_n under_o who_o they_o live_v in_o the_o exercise_n of_o much_o unlawfulness_n whereby_o such_o writer_n deny_v god_n deny_v their_o acknowledgement_n of_o truth_n and_o deny_v that_o service_n to_o their_o king_n and_o nation_n whereby_o both_o king_n and_o kingdom_n may_v be_v benefitted_a of_o which_o base_a fear_n i_o will_v ever_o be_v innocent_a and_o therefore_o i_o will_v bold_o declare_v my_o judgement_n even_o in_o this_o particular_a but_o that_o the_o christian_a labour_n of_o a_o christian_a king_n have_v prevent_v i_o who_o learned_a judgement_n and_o kingly_a experience_n have_v make_v he_o better_a able_a to_o advise_v in_o all_o such_o direction_n than_o myself_o or_o then_o any_o
