be_v in_o sadness_n in_o the_o consideration_n of_o what_o they_o have_v do_v and_o so_o look_v upon_o he_o who_o they_o have_v pierce_v and_o shall_v be_v in_o bitterness_n for_o he_o as_o one_o that_o be_v in_o bitterness_n for_o his_o only_a son_n and_o in_o that_o day_n there_o shall_v be_v great_a mourning_n in_o jerusalem_n as_o the_o mourning_n of_o hadadrimmon_n in_o the_o valley_n of_o megiddo_n as_o in_o zech._n 12._o from_o vers._n 10._o to_o the_o end_n but_o though_o i_o say_v it_o be_v thus_o with_o the_o saint_n at_o present_a there_o be_v a_o joyful_a day_n at_o hand_n when_o the_o lord_n shall_v return_v their_o captivity_n as_o the_o river_n in_o the_o south_n and_o so_o whatsoever_o be_v speak_v concerning_o the_o return_n of_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n out_o it_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v likewise_o in_o this_o sense_n now_o as_o for_o the_o judgement_n that_o be_v give_v unto_o the_o saint_n the_o glorious_a state_n of_o the_o church_n it_o consist_v most_o of_o all_o in_o respect_n of_o spiritual_n though_o i_o do_v not_o deny_v but_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o temporal_a power_n which_o be_v begin_v already_o for_o the_o kingdom_n be_v begin_v even_o here_o in_o babylon_n among_o the_o implacable_a enemy_n of_o god_n as_o in_o dan._n 2._o mic._n 4._o now_o i_o do_v join_v with_o the_o saint_n in_o this_o their_o judgement_n though_o i_o must_v go_v further_o for_o it_o will_v appear_v that_o though_o the_o kingdom_n be_v begin_v in_o babylon_n yet_o it_o shall_v not_o stand_v in_o babylon_n which_o be_v confusion_n but_o it_o be_v clear_a that_o god_n will_v gather_v his_o people_n out_o of_o babylon_n for_o divers_a reason_n the_o first_o be_v because_o they_o be_v to_o be_v distinguish_v from_o other_o people_n in_o that_o god_n will_v appear_v in_o they_o in_o glory_n which_o can_v be_v here_o in_o babylon_n in_o that_o the_o saint_n here_o be_v as_o black_a as_o pot_n they_o be_v the_o off-scowr_n of_o all_o thing_n they_o be_v vile_a in_o name_n and_o sore_o in_o affliction_n even_o as_o christ_n when_o he_o be_v on_o earth_n but_o when_o he_o shall_v appear_v we_o shall_v appear_v with_o he_o in_o glory_n and_o certain_o the_o whole_a earth_n shall_v be_v full_a of_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o lord_n his_o holy_a arm_n in_o deliver_v his_o people_n which_o can_v be_v until_o he_o shall_v gather_v we_o from_o among_o our_o enemy_n and_o so_o go_v before_o we_o himself_o now_o another_o reason_n be_v why_o god_n will_v gather_v his_o people_n from_o all_o place_n whither_o they_o have_v be_v lead_v captive_a because_o the_o saint_n can_v sing_v the_o song_n of_o moses_n and_o the_o lamb_n until_o the_o lord_n have_v give_v a_o full_a deliverance_n to_o his_o church_n and_o bring_v they_o into_o the_o wilderness_n speak_v of_o in_o hos._n 2._o 14._o and_o sure_o the_o lord_n have_v denounce_v to_o bring_v utter_a destruction_n on_o babylon_n which_o assure_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v and_o the_o lord_n can_v do_v nothing_o in_o this_o kind_n until_o he_o have_v gather_v his_o people_n out_o from_o among_o they_o now_o the_o scripture_n to_o prove_v the_o gather_v away_o of_o the_o saint_n out_o of_o babylon_n and_o the_o utter_a destruction_n that_o follow_v be_v isai._n the_o 13_o 14_o 50_o 51_o and_o 52_o chap._n revel._n 18._o now_o the_o scripture_n which_o do_v speak_v of_o the_o wilderness_n that_o the_o lord_n will_v gather_v his_o people_n into_o when_o they_o be_v deliver_v out_o of_o babylon_n be_v likewise_o many_o in_o which_o wilderness_n though_o there_o shall_v be_v nothing_o in_o sight_n in_o respect_n of_o spiritual_n and_o temporal_n yet_o the_o glory_n of_o lebanon_n shall_v be_v bring_v into_o it_o and_o the_o fruitfulness_n of_o vers._n 4._o to_o the_o 12._o isai._n 35._o throughout_o isa._n 51._o 3._o isa._n 48._o 20._o hos._n 2._o from_o vers._n 14._o to_o the_o end_n rev._n 12._o ezek._n 34._o isai._n 34._o from_o vers._n 20._o to_o the_o end_n now_o i_o have_v think_v to_o close_v up_o this_o discourse_n that_o concern_v the_o wilderness-condition_n which_o we_o do_v expect_v god_n will_v gather_v his_o church_n into_o when_o he_o shall_v separate_v they_o from_o babylon_n which_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v as_o well_o literal_o as_o spiritual_o but_o see_v it_o be_v so_o incredible_a a_o thing_n to_o the_o saint_n i_o conceive_v they_o will_v have_v but_o little_a mind_n to_o compare_v the_o scripture_n which_o speak_v of_o such_o a_o condition_n and_o therefore_o since_o it_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n to_o call_v i_o forth_o to_o make_v it_o forth_o more_o clear_o i_o do_v here_o glad_o follow_v he_o in_o the_o first_o place_n you_o may_v take_v notice_n of_o three_o particular_a estate_n which_o shall_v befall_v
