the_o power_n and_o privilege_n of_o parliament_n the_o subject_n right_o and_o liberty_n for_o by_o the_o protester_n observe_v all_o the_o king_n be_v best_a observe_v and_o trull_a his_o honour_n and_o promise_n be_v engage_v to_o maintain_v the_o latter_a three_o when_o as_o every_o one_o who_o take_v the_o protestation_n do_v thereby_o endeavour_v to_o make_v he_o a_o sovereign_a lord_n of_o a_o free_a and_o flourish_a people_n the_o king_n protestation_n concur_v with_o and_o tend_v to_o that_o end_n so_o the_o protestation_n take_v altogether_o be_v best_a observe_v and_o keep_v to_o the_o protestation_n for_o the_o defence_n of_o the_o protestant_a religion_n every_o one_o who_o take_v it_o be_v not_o immediate_o bind_v by_o virtue_n of_o his_o vow_n to_o extirpate_v or_o remove_v all_o papist_n that_o be_v above_o the_o power_n and_o liberty_n of_o every_o common_a person_n but_o if_o he_o see_v the_o protestant_a religion_n in_o danger_n of_o decline_v and_o that_o the_o papist_n be_v connive_v at_o and_o countenance_v by_o high_a power_n for_o the_o question_n be_v not_o about_o the_o certain_a and_o actual_a bring_v in_o of_o popery_n but_o touch_v the_o cause_n of_o suspicion_n if_o the_o protester_n adher_v to_o that_o party_n which_o promise_v to_o defend_v the_o protestant_n and_o oppose_v that_o which_o countenance_v the_o popish_a his_o protestation_n be_v the_o true_o keep_v a_o promise_n or_o vow_v the_o more_o pursue_v the_o more_o fulfil_v in_o like_a manner_n to_o the_o other_o part_n of_o the_o same_o protestation_n viz._n the_o maintenance_n of_o the_o king_n honour_n every_o one_o who_o take_v the_o same_o be_v not_o thereby_o bind_v to_o comply_v assent_n unto_o and_o obey_v the_o king_n in_o whatsoever_o he_o may_v thither_o from_o the_o violence_n of_o his_o own_o party_n the_o parliament_n commissioner_n urge_v far_o that_o it_o be_v declare_v from_o his_o majesty_n that_o he_o do_v disapprove_v the_o subscription_n of_o the_o officer_n of_o the_o army_n by_o mean_n whereof_o that_o course_n be_v divert_v that_o the_o commissioner_n send_v by_o the_o two_o house_n of_o parliament_n for_o the_o better_a supply_n and_o encourage_v the_o army_n in_o that_o kingdom_n be_v discountenance_v and_o command_v from_o the_o council_n there_o where_o the_o prosecution_n of_o the_o war_n be_v to_o be_v
