be_v the_o man_n that_o stand_v not_o in_o the_o way_n of_o sinner_n but_o present_o make_v haste_n out_o of_o it_o psal_n 1._o 1._o it_o be_v necessary_a therefore_o that_o have_v sin_v we_o forthwith_o ask_v the_o pardon_n of_o it_o and_o power_n against_o it_o but_o not_o necessary_a to_o go_v every_o time_n to_o set-prayer_n god_n will_v not_o have_v we_o delay_v till_o the_o time_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d in_o season_n and_o out_o of_o season_n there_o need_v no_o wait_v for_o a_o fit_a time_n to_o pray_v in_o with_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n as_o when_o we_o be_v to_o pray_v with_o other_o prayer_n very_o often_o there_o do_v we_o have_v no_o cause_n to_o say_v when_o we_o shall_v pray_v with_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n our_o time_n be_v not_o yet_o come_v for_o it_o convenient_a for_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n and_o therefore_o it_o may_v be_v make_v any_o where_o in_o any_o place_n one_o as_o well_o as_o another_o without_o exception_n there_o need_v no_o enter_v into_o the_o closet_n no_o shut_n of_o the_o door_n for_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n no_o withdraw_n from_o company_n no_o go_n into_o a_o desert_a place_n as_o sometime_o there_o must_v be_v for_o set-prayer_n mat._n 6._o 6._o &_o ch_z 14._o 23._o and_o whereas_o other_o prayer_n require_v some_o actual_a preparation_n ordinary_o which_o may_v have_v something_o of_o difficulty_n in_o it_o with_o god_n for_o as_o acquaintance_n grow_v among_o man_n by_o intercouse_n and_o speak_v one_o to_o another_o so_o it_o be_v here_o by_o accustom_v to_o speak_v to_o god_n by_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n we_o grow_v acquaint_v with_o he_o which_o what_o a_o advantage_n it_o be_v eliphaz_n will_v tell_v you_o job_n 22._o 21._o it_o be_v a_o special_a mean_n of_o freedom_n from_o cark_n care_n and_o a_o special_a ease_n to_o unburden_v one_o self_n thus_o into_o the_o bosom_n of_o god_n upon_o all_o occasion_n it_o be_v a_o special_a preparative_a to_o every_o duty_n and_o a_o good_a close_a of_o it_o duty_n be_v never_o better_o perform_v than_o when_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n be_v make_v the_o alpha_n and_o omega_n the_o beginning_n and_o end_v of_o they_o to_o conclude_v there_o be_v no_o such_o way_n to_o attain_v our_o desire_n so_o speedy_o and_o frequent_o as_o to_o be_v much_o in_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n without_o this_o many_o of_o they_o will_v be_v but_o wander_v and_o consequent_o vain_a and_o fruitless_a desire_n whereas_o this_o will_v send_v they_o to_o their_o right_a place_n and_o object_n which_o can_v be_v without_o some_o good_a success_n and_o thus_o you_o see_v what_o advantage_n there_o be_v by_o it_o in_o respect_n of_o our_o own_o good_n it_o be_v of_o advantage_n also_o 2._o in_o respect_n of_o god_n glory_n it_o give_v he_o glory_n not_o only_o as_o other_o prayer_n do_v but_o in_o a_o special_a and_o peculiar_a manner_n as_o such_o prayer_n for_o it_o show_v that_o he_o be_v a_o present_a help_n in_o time_n of_o trouble_n able_a to_o deliver_v when_o and_o wheresoever_o we_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o deliverance_n it_o show_v also_o that_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o help_v as_o well_o as_o able_a see_v as_o appear_v by_o this_o a_o praying-way_n i_o mean_v in_o respect_n of_o their_o conversation_n and_o course_n of_o life_n that_o they_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o be_v always_o exercise_v in_o that_o which_o be_v good_a and_o take_v heed_n not_o to_o be_v engage_v at_o any_o time_n in_o any_o sinful_a practice_n that_o they_o know_v or_o think_v to_o be_v sinful_a for_o there_o be_v still_o need_v almost_o to_o be_v pray_v with_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n and_o if_o at_o any_o time_n they_o be_v not_o in_o a_o good_a way_n but_o do_v that_o which_o be_v evil_a contrary_a to_o knowledge_n and_o conviction_n either_o they_o will_v have_v no_o heart_n to_o pray_v with_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n for_o conscience_n of_o sin_n will_v stop_v the_o mouth_n and_o make_v they_o unable_a to_o psal_n 40._o 12._o look_v up_o unto_o omit_v or_o not_o right_o perform_v three_o see_v hence_o what_o need_v there_o be_v to_o be_v in_o a_o praying-state_n for_o otherwise_o you_o can_v be_v in_o a_o praying-frame_n for_o ejaculatory_a or_o any_o other_o prayer_n whatsoever_o a_o unsanctified_a person_n have_v always_o a_o unsanctified_a frame_n of_o heart_n his_o mind_n and_o conscience_n be_v defile_v titus_n 1._o 15._o and_o therefore_o can_v do_v no_o duty_n well_o and_o acceptable_o four_o see_v hence_o what_o a_o vain_a and_o foolish_a conceit_n it_o be_v for_o any_o to_o think_v to_o be_v hear_v mere_o for_o their_o be_v guilty_a of_o that_o neglect_v ejaculatory_a prayer_n for_o if_o it_o be_v a_o duty_n a_o duty_n of_o such_o necessity_n to_o be_v perform_v as_o we_o have_v see_v it_o be_v if_o there_o be_v so_o many_o advantage_n for_o and_o so_o many_o advantage_n by_o the_o diligent_a and_o frequent_a performance_n of_o it_o as_o we_o have_v see_v there_o be_v than_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v very_o great_a evil_n they_o be_v guilty_a of_o that_o do_v either_o whole_o or_o for_o the_o most_o part_n neglect_v it_o and_o this_o lead_v i_o to_o another_o part_n of_o the_o application_n wherein_o for_o the_o conviction_n of_o those_o that_o as_o be_v either_o in_o the_o one_o respect_n or_o in_o the_o other_o guilty_a be_v concern_v i_o shall_v a_o little_a enlarge_v in_o the_o chapter_n persuade_v to_o the_o practice_n of_o this_o duty_n of_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n and_o to_o give_v direction_n concern_v it_o i_o will_v show_v here_o the_o evil_a of_o neglect_v it_o man_n never_o make_v conscience_n of_o practise_v any_o duty_n aright_o till_o they_o be_v first_o sensible_a of_o the_o evil_a of_o the_o neglect_v of_o it_o that_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n be_v much_o neglect_v though_o it_o come_v
and_o therefore_o then_o lift_v up_o your_o heart_n in_o ejaculatory_a prayer_n 1._o for_o wisdom_n and_o discretion_n to_o direct_v you_o that_o so_o you_o may_v not_o lean_v to_o your_o own_o understanding_n say_v lord_n thou_o have_v say_v that_o if_o any_o man_n lack_v wisdom_n he_o shall_v ask_v it_o of_o thou_o and_o so_o do_v i_o therefore_o i_o come_v unto_o thou_o be_v thou_o
