count_v it_o joy_n and_o further_o not_o when_o they_o fall_v into_o some_o temptation_n out_o of_o which_o there_o be_v some_o hope_n to_o get_v out_o with_o some_o speed_n but_o when_o they_o fall_v into_o many_o and_o yet_o more_o to_o make_v the_o matter_n wonderful_a he_o will_v they_o not_o alone_o to_o count_v it_o some_o joy_n but_o all_o joy_n when_o their_o misery_n be_v so_o great_a that_o more_o can_v not_o be_v endure_v yet_o there_o their_o joy_n must_v be_v so_o great_a that_o more_o can_v not_o be_v express_v a_o duty_n wonderful_a hard_a and_o wonderful_a heavenly_a and_o hangman_n of_o the_o heart_n hope_n say_v it_o may_v be_v and_o fear_n say_v i_o suspect_v it_o will_v not_o be_v thus_o a_o man_n become_v like_o a_o wave_n 2._o this_o doubt_v do_v debar_v a_o man_n of_o that_o he_o shall_v have_v let_v not_o that_o man_n think_v to_o have_v any_o thing_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n thus_o the_o apostle_n cut_v off_o the_o soul_n from_o any_o expectation_n of_o good_a let_v not_o that_o man_n as_o though_o he_o have_v say_v let_v none_o such_o plead_v any_o privilege_n for_o neither_o shall_v be_v accept_v that_o unbeliever_n nor_o that_o party_n nor_o any_o all_o nor_o sufficient_a to_o express_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o point_n that_o he_o that_o pray_v shall_v be_v a_o believer_n but_o that_o he_o shall_v put_v forth_o the_o power_n and_o virtue_n of_o his_o faith_n in_o prayer_n nay_o further_o it_o be_v not_o alone_o here_o require_v that_o he_o shall_v put_v forth_o the_o work_n of_o faith_n in_o general_a touch_v the_o covenant_n as_o that_o god_n be_v reconcile_v to_o he_o but_o that_o he_o shall_v exercise_v the_o work_n of_o his_o faith_n touch_v that_o particular_a which_o he_o be_v to_o beg_v and_o which_o he_o now_o beg_v at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n and_o this_o especial_o be_v to_o be_v attend_v for_o these_o two_o work_n be_v far_o differ_v one_o from_o another_o and_o may_v be_v one_o without_o another_o each_o faithful_a man_n do_v believe_v the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n touch_v the_o pardon_n of_o his_o sin_n and_o the_o attainment_n of_o eternal_a life_n through_o christ_n and_o yet_o may_v stagger_v on_o the_o promise_n touch_v some_o particular_a which_o god_n have_v promise_v and_o he_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o thus_o abraham_n be_v rule_v by_o god_n gen._n 12._o and_o cast_v himself_o upon_o the_o call_n soul_n do_v not_o hinder_v a_o man_n the_o ground_n of_o it_o be_v this_o if_o he_o that_o have_v great_a interest_n in_o god_n love_n may_v yet_o notwithstanding_o not_o be_v assure_v of_o it_o in_o all_o which_o argue_v that_o a_o man_n be_v deep_o interest_v in_o god_n love_n and_o have_v a_o interest_n in_o a_o great_a measure_n to_o the_o lord_n christ_n and_o his_o covenant_n and_o so_o consequent_o to_o the_o sacrament_n i_o dare_v say_v this_o that_o the_o worst_a service_n of_o a_o christian_a man_n to_o his_o own_o sense_n and_o apprehension_n find_v most_o acceptance_n with_o god_n the_o poor_a duty_n for_o the_o performance_n outward_o be_v sometime_o most_o perfect_a why_o because_o then_o the_o heart_n be_v most_o abase_v in_o itself_o and_o then_o it_o see_v most_o forwardness_n and_o sufficiency_n many_o time_n unto_o duty_n be_v accompany_v often_o with_o most_o falseness_n at_o least_o wise_a with_o most_o pride_n and_o haughtiness_n of_o heart_n so_o deadness_n weariness_n untowardness_n inability_n be_v many_o time_n accompany_v with_o most_o humility_n with_o most_o brokennesse_n with_o most_o baseness_n with_o most_o go_v out_o of_o himself_o unto_o christ_n and_o with_o most_o sincerity_n in_o approve_v the_o heart_n unto_o christ_n rule_v 3_o the_o three_o rule_n be_v this_o former_a unpreparednesse_n unto_o god_n service_n and_o haply_o
