endeavour_v to_o hinder_v they_o and_o many_o time_n forbid_v they_o to_o preach_v any_o more_o in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n v._o labourer_n observe_v the_o fit_a time_n to_o do_v business_n in_o they_o work_v hard_o by_o day_n and_o whilst_o they_o have_v good_a wether_n v._o so_o christ_n labourer_n observe_v the_o fit_a time_n to_o do_v their_o work_n like_v as_o christ_n say_v 9.4_o john_n 9.4_o i_o must_v do_v the_o work_n of_o he_o that_o send_v i_o whilst_o it_o be_v day_n the_o night_n come_v when_o no_o man_n can_v work_v vi_o a_o labourer_n be_v worthy_a of_o his_o meat_n and_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v deny_v it_o vi_o so_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n ought_v to_o have_v all_o thing_n necessary_a provide_v for_o they_o and_o their_o family_n 9_o 1_o cor._n 9_o 9_o thou_o minister_n must_v be_v content_a to_o be_v poor_a with_o they_o yea_o rejoice_v to_o approve_v himself_o a_o minister_n of_o christ_n by_o hunger_n and_o nakedness_n if_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n call_v he_o thereto_o but_o whilst_o it_o be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o your_o hand_n to_o provide_v better_o for_o he_o god_n expect_v it_o from_o you_o and_o be_v not_o deceive_v god_n be_v not_o mock_v neither_o will_v he_o suffer_v his_o command_n to_o be_v slight_v and_o evade_v without_o render_v a_o just_a rebuke_n to_o the_o offender_n for_o whatsoever_o a_o man_n sow_v that_o shall_v he_o also_o reap_v now_o that_o you_o may_v the_o better_o understand_v how_o far_o you_o be_v concern_v in_o this_o duty_n before_o i_o proceed_v to_o the_o further_o press_v of_o it_o let_v i_o of_o the_o word_n and_o prayer_n and_o continue_v in_o read_v meditation_n etc._n etc._n as_o a_o man_n whole_o devote_v unto_o gospel-service_n and_o be_v therefore_o by_o his_o call_n to_o the_o ministry_n seclude_v from_o those_o way_n and_o mean_n of_o provide_v for_o his_o own_o subsistence_n as_o the_o trade_n and_o secular_a employment_n of_o other_o furnish_v they_o with_o that_o his_o mind_n by_o the_o care_n of_o worldly_a business_n may_v not_o be_v divert_v from_o that_o study_n of_o god_n word_n and_o care_n of_o soul_n which_o the_o duty_n of_o his_o station_n engage_v he_o to_o and_o if_o he_o may_v not_o expose_v himself_o to_o the_o careful_a thought_n that_o accompany_v worldly_a business_n though_o tend_v to_o his_o profit_n certain_o it_o be_v no_o way_n meet_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v leave_v to_o conflict_n with_o the_o thorny_a care_n of_o a_o necessitous_a condition_n whilst_o those_o he_o minister_n to_o have_v mean_n to_o prevent_v it_o 2._o it_o be_v no_o less_o the_o duty_n of_o a_o minister_n than_o of_o other_o man_n to_o provide_v for_o his_o family_n 5.8_o 1_o tim._n 5.8_o and_o what_o lie_v in_o he_o to_o take_v care_n of_o his_o wife_n and_o child_n that_o they_o may_v not_o be_v expose_v to_o a_o thousand_o misery_n and_o temptation_n when_o he_o be_v go_v i_o confess_v of_o all_o man_n in_o the_o world_n a_o covetous_a rake_v temper_n worst_o become_v a_o minister_n but_o we_o great_o mistake_v if_o we_o think_v he_o must_v divest_v himself_o of_o the_o due_a affection_n of_o a_o husband_n towards_o his_o wife_n or_o of_o a_o father_n towards_o his_o child_n or_o that_o those_o fruit_n thereof_o which_o be_v just_o esteem_v commendable_a in_o other_o shall_v be_v a_o fault_n in_o he_o 3._o a_o elder_a or_o bishop_n be_v under_o a_o special_a charge_n to_o use_v hospitality_n and_o to_o set_v in_o himself_o a_o pattern_n of_o charity_n and_o compassionate_a bounty_n to_o poor_a soul_n and_o if_o it_o be_v his_o duty_n to_o be_v hospitable_a and_o charitable_a in_o a_o eminent_a degree_n then_o without_o controversy_n the_o people_n be_v concern_v to_o endeavour_v that_o he_o may_v be_v capable_a of_o give_v proof_n of_o this_o grace_n in_o he_o by_o the_o exercise_n of_o it_o as_o there_o be_v occasion_n these_o thing_n be_v premise_v i_o shall_v show_v you_o that_o you_o lie_v under_o the_o strong_a
