their_o devilish_a train_n with_o their_o horrible_a outcry_n hollow_a bleat_n painful_a wrestle_n and_o smite_v their_o own_o body_n seek_v deliverance_n but_o all_o in_o vain_a for_o he_o die_v miserable_o hereby_o and_o by_o several_a other_o thing_n i_o perceive_v that_o they_o be_v not_o in_o a_o manner_n indifferent_a whether_o they_o serve_v their_o own_o god_n or_o not_o or_o change_v they_o as_o some_o think_v for_o they_o be_v natural_o like_o the_o heathen_n of_o chittim_n and_o kedar_n which_o will_v not_o change_v their_o god_n which_o yet_o be_v no_o god_n when_o god_n blame_v his_o people_n for_o change_v their_o glory_n for_o that_o which_o do_v not_o profit_n i_o hope_v therefore_o that_o it_o be_v something_o of_o grace_n that_o many_o choose_v to_o worship_v the_o true_a god_n but_o touch_v the_o former_a vex_a mischief_n a_o sachem_n and_o no_o good_a friend_n to_o the_o work_n can_v not_o but_o acknowledge_v the_o blessing_n of_o god_n among_o the_o pray_v indian_n when_o i_o come_v over_o say_v he_o at_o the_o further_a end_n of_o the_o island_n there_o be_v a_o storm_n mention_v the_o aforesaid_a evil_n with_o some_o more_o but_o when_o i_o come_v to_o this_o end_n i_o find_v a_o calm_a the_o pray_v indian_n be_v all_o well_o they_o arise_v in_o the_o morning_n pray_v to_o god_n and_o go_v about_o their_o business_n and_o they_o be_v not_o hurt_v nor_o trouble_v like_o the_o other_o indian_n and_o the_o pow-wow_n themselves_o some_o of_o they_o do_v say_v that_o they_o can_v make_v their_o power_n seize_v on_o any_o of_o they_o questionless_a they_o have_v try_v their_o skill_n and_o satan_n have_v not_o be_v want_v to_o assist_v they_o who_o be_v so_o unwilling_a to_o fall_v down_o from_o his_o rule_n and_o to_o be_v and_o call_v they_o forth_o in_o order_n to_o make_v confession_n it_o be_v move_v in_o the_o assembly_n by_o reverend_a mr._n wilson_n that_o their_o former_a confession_n also_o as_o well_o as_o before_o i_o pray_v unto_o god_n the_o english_a when_o i_o come_v unto_o their_o house_n often_o say_v unto_o i_o pray_v to_o god_n but_o i_o have_v many_o friend_n who_o love_v i_o and_o i_o love_v they_o and_o they_o care_v not_o for_o pray_v to_o god_n and_o therefore_o i_o do_v not_o but_o i_o think_v in_o my_o heart_n that_o if_o my_o friend_n shall_v die_v and_o i_o live_v i_o then_o will_v then_o you_o come_v unto_o we_o and_o teach_v we_o and_o say_v unto_o we_o pray_v unto_o god_n and_o after_o that_o my_o heart_n grow_v strong_a and_o i_o be_v no_o more_o ashamed_a to_o pray_v but_o i_o do_v take_v up_o pray_v to_o god_n yet_o at_o first_o i_o do_v not_o think_v of_o god_n and_o eternal_a life_n but_o only_o that_o the_o english_a shall_v love_v i_o and_o i_o love_v they_o but_o after_o i_o come_v to_o learn_v what_o sin_n be_v by_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n and_o then_o i_o see_v all_o my_o sin_n lust_n game_n etc._n etc._n he_o name_v more_o you_o teach_v that_o christ_n know_v all_o our_o heart_n and_o see_v what_o be_v in_o they_o if_o humility_n or_o anger_n or_o evil_a thought_n christ_n see_v all_o that_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n then_o my_o heart_n fear_v great_o because_o god_n be_v angry_a for_o all_o my_o sin_n yea_o now_o my_o heart_n be_v full_a of_o evil_a thought_n and_o my_o heart_n run_v away_o from_o god_n therefore_o my_o heart_n fear_v and_o mourn_v every_o day_n i_o see_v sin_n in_o my_o heart_n one_o man_n bring_v sin_n into_o the_o world_n and_o i_o be_o full_a of_o that_o sin_n and_o i_o break_v god_n word_n every_o day_n
